Arsenal are making their second appearance in the final, 18 years on from winning the competition when it was known as the UEFA's Women's Cup.
As part of a quadruple in 2007, Vic Akers' Gunners defeated Swedish outfit Umea 1-0 over two legs, Alex Scott scoring the only goal late in the first.
It remains the only time an English side have been winners – the only other time one has reached the final was when Chelsea did so in 2021, suffering a 4-0 loss to Barcelona.
Arsenal have made it back to the final as part of an impressive turnaround this season under Renee Slegers, who took charge – initially on an interim basis and then permanently – after boss Jonas Eidevall resigned in October.
Eidevall had overseen a 5-2 loss at Bayern Munich in first of the team's Group C matches. They would finish them with a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Germans and top of the pool, and subsequently produced second-leg fightbacks to get past Real Madrid in the quarter-finals and Lyon in the semis, the latter a stunning 4-1 win in France.

Saturday's contest is set to see a star of Arsenal's season go up against their old club in Mariona Caldentey.
The Spain international, recently named the Women's Super League 2024-25 player of the year and scorer of seven goals in the European campaign, joined last summer after 10 years with Barca, during which time she won a multitude of trophies including three Champions League titles.
Arsenal also have former Barca defender Laia Codina in their ranks.

Barca, whose squad features the likes of double Ballon d'Or winners Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas, are heading into their sixth final and fifth in a row, having won the last two to add to their maiden success in 2021. When the sides met in the 2021-22 group stage, the Catalans won 4-1 and 4-0.
This season Pere Romeu's side opened their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 loss at Manchester City, but they have been in ruthless form since, thrashing Wolfsburg 10-2 and Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate in the last eight and semi-finals respectively.
When Arsenal triumphed against Umea in 2007, Slegers was a teenager coming towards the end of a brief spell with the club's academy, while her current assistant Kelly Smith was a prolific Gunners forward.
Smith, who scored 125 goals in 144 appearances across three spells as an Arsenal player, was key in the quadruple and netted twice in the European semi-final against Brondby – but had to sit out the final due to suspension.

Manchester United should try to agree a stunning swap deal with Aston Villa involving Marcus Rashford, according to Old Trafford hero Wes Brown. Rashford spent the second-half of last season on loan at Villa Park and has been linked with a permanent move to the Midlands club. Ruben Amorim sanctioned Rashford's departure from Manchester United and is unlikely to offer the England international an olive branch this summer. Rashford is reportedly 'dreaming' of a move to Barcelona after coming close to joining the La Liga giants during the January transfer window. With Aston Villa likely to renew talks with Manchester United, Brown has advised his former club to enquire into the possibility of signing Ollie Watkins as part of the deal. Amorim is determined to sign a new No. 9 this summer and Watkins, who has scored 87 goals in 223 appearances for Villa, could be a cheaper option than Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko. Watkins was heavily linked with a move away from Villa Park in January after Arsenal made a surprise £40m bid but the 29-year-old ended up staying put. United were keen to sign Liam Delap before he joined Chelsea for £30m but Brown believes Watkins would be an even better option than the former Ipswich Town forward. 'Manchester United need a striker who has goals and although Liam Delap might not get you 20 just yet, he is a great player and has all the attributes to be a success,' Brown told BoyleSports. 'Personally, having Rasmus Hojlund up front on his own looked very difficult for him, he got a lot of stick and looked to have no back up whatsoever. 'He cannot be left in that position again because it's not fair on him, Chido Obi came in who is another young player, but United have to get a striker this summer. 'Marcus Rashford will be a difficult permanent signing for Aston Villa, as there are contractual obligations and a certain level of money that he wants. 'Therefore, I'm not sure it will be beneficial for Villa to sign Marcus or if it is even a possibility. However, one thing is for sure, Rashford will bring value and talent to any team he is playing for. 'Signing Rashford is a lot easier to say than to actually get done, but if he did sign for Villa, he would be fantastic for them as he has been since January.' Speaking to Metro 'Delap would've been a good player for United, but I'd go for experience. Manchester United need a striker and Ollie Watkins has shown us that he can do that in the Premier League. 'Would Aston Villa swap Watkins for Marcus Rashford? I'm not sure because they still trust Watkins and would need to find a big replacement. I hope they can sort it out in a way that everybody gets what they want. 'For Marcus personally, he just needs to get his head down and play some football now. Man Utd transfer target Viktor Gyokeres ‘furious at Sporting after U-turn on £84million release clause'
VIKTOR GYOKERES is fuming at Sporting Lisbon after their U-turn on his release clause, it has been claimed. The Sweden striker is in incredibly high demand following a second straight stellar season with the Portuguese giants. 3 3 Gyokeres is understood to have reached a gentleman's agreement with the club at the start of the season, which would see them accept a fee less than the £84million release clause in his contract. The 27-year-old was told he could leave the Portuguese capital for an overall fee of £59million, with £51m of that figure being paid up front. But Portuguese newspaper Record claims Sporting have had a change of heart and won't part with Gyokeres' services unless they receive £67m. Gyokeres, who is wanted by Manchester United, is reportedly irate with the club's U-turn and feels like they have betrayed him. The Swede is ready to move on to pastures new after two goal-ridden seasons, which have also caught the eye of United's Premier League rivals Arsenal. He scored a whopping 54 goals and provided 13 assists in 52 appearances last season, a haul which took his club tally to 97 strikes in 102 outings. Should United stump up the £67m, Gyokeres will be reunited with Red Devils gaffer Ruben Amorim. 3 Amorim, under whom Gyokeres flourished, took charge of United last November following the club's sacking of Erik ten Hag. Despite being eager to leave Lisbon, Gyokeres admits he's not sure what the future holds. He said late last month: "It's football, I'm still here. "I don't know what's going to happen. Nobody can predict the future."
