Over 300 people attended the vigil
Last night, around 300 people attended the arranged vigil in Banknock – near where his body was discovered.
During the hour-long vigil, family members and pals of Cole came together to sing songs and share memories.
Cole's nine-year-old sister, Casia, choked back tears as she paid tribute to her brother.
She said: 'To start off, we will all miss you so much and you will never be forgotten.
'We all love you so much. I will never forget your silly laugh and your hugs.
'Your hugs were so special, and I will never forget them.
We will all miss you so much and you will never be forgotten. We all love you so much... Your hugs were so special, and I will never forget them

'When I was in my room crying you would come in and see me and when you left I would always be laughing.
'I love you so much, and it will be different without you, but I love you.'
His brother, Connor Cooper, also spoke.
The 22-year-old said: 'I would like to thank everyone who helped with the search for my young brother.
Mum of missing Scots teen Cole Cooper, 19, reveals living 'nightmare' in heartbreaking interview over his disappearance
'Cole is one of the most loving and caring boys, He always spoke so highly of the folk he cared about and would go above and beyond for them.
'There are so many memories. We were typical brothers who would wrestle and throw in a couple of WWE finishers.
'On one of my last calls with him, he was looking for help with his invoices, and it finished up with him wanting to sue the taxman. I would have loved to have seen that in court.
'I have had a wonderful 19 years of being his older brother, and the next handful of years are not going to be easy. But we will never forget Cole.
'I hope you are at peace now, and we will continue to fight for answers.'

Cole's family and friends also let off flares and bubbles and a singer belted out some of his favourite songs.
Following his disappearance, a major search was launched to find Cole, with specialist units, drones, divers and helicopters all called in.
But sadly, his body was found in the woods in Banknock near Kilsyth Road on Friday, June 6.
Cole's death is being treated as "unexplained" and extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Detectives are continuing to piece together Cole's last movements, with CCTV reviews and house-to-house enquiries continuing this weekend.

He was seen on CCTV around 6am on Sunday, 4 May, on Cumbernauld Road in Longcroft.
A witness reported seeing him around 8.45pm on Wednesday, May 7, on Glasgow Road, at the junction with Cumbernauld Road in Longcroft.
Officers say establishing Cole's last movements is "a priority.'
Chief Inspector Alex Hatrick said: "My thoughts are with Cole's family and friends at this time and officers will continue to offer them support.
"As our enquiries progress, we are ensuring the family is kept informed with all aspects of the investigation.
"A dedicated team of detectives is working to piece together Cole's movements leading up to his death.
"Again, I would urge people to think back and please contact police with any information, no matter how small it might seem."

John Swinney's NHS pledges face backlash as waiting times soar

John Swinney has promised since becoming First Minister that he will turn around the ailing health service. But deeds are more important than words and the experience of patients can be poor. Scots are sick of having to endure the 8am lottery of trying to secure an appointment with a GP. They are fearful of ending up in accident and emergency lest they are faced with an excruciating wait. And hundreds of thousands of patients remain on waiting lists for treatments and operations. New figures on ambulances being stuck on hospital forecourts are a further cause for concern. In 2019, just 16 per cent of ambulances spent more than three quarters of an hour at hospitals before being deployed again. The figure shot up to 52 per cent last year and is sitting at 55 per cent for 2025. The First Minister keeps insisting the NHS is on the right track and says more procedures will be carried out. But patients are impatient and they want the NHS to work for them. Swinney will make a speech at a hospital today with a message of renewal for public services. He will say: 'Public services first built in and for the 20th century must become rooted instead in the realities of the 21st. Our public realm reshaped; our nation renewed and reborn for this new age.' Scots have heard this tune before and they are becoming angry with the SNP on the NHS. The gap between rhetoric and delivery is huge and the NHS will be a major election issue next year. Deadly error The criminal record of a trans killer did not show up when a lawyer asked for information on their previous convictions from the Crown Office. Alan Baker was jailed for 19 years for knifing a man to death and then changed gender behind bars. Now a trans woman known as Alex Stewart, the record showed no previous convictions. The error, and let us assume the authorities are guilty of nothing more than negligence, has apparently been corrected. But campaigners are right to ask whether our system is robust enough to make sure a criminal record cannot be erased by a simple change of identity. The integrity of the justice system depends on transparency. An individual's previous convictions matter.

