'Do not eat': Beef lasagne pulled from shelves as some filled with prawns
Packs of beef lasagne have been pulled from supermarket shelves because some may contain seafood.
Giovanni Rana (UK) Ltd is recalling La Famiglia Rana Slow-Cooked Braised Beef Lasagne, due to a packaging error.
Some packs contain prawn and lobster lasagne instead.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans.

The ready meal serves two people and is described as 'succulent chunks of braised beef in a rich sauce, layered with fresh egg pasta and béchamel sauce, topped with breadcrumbs.'
This alert was published on Wednesday via the Food Standards Agency and affects the 700g packs with batch code L0B510816 and a best before date of June 17, 2025.
Giovanni Rana (UK) has been told to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
The recall notice is England, Scotland and Wales only.
A statement from the firm read: 'Consumers who have purchased the product should not eat it, and can return it to the store from which you purchased it for a refund, even without presenting the purchase receipt.'
It added: 'We apologise for any inconvenience caused.'

A popular air fryer has been recalled over fears it could melt, warp and catch fire, the UK 's product safety watchdog warned. The Haden air fryer, sold by Wilko and The Range, was pulled from shelves as the Office for Product Safety and Standards warned it posed a ' serious risk of fire '. The regulator said the kitchen appliance's maximum temperature could exceed the stated level, causing the plastic and metal to warp and melt. 'The product presents a serious risk of fire as the heating element exceeds 150 degrees (the marked limit),' it warned. 'After prolonged use on the highest setting, the plastic and metal parts can warp and melt, presenting a risk of fire.' The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, the watchdog added. Consumers have been advised to stop using the product and return it to any The Range or Wilko store for a full refund. According to the official body, this is a health risk for anyone who may have an allergy and consumes the product without knowing the crustaceans are inside.
