Gŵyl y Felinheli promises eight days of community spirit
The festival, set to run from June 27 to July 5, promises eight days brimming with community spirit, music, and activities for all ages.
Osian Owen, press officer for the festival, said: "There's something really special about seeing the bunting go up.
"It's the moment everyone knows it's nearly time for Gŵyl y Felinheli."
The full programme is now available on the festival's website, revealing a blend of traditions and surprises for 2025.
Regular favourites such as family bingo, the silent disco, children's races, quiz night, and the Felinheli 10K will make a return this year.
However, the programme also features new additions, from an Abba tribute night to a Gong Bath experience, which is described as 'a peaceful, meditative journey through sound.'
Mr Owen said: "We're always excited to introduce new additions to the festival programme.
"From an Abba tribute night to a Gong Bath experience—it's about making space for new ideas while still celebrating what we all love about this festival."

The festival will also feature a comedy session for Welsh learners, providing a welcoming space to enjoy a laugh while practising the language.
A day dedicated to younger children on the first Saturday ensures there is plenty to entertain families.

One of the standout evenings promises to be Friday, July 4, with an evening of entertainment hosted by comedians Geth & Ger, joined by the Magee Brothers and a lineup of local talent.

The 24-year-old Welsh speaker added his latest tattoo to his collection, commemorating the phrase "Ymlaen", which translates as "forward" and can mean "onwards and upwards" in English. But there was one major problem with Cai's lovely idea- the word was spelt incorrectly. During the pre-appointment with the tattoo artist, Cai sent the correct spelling but when it came to choosing the font on Tuesday (June 24) the English artist accidentally rearranged the letters to spell 'YMAELN". Ymaeln in Welsh means, well absolutely nothing. Then she was texting me 'Cai, Cai you've spelled it wrong." Cai's sister Lowri was the first person to notice the problem (Image: Cai Morgan ) Whilst some people would be devastated, Cai has found the humour in the situation. He said: "I was absolutely flabbergasted. I was just laughing and smiling, Facetiming my sister with my hand over my mouth." Cai moved to East Sussex six-years-ago for university from his home in Hirwaun. Throughout Cai's life his mum and dad have used the phrase "Ymlaen" in times of need, when he needs cheering up or to congratulate positives. When he showed his mum his new tattoo she at first was happy with the sentimentality of the meaning behind it and then she was shocked noticing the misspelling, land then had a laugh along with her son. The tattoo has sentimental value to Cai as his father passed away last year. Cai said: "It was very sentimental as my dad was a very patriotic fluent Welsh speaker, who passed away last year. Him and my mam would always drill the "Ymlaen" mantra into me. "He would be laughing his head off seeing it." Cai's parents drilled the phrase into him growing up (Image: Cai Morgan ) After the artist was made aware of the accidental mistake they offered to retouch up the tattoo once it had been lasered off. The Apple TV+ nine-part series draws from the 2021 podcast Firebug by Truth Media, which delves into the story of a serial arsonist who targeted businesses in Southern California during the '80s and '90s. In the series, Egerton plays Dave, an arson investigator who teams up with detective Michelle Calderone, played by Jurnee Smollett to apprehend two elusive serial arsonists he's been pursuing for months. Before filming began, the actor admitted to the Radio Times that he was unaware of the "disturbing" real events that inspired Dennis Lehane's series and hadn't listened to Firebug before he agreed to the role. The actor who grew up in Aberystwyth had said that he had found many aspects of the case not only disturbing but also perplexing due to the bizarre nature of the arsonist's actions. Taron saw it as a significant challenge to combine these peculiarities into a single, believable character. He shared: "I think that's really true of the show. It's a real juggle, sort of trying to figure out who Dave is and who the other characters in the show are as well, because no one is very easily squeezed into a box." Taron was enthused about the project right from the start, eager to work with his Blackbird showrunner Lehane again and delve into the complexities of what he described as a "fascinating" character marked by a flawed sense of heroism. Article continues below He explained to the Radio Times: "I was actually pretty sure I was gonna do it before I read the script because [Dennis and I] started talking about it when we were still shooting Blackbird "So it's been a long time in the works. But when he did finally send me the first couple of scripts, god, I was so excited." Taking on the role of Dave seemed like uncharted territory for the actor. He said: "It's a fascinating role, he's so unlike anything that I've ever been asked to play before, and actually, in a lot of ways, really unlike anything that I've seen on TV before. "He's not split personality, but he has somehow compartmentalised who he is in a way that's really strange, and if you have an insight into what's going on behind closed doors, it's really quite disturbing. "Dave is somebody who would style himself as a hero and as just a regular Joe who's trying to save the day. "On the surface of things, that doesn't seem that unnerving, but anyone in real life who would describe themself as a hero is probably someone I'd think was a little bit weird. And Dave is definitely more than a little bit weird." Taron hinted that as the series unfolds, Dave gains more insight into his identity and purpose, yet he cautioned that it's sometimes a disconcerting journey for the audience.
