JJ Spaun is the 125th U.S. Open champion, but the fans' laser focus noticed something amiss as he began his celebrations.
The camera was on his wife, Melody, and their two children. What appeared to be a special Father's Day moment quickly became speculation as the next few moments felt rather awkward between Spaun and his wife.

Photo byMultiple people took to social media after he did not even thank or mention his wife during the on-course interview, but Spaun did bring up his children.
After winning, Spaun approached and hugged them, took one of the girls into his arms, and gave his wife a quick peck on the lips. However, he did not appear to show much affection toward Melody.

This video seems harmless, but was there a little tension between the two?
From there, fans felt the now 2-time PGA Tour winner and his wife were in the middle of a fight.
During the live broadcast, there was also a moment when he took his kids into the clubhouse with him and completely ignored her. Then she gave his caddie, Mark Carens, one of the most awkward hugs you will ever see.
The video of the encounter has since been deleted.

Those moments immediately had golf Twitter speculating whether he liked his wife. Not mentioning her after winning the biggest tournament of your career was weird, especially since he brought up their kids in that same interview.
The reactions to watching this go down are what brought focus to the whole situation.

"No idea what's going on in JJ Spaun's personal life, but ignoring his wife after the biggest win of his career on Father's Day is worse than a triple bogey. Ouch," wrote one fan.
"Hopefully JJ Spaun's wife doesn't use social media, bc nobody thinks her husband even likes her," chimed in another. "JJ Spaun completely shading his wife, so weird."
These are just a few of the tweets related to this topic. There are countless more.
It very well may be possible that Spaun was just caught up in the moment. But after all of the drama involving Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll, and seeing Meredith and Scottie Scheffler embrace after every win, it's become something fans look for.

Hailey Bieber's Father's Day Comment To Justin Explained

As you probably know, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber became parents when they welcomed their baby, Jack Blues, into the world last August. And last month, Justin sparked backlash when he posted a shady message on Hailey's first Mother's Day. Utilizing Instagram's 'Notes' feature, Justin posted: 'Love u moms but mothers day sucks ass' on Sunday, May 11 — a note that he amplified to his 294 million followers by sharing a screenshot of it to his Instagram story. He followed up with another post that read: 'Good luck today for anyone navigating Mother's Day.' Needless to say, Justin's followers were shocked by these posts, and he was heavily criticized online at the time. Many claimed he had humiliated Hailey on what should have been a special day, and one viral tweet called his actions "vile." Justin ended up deleting the note after a few hours. He also followed up with posts celebrating Hailey, including a series of photos of her with the caption: 'Best mommy day gurlie.' Justin then shared a video of his Mother's Day surprise for his wife, which included a mariachi band. But all of that was too little, too late, with many still side-eyeing the star for the insensitive note. And that is why people were left delighted on Sunday when Hailey expertly played Justin at his own game on his first Father's Day. If you follow Justin, you will know that he shared over a dozen Instagram grid posts on the day, with the first a black and white selfie alongside the caption: 'I'm a dad that's not to be fucked with.' Hailey immediately commented on the post: 'Father's Day sucks ass.' The star was celebrated for getting her own back on her husband, with one viral tweet simply sharing a screenshot of Justin's original message and Hailey's comment alongside the caption: 'Hailey got her lick back 😭😭😭'This tweet has been seen over nine million times in less than 24 hours, racking up over tens of thousands of likes, retweets, and replies.'OK i love her,' a popular reply reads, while another echoes: 'She's so unserious I love her.'It's worth noting that despite claims Hailey has since deleted her comment, it's actually still visible under Justin's post at the time of writing after being posted 17 hours ago. Hailey did not publicly acknowledge Father's Day on her own Instagram page, but Justin did not appear to have any hard feelings toward his wife for either that or her comment. Later in the day, he shared multiple photos of Hailey and Jack playing on a piano, and he also shared a picture of a smiling dolphin leaping through the air alongside the caption: 'How I feel when @haileybieber Gets home' to his Instagram story. What do you make of Hailey's comment? Let me know down below!

40-Pound Dog Meets 0.9-Pound Kitten—His Reaction Goes Viral

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A viral TikTok video shows a big dog's hilarious reaction to seeing a tiny kitten for first time, and internet users can't stop laughing at it. The clip shared on Tuesday under the username @.pinkskates, shows the large-sized dog perching on the veterinarian's lap, looking terrified as the doctor sitting next to him holds a sleeping newborn kitten, a few feet away. "Aw, it's so terrifying, so scary …" the veterinarians can be heard saying as they try to make the pup comfortable. "A 40lb dog courageously confronts a 0.9lb kitten," the poster writes in the clip " … Harrowing," she continues in the caption. Despite the fact that they're often bigger than their feline counterparts, it is not very uncommon for dogs to be scared of cats. But what makes these small furballs terrifying to our dogs? Canada Vet says this fear is usually due to a mix of instincts, past experiences, and the felines' powerful personalities. Maybe your dog experienced a cat's claws or bites before and they still remember how it felt, which can cause fear. Not all dogs, however, are afraid of cats, and their size and breed play a part in this. Certain breeds, like smaller ones, or those bred for companionship, are more likely to be afraid of cats. When adding a dog to your cat household, or vice versa, it is important that you choose the right match. While it is true that most canines can be trained to live with felines, some breeds are better suitable to life with cats than others. Burns Court Veterinary Care explains that breeds such as Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, and beagles are the canines that get along best with cats, because of their friendly manners, which not all other dogs share. For cats, the breeds that are most likely to accept a dog into their life include Maine coons, rag-dolls, and Siamese. Stock image: A dog and a cat look at each other in the yard. One user, Lacy Thompson-Harper, commented: "My kitten has NO EYES and is 1 lb, and my 80 lb pittie shakes and cries." Idiot_in_space posted: "TBF [to be fair], how many people are scared of 0.5oz spiders?" Cassandra Appell added: "Look you laugh now, but that dog clearly had been in a house with a kitten before. It's all fun and games until that gray fur-ball wakes up and sinks its claws into your ankles." Newsweek reached out to @.pinkskates for comment via TikTok comments.
