Finding willing opponents to put their reputation on the line against the youngster from London has proved to be Itauma's toughest fight so far.
But stepping up this Saturday in Scotland on Josh Taylor's undercard is southpaw Balogun.
The 6ft 1in American first made his name in the NFL, playing for the likes of the San Francisco 49ers, the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys.

But his career as a linebacker came to an end in 2012 - by that time he had already trained in boxing as part of his American football regime.
It was only after being released by the Virginia Destroyers that Balogun decided to cross over to professional boxing.
He made his debut in 2014 and his career transformation was underway.
Balogun's biggest win to date came in 2021 when he knocked out Trey Lippe Morrison - son of the late former world champion Tommy.

Meanwhile Martin Bakole, 31, and Filip Hrgovic, 32, are two others on Itauma's radar.
Warren told
'Moses is not sitting around waiting for him, is he? He's gonna get on with his business and who knows, I would expect by the end of this year for Moses to have at least another three fights.
"I haven't got to drum up Bakole in my job, I'm in the Moses Itauma business and that's all I care about.
'I think that's [Itauma and Hrgovic] also a good fight to make. I wouldn't have a problem doing that sometime this year.'

Five ways Liverpool could line up after epic transfer window, including Florian Wirtz, Bradley Barcola & Alexander Isak

LIVERPOOL could have a new-look attack next season with a potential £300million spending spree this summer. READ MORE IN FOOTBALL Kerkez is valued at £40m and Liverpool have opened talks over his transfer, but if the two clubs fail to agree a fee then Andy Robertson will likely continue in the left-back berth. Here are the ways Liverpool could line up in the Premier League next season. Option one 8 Slot's dream line-up would be the inclusion of two new full-backs to freshen up the defence. Frimpong and Kerkez would also add plenty going forward, supporting the likes of Barcola and Mo Salah in attack. That would likely rule out a move for Barcola, meaning Wirtz or Luis Diaz could line up at left wing. It could also mean Slot decides to continue with the midfield three that served his team so well next season, allowing the attack the freedom to score and produce goals. Option three 8 Frimpong's arrival gives Slot multiple options on the right flank thanks to his flexibility. He operated mostly as a right wing-back at That attacking quality could see him play further forward at Anfield if Slot fancies giving Conor Bradley more game time. Frimpong at right wing could also reduce Salah's workload, with the Egyptian operating through the middle instead. Option four 8 There could be more opportunities for fringe players to stake their claim next season. Caoimhin Kelleher's exit to The Georgian signed last summer but spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Valencia, impressing between the sticks. Joe Gomez could also be in line for more minutes next season but he would have to find consistency in his fitness - something which has deserted him throughout his Anfield stay. Option five 8 Jarell Quansah will also be hoping to build on his breakthrough season, which was rather stunted by the fact he started just four Prem matches last season. No Isak could mean

Crystal Palace receive last minute takeover bid from Donald Trump pal that could rescue Europa League hopes

NEW YORK JETS owner Woody Johnson has launched a bid to buy John Textor's minority stake in Crystal Palace, according to reports. Textor, 59, has been trying to flog his shares as Uefa threaten to throw Palace out of next season's Europa League. Advertisement 1 Woody Johnson has launched a bid for Crystal Palace Credit: Getty The Eagles qualified for the Europa League by virtue of lifting the FA Cup last month. As Textor, who owns a 43 per cent stake in Palace, is also majority owner of French side Lyon, who have also qualified for the Europa League, the Eagles' place in Europe has come under threat. Uefa rules dictate that two teams under the same ownership cannot compete in the same competition. Textor could have placed his shares into a blind trust by March 1 to avoid this issue, but with Palace's FA Cup triumph still appearing to be a long shot at the time, the American businessman did not. Advertisement READ MORE CRYSTAL PALACE NEWS Palace chiefs are currently desperately trying to convince Uefa that Textor has no involvement in day-to-day goings on at the club. The Missouri-native has long been thought to be trying to flog his shares. And according to Johnson, 78, served as US ambassador to the UK during Donald Trump's first administration. Advertisement Most read in Football Breaking Last month it was reported that the New Jersey-native may even try to buy a controlling stake in the Eagles. Long-serving chairman Steve Parish owns around 10 per cent of the South London club, having helped to save them from going bust in 2010. Americans David Blitzer and Josh Harris own 36 per cent, with Textor possessing 43 per cent. THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY..
