
Woman hit by bus in Wolverhampton taken to hospital
A pedestrian hit by a bus has been taken to hospital in the West Midlands.The woman, who had been struck on Devon Road in Wolverhampton at about 09:55 BST, had injuries that were not thought to be serious, the ambulance service said.She was taken to New Cross Hospital in the city for further checks.West Midlands Roads said the street was blocked in both directions after the incident and asked people to allow extra time to travel.

Twelve men accused of revenge plot after man killed in Glasgow

Police searching Ecclesall Woods for missing Sheffield man

Victim and suspect hunted after hammer attack in Leicester
Police have urged anyone with information about an alleged hammer attack to contact them after officers were unable to find either the assailant or victim.A number of people reported the alleged attack, which is took place in High Street, Market Harborough at 17.30 BST on officers were then sent to the scene, but they were unable to find a casualty or the who witnessed the event or has information on it has been asked to contact police.
