Region-focused Reynaers Middle East completes iconic project in Iraq
The project, which is located in Baghdad, features panoramic design that provides views of the Iraqi capital.
Meanwhile, it was implemented through close collaboration with Alumex Aluminium, Reynaers authorised fabricator in Iraq.
The World Heart Hotel and Mall, which is considered Baghdad's first luxury five-star hotel, utilises Reynaers' cutting-edge aluminium solutions like the Conceptwall 50 (CW50), EcoSystem 50 (ES50) windows, and the Concept Patio 130 (CP130) sliding system.

The CW50 is a versatile curtain wall facade and roof system that improves building speed while providing unlimited design flexibility and exceptional thermal performance to ensure the development meets the highest efficiency standards.
Meanwhile, the ES50 window and door solutions blend aesthetic sophistication with energy efficiency, featuring minimalistic designs and cleverly concealed hinges to elevate the visual appeal of the World Heart project while also contributing to significant energy savings.
In addition, the CP130 sliding system provides a versatile lift-and-slide solution, enhancing both functionality and elegance, with its superior quality-to-value ratio ensuring robust performance and reliability, making it especially suitable for diverse building requirements, which together showcase Reynaers' commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction sector.
It is worth noting that the project features 320 keys, including 285 exquisitely designed hotel rooms, 35 upscale suites, and 54 luxury apartments.
Reynaers Middle East, which is a subsidiary of Reynaers Aluminium, has its headquarters in Bahrain and it provides services to the GCC region in addition to Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq.

The card will be fully integrated with Qi Card's national infrastructure and mobile platform, and can be used worldwide where Mastercard is accepted. Kuwait Allows Visa-on-Arrival for GCC Residents
Foreign residents in GCC member states can now receive a visa on arrival when entering Kuwait, according to the Ministry of Interior. This new policy applies to holders of valid residency permits from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain. Previously, these travelers were required to secure an e-visa before departure. Kuwait International Airport confirmed that eligible GCC residents — except Iraqi nationals — may obtain a three-month tourist visa at the airport's visa counter. To qualify, travelers must work in approved professions such as doctors, engineers, journalists, pilots, managers, business owners, and other specified roles. They must also hold a valid passport, a GCC residency permit with more than six months' validity, a return ticket, and must not be on Kuwait's blacklist. Applicants are also required to register their address in Kuwait during the visa application process at the airport. The change takes immediate effect. In July 2025, Kuwait launched a nationwide e-visa platform covering various visa types, and a unified GCC tourist visa — allowing travel to all six member countries — is expected to be introduced soon.

Iraq, Syria discuss revival of Banias pipeline for oil exports

Iraq earlier dispatched a high-level delegation to Damascus in April to assess the feasibility of reviving the Iraq-Syria oil pipeline, a move Baghdad is counting on to diversify export routes amid expanding production capacity.
