The 3kg bird busted his lower arm, snapping one bone in two, and dislocating his wrist.
Mark, a TT veteran with 98 starts under his belt, miraculously managed to stay in control of his powerful BMW superbike.
The speedster, from Midhurst, West Sussex, was airlifted to hospital after the smash earlier this month.
He told The Sun: 'It's a bit of a miracle I stayed upright.
'It was a huge seagull - they're all massive on the Isle of Man - and it just shot up out of nowhere.
'I was doing 140 or 150mph so there was no way of avoiding it. I had to just grin and bear it.
'It felt like being hit by a cannonball. If it had hit me in the chest or the helmet, I'd be history.
'I was lucky that I didn't come off the bike.'
Pictures posted on social media show his racing leathers drenched in bird guts.
Mark, a self-employed electrician by day who now faces surgery to plate and pin the break, later joked: 'Parrett one. Seagull nil.

'It does go to show Parrett's are birds of prey after all.'
He added: 'I've had enough laps around that place to know the worst thing you can do is panic.
'It's the nature of the circuit - you can hit all sorts of things.'
Mark is aiming to return to the Isle of Man next year for his 100th start.
He added: 'I'm getting too old to be doing this, but it's like an addiction. I will be back there next year, whatever happens.'
A post on the Facebook page of Mark Parrott Racing read: 'A local seagull lay in wait for 'The Parrett' on the approach to the 33rd milestone and hit Mark on the left arm.
'He soon realised that it was rather serious when he tried to pull in the clutch and his left hand wasn't working.'

Mystery over body in car outside Gatwick as 'friends' ask locals questions

Residents living by Whittle Way, close to Gatwick Airport, have shared a major development since a man was found dead inside a white BMW at the start of this month Locals who live close to an industrial estate where a man was discovered dead inside a car say his friends have been seeking answers from the community. Police rushed to Northgate, Crawley, after a recovery driver came to collect the BMW and spotted a corpse in the backseat on June 6. His death allegedly prompted his friends to visit the scene and ask locals questions. ‌ Burger van worker Ibrahim Italil Cete said he spoke to a group of people claiming to be his friends. He says he had attempted to alert the authorities several times before the man was eventually found on Whittle Way. ‌ READ MORE: Everything we know as body found near Gatwick Airport in car 'abandoned for months' He was allegedly told that the man's uncle was on his way back from Norway to try and confirm his identity. 'Apparently he had mental health issues and would go off-grid quite often," Ibrahim told The Sun. The food worker said he reported the vehicle as abandoned on April 30 and had told motorway officers that the vehicle looked "suspicious", but they failed to act on it. Speaking about the moment the recovery worker had found his body, Ibrahim said: 'The person who found him came here first and told us to call the police. He was shaking. He said 'man, there is a dead body in there.'' Another local, who lives just two minutes away from the scene, explained that the road was popular with holidaymakers, due to it being situated so close to Gatwick Airport. Tia Green, 25, said the smell coming from the car was "horrendous". She added: "I'd say he was there for seven months. There was so much dust on the car, even on the tyres. It had been there so long.' ‌ It comes after residents had previously taken to Facebook and claimed that the man was living in the car. One person said the recovery worker "saw a man on the back seats, with a blanket over the front two seats to build a 'barrier' across as he was lying on the backseat - most likely was sleeping in the back". Another person added: "A recovery driver came this morning and smashed the back window to take the motor. As he did that he noticed the dead body on the back seats." A spokesman for Sussex Police said his death isn't being treated as suspicious. They said: 'Police were called to Whittle Way in Northgate, Crawly, at around 10.30am on Friday, 6 June, to reports of a body found in a vehicle. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the individual and establish the full circumstances of the situation.'

However, aside from his super weekend in California, Clark has endured a wretched run in the majors. His next-best result was a T33 at The Open a month after his US Open victory. But from his 15 appearances, he has failed to make the cut eight times - including last week at Oakmont for the 2025 US Open. READ MORE ON US OPEN PLAY HALTED US Open golf SUSPENDED due to dangerous conditions as players take cover Clark carded two four-over rounds of 76 on Thursday and Friday to miss out on the weekend action - and any prize money. His score of +8 saw him finish one shot outside of the cut line after bogeying the 18th hole in his second round. And it appears his frustration boiled over behind the scenes. According to Tron Carter of the No Laying Up podcast, Clark allegedly "desecrated" the locker room at Oakmont. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS He wrote: "Multiple sources confirming that the Blow Pig really got after it in the Oakmont locker room. "Super classy, desecrating one of the most historic spots in golf AND on the heels of his behavior at Quail Hollow. Eagle-eyed fans spot Rory McIlroy's 'unrepeatable' magic trick in furious fit of rage at US Open "Probably time to put him in the cooler for a few months." An accompanying photo appeared to show two panels of the locker doors damaged. Furious golf supporters were quick to lambast Clark for his reported behaviour. One said: "That's a historical locker room too id ban him from ever playing there again tbh." Another replied: "This is unacceptable anywhere. He's a guest of Oakmont. You don't do this ever." A third added: "Not even close to acceptable, for a pro or amateur. He should be suspended. Imagine being a guest at a club and doing that after the round." A fourth typed: "He should be suspended. This is ridiculous. The tour and the USGA should make statements strongly condemning the club throwing, profanity, and all the other antics that have become the norm in the professional game." 'COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE' A fifth responded: "Wyndham Clark should be banned from next year's US Open. Completely unacceptable behaviour." 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell, though, defended Clark. He posted on X: 'This is minimal [in] regards [to] what I've seen other players do. Players you would never expect. "Oakmont will test any player's mental fortitude. Seen it in person.' At last month's PGA Championship, Clark came under fire for mashing an advertising board by launching his driver in anger - breaking his club and only narrowly avoiding a marshal. A further social media user commented: "I've long supported Wyndham Clark, I gave him the benefit of the doubt at PGA Championship when he smashed the sign. "But this is unacceptable. This is a suspension and fine at minimum." And a final person tweeted: "If I did what @Wyndham_Clark did yesterday, I would get arrested. He shouldn't get out of this with some ChatGPT apology. Should be suspended and fined." JJ Spaun was crowned champion at Oakmont on Sunday night after the 120/1 underdog was the only player to finish under par. He sunk birdies on the final two holes - including a 65-foot monster putt - to deny Robert MacIntyre in dramatic fashion. 4 Clark broke his driver and the advertising board by launching his driver at the PGA Championship Credit: Sky Sports Golf