Mum of murdered Libby Squire slams ‘legal loophole' that allows pervs to dodge sex register & says lives would be saved

Libby Squire's mother has campaigned for victims of non-contact offences for years PURE EVIL Mum of murdered Libby Squire slams 'legal loophole' that allows pervs to dodge sex register & says lives would be saved Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE mother of a 21-year-old student who was murdered by a vile sex offender has slammed a ridiculous legal loophole that allows pervs to dodge the sex offenders register. Lisa Squire's daughter Libby was killed in Hull in 2019 by a prolific sex offender leaving Lisa heartbroken. The loophole that prevents pervs from being put on the register means those who commit indecent exposure can avoid being monitored by police. Pawel Relowicz, the vile sex offender who murdered Libby, had a history of indecent exposure. Evil police officer Wayne Couzens who murdered Sarah Everard in 2021 also had a history of indecent exposure. Ministers have been pushing for stronger legislation with mounting evidence showing those who commit indecent exposure go on to commit violent offences. A landmark Bill making sure offenders can't slip through the net is set to make its way back through the commons. Libby's mother, Lisa, branded the Bill Libby's Law Part One and told The Mirror: "It's a perfect legacy for Libby. "Her death was so preventable, it shouldn't have happened, but she's making a difference. "If we can learn from her death that's perfect, it makes it a bit less senseless." Current laws require prosecutors to prove an offender caused alarm or distress with their actions to get a conviction for exposure. I felt guilty for not making my daughter report indecent exposure - it could've saved her life, says Libby Squire's mum Commonly offenders are charged with outraging public decency instead which does not result in them being added to the sex offenders register and allows them to dodge police monitoring. Soon after Libby's killer Relowicz was arrested Lisa was told by cops that he had a history of committing sexual offences. The evil killer plead guilty to nine sexual offences unrelated to Libby's murder, including voyeurism and outraging public decency. Lisa said: "If more people had come forward and reported their experiences, and if police had been able to join the dots there might have been a different situation." Since the horror loss of her daughter Lisa has campaigned for victims to report non-contact sex offences to police, saying doing so will prevent more cases like her daughter's. 5 Lisa has urged victims to report non-contact offences 5 Libby was killed by a vile repeat sex offender Credit: PA:Press Association The distraught mum was shocked to learn that offenders charged with outraging public decency can avoid being put on the register. She said: "I never even imagined that they wouldn't be. When I found out they weren't I thought it was ridiculous. These are people that we should be watching." Lisa has demanded compulsory treatment programmes to stop those charged with indecent exposure's behaviour escalating to more violent crimes and called for jail terms for those convicted of non-contact sex offences like exposure and voyeurism. She reportedly believes her daughters death could have been prevented if more serious action was taken against vile Relowicz at an earlier stage. Lisa believes that lives could be saved with the loophole closed and has campaigned tirelessly to make that a reality. The Mirror reveal data showing the number of indecent exposure cases reported to police has skyrocketed since 2019. Data from 37 of the 43 police forces in England and Wales show a 15% rise in five years, while arrests have gone up by around 35%. Dame Diana Johnson, Labour's Policing Minister, told MPs last year that in five years almost 250 men found guilty of indecent exposure were later found guilty of rape. She told the Commons: "Indecent exposure and non-contact sexual offences are gateway crimes that are still not taken seriously enough." The Home Office has now commissioned research into the link between non-contact sex offences and more violent crimes. A National Police Chiefs' Council spokesman said: 'Sexual exposure is an incredibly serious crime which can be invasive and distressing for victims. "We have been working hard to improve our response to sexual exposure and other non-contact sexual offences." Justice Minister Alex Davies-Jones said: 'Exposure is a degrading and cowardly crime, which can often escalate into serious offending. "We're strengthening the law to bolster protection for victims, meaning offenders with a broader range of motivations, such as the intention to cause humiliation or for the purpose of sexual gratification, can be prosecuted - and added to the sex offender register where necessary. 'I am grateful to Libby's family, and other victims and survivors, who have bravely campaigned for change in this area.'

Mark, a TT veteran with 98 starts under his belt, miraculously managed to stay in control of his powerful BMW superbike. The speedster, from Midhurst, West Sussex, was airlifted to hospital after the smash earlier this month. He told The Sun: 'It's a bit of a miracle I stayed upright. 'It was a huge seagull - they're all massive on the Isle of Man - and it just shot up out of nowhere. 'I was doing 140 or 150mph so there was no way of avoiding it. I had to just grin and bear it. 'It felt like being hit by a cannonball. If it had hit me in the chest or the helmet, I'd be history. 'I was lucky that I didn't come off the bike.' Pictures posted on social media show his racing leathers drenched in bird guts. Mark, a self-employed electrician by day who now faces surgery to plate and pin the break, later joked: 'Parrett one. Seagull nil. Football rolls inches from Isle of Man TT legend riding at 130mph in frightening near miss 'It does go to show Parrett's are birds of prey after all.' He added: 'I've had enough laps around that place to know the worst thing you can do is panic. 'It's the nature of the circuit - you can hit all sorts of things.' Mark is aiming to return to the Isle of Man next year for his 100th start. He added: 'I'm getting too old to be doing this, but it's like an addiction. I will be back there next year, whatever happens.' A post on the Facebook page of Mark Parrott Racing read: 'A local seagull lay in wait for 'The Parrett' on the approach to the 33rd milestone and hit Mark on the left arm. 'He soon realised that it was rather serious when he tried to pull in the clutch and his left hand wasn't working.'
