
'Caring' mother, 78, killed when Jaguar ploughed into her Coventry home
Barbara Howard was inside her home in Lentons Lane, Covnetry, when the luxury car careered into her property on Thursday July 17.
The vehicle had been involved in a collision with a Volkswagen van at the junction of Shilton Lane and Lentons Lane before hitting Barbara's house, police said.
The mum was taken to University Hospital Coventry where she later died.
Barbara's family have released a statement remembering their 'best friend'.
They added: 'Caring, sharing, glamorous, and stunning, someone who loved life.
'Dancing mother of Debbie and Julie, our best friend was taken in the most horrific way. More Trending
'We love her to the moon and back.'
West Midlands Police said they are continuing to offer the family support as they appeal for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
A spokesman said: 'We would especially like to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam video from around the area at the time, as we look to establish exactly what happened.'
Both drivers were spoken to by officers at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Second man charged with murder of Kings Heath homeless man

Man seriously hurt in Handsworth stabbing
A man has been seriously injured in a suspected stabbing in Birmingham. Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Gibson Road, Handsworth, at just after 03:00 BST, West Midlands Police said.
