Ed Sheeran CONFIRMS Hindi Song For Shah Rukh Khan Film, Fans Think It Is SRK-Deepika Padukone's King

Last Updated: Ed Sheeran confirms he's sung a Hindi song for Shah Rukh Khan's Bollywood film. Fans suspect it's for King after spotting Siddharth Anand in BTS video. Ed Sheeran might just be the newest international name stepping into Bollywood—and he's not exactly being subtle about it. After charming Indian fans during his recent tour and launching his latest single Sapphire with Arijit Singh, the British pop star has sparked fresh buzz online. Why? He's officially confirmed recording a Hindi song for a Shah Rukh Khan film! On Tuesday, Ed gave fans a peek behind the scenes of Sapphire through a new BTS video. In the clip, he can be seen having fun with the crew, attempting Punjabi lyrics, and talking about how the Shah Rukh cameo in the video came to be. But it's what he said next that really got everyone talking. While Ed didn't name the film, fans were quick to connect the dots. Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on only one confirmed project — King, now directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is dominating headlines for featuring Suhana Khan's big-screen debut alongside her father, and an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat and Arshad Warsi. Adding fuel to the speculation, Ed was also spotted in the BTS footage spending time with Siddharth Anand in a recording studio — suggesting that the Hindi track he mentioned might actually be tied to King. As of now, the title and details of the Hindi song remain under wraps, but fans are thrilled at the idea of Ed Sheeran making a musical splash in a Bollywood blockbuster. With Sapphire already winning hearts in its Punjabi version with Arijit and a potential Hindi debut on the way, Ed's Bollywood crossover might just be getting started. First Published:
