Bianca Censori's subtle warning revealed hidden struggles with Kanye West before 'divorce'

Express Tribune14-02-2025

Kanye West and Bianca Censori have reportedly split, just days after the rapper's controversial social media outbursts.
Reports claim Bianca, 30, will receive a $5 million settlement. The breakup comes just ten days after her revealing Grammys outfit sparked concern among experts.
Friends and family allegedly tried to intervene, fearing Bianca had become Kanye's 'puppet.' Psychologists suggest her hypersexualized style may indicate control rather than self-expression.
Dr. Louise Goddard-Crawley noted: "Bianca Censori's increasingly revealing outfits have sparked debate, with many questioning whether this is an act of self-expression or something more complex. Reports of Kanye West allegedly imposing 'rules' on her, alongside concerns from family and friends, raise the possibility that this is more than just a bold fashion choice."
She added: "In relationships where one partner holds significant influence—whether through status, wealth, or sheer personality—the other can find themselves adapting, sometimes unconsciously, to maintain approval."
"If Kanye does have a strong say in how Bianca presents herself, dressing in an extreme way might not be a personal choice but a way to maintain his approval or avoid conflict. It's common in controlling relationships for one person's preferences to dictate the other's behaviour, sometimes to the point where their identity changes," Dr. Goddard-Crawley said.
Bianca, once a private architect, now exists in a world where controversy fuels attention. She may be adopting hypersexualization as part of a new identity, possibly under Kanye's influence.
"Kanye has a history of styling and reshaping his partners, with Kim Kardashian famously recalling how he revamped her entire wardrobe. If Bianca sees herself as his latest muse, she may feel pressure - conscious or not - to embody his artistic vision, even if it's at odds with her past self," the psychologist said.
Relationship coach Francine Kaye expressed similar concerns, pointing out Bianca's detached body language at the Grammys. She observed: "It's plausible that Censori's attire at the Grammys was a mix of personal expression and West's flair for publicity - something they both undeniably achieved. However, what struck me most was how apprehensive and almost detached she appeared during the photography session as if she were physically present but emotionally elsewhere. This raises concerns about her personal comfort and true autonomy in making such a bold 'fashion' choice."
At the 67th Grammys, Bianca's sheer dress caused backlash, while Kanye remained fully covered in black. Some claim he dictates her wardrobe, diet, and workout routine, enforcing strict rules on his second wife.

Elizabeth Weber reemerges after decades for Billy Joel's HBO documentary

Elizabeth Weber, Billy Joel's first wife and longtime former manager, made headlines this week by publicly speaking for the first time in 43 years. The 82-year-old appeared at the premiere of And So It Goes, HBO's new two-part documentary on the music icon, during the 2025 Tribeca Festival in New York. Weber, often referred to as Joel's muse and the inspiration behind several of his classic songs, attended the event with her son Sean Small. Reflecting on her eight-year marriage to Joel, she told People, 'It was great then, it's great whenever I think about it, and it's great now.' The documentary dives deep into Billy Joel's early struggles, creative rise, and personal pain — much of which centered around Elizabeth. The two had a controversial beginning, with Elizabeth initially married to Joel's bandmate Jon Small. Despite the rocky start, she and Joel married in 1973, with Weber becoming a strategic force behind his success. She reportedly pushed him to release 'Just the Way You Are' — a decision that won him two Grammys. Weber also inspired iconic songs such as 'She's Always a Woman' and 'The Stranger.' However, their marriage ended in the early 1980s amid Joel's growing substance issues and a near-fatal motorcycle accident. Now, re-entering public life, Weber says she joined the project after encouragement from her granddaughters and co-director Susan Lacy. Notably absent was Joel, 75, who is recovering from normal pressure hydrocephalus. According to Lacy, he is undergoing physical therapy and is expected to recover fully. Weber's return offers rare insight into a pivotal yet misunderstood chapter of Billy Joel's career and personal life.

Kanye West reignites controversy by dragging Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar in latest online rant

Kanye West reignited controversy this week by criticising Kendrick Lamar over Taylor Swift dancing to his track "Not Like Us" during the 2025 Grammy Awards. In a recent post on X, West questioned how Swift's dance aligns with hip-hop culture, suggesting Lamar may have been uncomfortable with the moment. "I know that Kendrick did not like Taylor Swift dancing to the A minor line. How is that 'culture?'" West posted. Ye questions how Taylor Swift dancing to Not Like Us at the Grammys is considered 'the culture' — Akademiks TV (@AkademiksTV) May 12, 2025 The remarks triggered widespread reaction online, with users expressing frustration over West's continued focus on past events. One commenter wrote, 'Why still talking about the Grammys and why worry about if Taylor Swift was dancing? Old news get over it.' The post marks the latest in a series of public critiques from West, who previously said in March, "I HAAAAAATED Not Like Us," signalling his disapproval of the song's popularity and message. Lamar, who has not publicly responded, collaborated with Swift in 2015 on a remix of her hit "Bad Blood." This comes as West also faces backlash for releasing a video for his song "Heil Hitler," which has sparked criticism across music platforms. The track includes highly controversial lyrics and has been pulled from Spotify, SoundCloud and other streaming services.
