What inspired your move from a romantic musical to a family drama with
'Sanghvi and Sons'?
The COVID-19 pandemic was a period of deep reflection for many, and for me, it became the inspiration behind this story.
During those uncertain times, when the world slowed down, we were reminded of what truly matters: the warmth of family, the strength of relationships, and the importance of staying connected with our loved ones. This story is a heartfelt tribute to those emotions and realizations.
What is the core message or emotion you want audiences to take away from this film?
Nothing in this world is more important than family. They are our true support system, the ones who stand by us when everything else falls apart.

From the very beginning of writing the script, I was clear about who I wanted for the main roles; actors like

Once the script was completed, I finalized the rest of the cast. Personally, I don't believe in chasing big names or relying heavily on auditions when casting. I prefer to follow my instincts and choose artists who truly fit the soul of the character.
Your last film was known for its music. How important is music in 'Sanghvi and Sons'? Have you taken a different musical approach this time?
Yes, definitely, music has always been an essential part of my storytelling. This time, the music is composed by Kedar Bhargav, and believe me, you won't be disappointed. He's brought a unique touch and emotional depth to the soundtrack that beautifully complements the narrative.

I became sober in 2020 and I stopped alcohol in one go. I needed to stop, it was interfering with my life. I took professional help to stop and it was the best decision I have made in my life. I started drinking at a very young so this was the first time the brain fog lifted." Earlier, in an interview Fardeen had spoken about taking time off from movies as he was concentrating on his personal life. Him and his wife Natasha had moved to London and they were facing trouble having children. He said during a chat with Bollywood Hungama, "We were having challenges having children, and that's when we decided to take the IVF route. That's why I needed to take some time off. It wasn't meant to be this long. I thought only for a few years… get everything settled, but things didn't happen that way.
