Another big retail arrival has taken up residence at the ever-popular Liverpool One. Global apparel retailer Uniqlo has opened a big — 15,400 sq ft — store across two floors, showcasing the Japan retailer's full collection of LifeWear for men, women and kids.
It also includes the brand's premium linen range Blocktech, its smart range of water-resistant and windproof items, as well as its high-performing AiRism collection with lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics that adapt to diverse climates.
Located on the ground floor is a UTme! station where customers can create their own bespoke designs to print onto T-shirts and tote bags. Here, the retailer will showcase local partners who have created custom designs inspired by their local communities, exclusive to the Liverpool One store and available until the end of May.
Also located on the ground floor is the Re.Uniqlo Studio where customers can recycle, repair or remake favourite branded items. Customers will be able to personalise and add 'Scouse inspired' embroidery pieces
As part of the opening celebrations, Uniqlo is also partnering with several local businesses and organisations, 'reinforcing its commitment to Liverpool's thriving cultural scene'. These include Derek's Sandwich Shop.
Uniqlo currently has 21 stores in the UK with the brand continuing the expansion with further openings in Glasgow and Birmingham later this year.
