Right now Nintendo has Switch game deals from $3. This includes some massive indie hits like Enter the Gungeon on sale for $3, as well as some of Nintendo's finest like Super Mario Odyssey on sale for $39.
However, don't totally discount Prime Day's offerings. Physical collectors can shop Switch game deals from $19 at Amazon. One of my favorite deals is Sonic X Shadow Generations on sale for $29 at Amazon.
My favorite Switch game deals are listed below! Also see our Nintendo Switch 2 restocks live blog to score yourself a new console, and make sure to stay tuned to our Prime Day deals live blog for all the best sales as they come in.
Super Meat Boy was one of the first indie game franchises to take the world by storm, so it's awesome to see this little guy make a comeback on Nintendo Switch. You'll need to navigate a gauntlet of brutally tough action platforming levels and boss battles, with new procedurally generated endless runner stages giving this entry in the series its name.
Try your best to beat 200 fast paced levels in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Each course is physics based, meaning you'll need to roll, tilt and turn your character with precision to make it through. You can play each level alone or with friends through local or online multiplayer, and there are even customization options to dress up your favorite monkey in style.
A terrific return to form for the medium's most famous hedgehog. Sonic Superstars must rank as one of the finest series entries in the iconic franchise over the past 15 years. It wisely takes Sonic and chums back to their 16-bit platforming roots, delivering old school speedster thrills that will any gamer who ever owned a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive will love.
Sonic X Shadow Generations combines a remaster of 2011's Sonic Generations, a love letter to the Blue Blur that remains a fan-favorite to this day, with a new Shadow-focused campaign. It's a strong package and perfectly timed with the theatrical release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie.
A full remake of the original Super Mario RPG released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), this role-playing game sees Mario, Bowser, Peach and some new friends embark on an adventure to repair a wish-granting star. With updated graphics, gameplay and new cinematics, Super Mario RPG has never looked (or played) this well, but the original game's charms have been carefully retained as well.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the most popular Switch games available. Even years after its launch it continues to dominate the best-sellers chart. This means any form of discount is pretty rare, but you can currently save on this must-have family-friendly hit. And if you want even more courses, be sure to pick up the Booster Pack DLC that adds 48 new tracks including fan-favorite picks.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership follows Mario and Luigi on Shipshape Island, blending RPG combat, puzzles, and exploration across themed islands. Players team up with quirky characters, using Bros. Moves and Attacks that combine nostalgia with modern mechanics and charming humor.
While our Pokémon Scarlet and Violet review noted that this game had some performance issues, there's still plenty of fun to be had here. So if you've been holding off on trying out Game Freak's take on open-world Pokémon, it's now seen a discount. Travel to the sprawling new region of Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet to battle gym leaders, uncover new Pokémon and, of course, catch 'em all...
Ultimate by name, ultimate by nature. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brings together every single fighter in the franchise's history for a showdown of epic proportions. This hugely popular party game is now on sale.
This side-scrolling adventure is a wonderfully refreshing spin on the classic Mario formula. Venturing to the Flower Kingdom, you'll discover stage-altering Wonder Flowers which can warp levels, create new platforming challenges and even turn Mario into an elephant. Playable in up to four-player co-op, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a platforming marvel for the entire family and one of the very best Nintendo Switch games you can play now.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the highly-anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild, and it doesn't disappoint. Step back into the world of Hyrule, and embark on Link's most perilous quest to date. You'll need to master new abilities such as Ultrahand and Fuse in order to unravel the mystery of what happened to Princess Zelda and defeat the sinister Ganondorf.

The Switch 2 had a very good launch month
We already knew that Nintendo got off to a strong start with the Switch 2's launch, and now that the console has been out for a bit, we're getting a clearer picture on exactly how it performed. According to market research firm Circana, Nintendo's new console 'debuted as the fastest selling video game hardware device in US history,' selling 1.6 million units in June. That topped the previous launch month record held by the PS4, which moved 1.1 million units in November of 2023. Unsurprisingly, Circana says that the Switch 2 was the best-selling console in the US in June overall, in terms of both units sold and dollars raked in. And overall the launch buoyed what the firm says is 'a record high for hardware spending' in the month of June at $978 million. The previous record was $608 million in 2008. As for games, it should come as no surprise that most Switch 2 owners also picked up a copy of Mario Kart World, which was the only major first-party exclusive for the console until Donkey Kong Bananza launched earlier this month. According to Circana, a whopping 82 percent of those who bought a Switch 2 also got a copy of World, either via a console bundle or buying a physical copy of the game. And in terms of accessories, the Switch 2 Pro Controller had a 32 percent attach rate, according to the research firm. Of course, the initial excitement around the Switch 2's launch suggested it would get off to a strong start. The challenge will be to keep that momentum going, something Nintendo is attempting to do by pacing out its game releases. While World and Bananza are out now, the rest of the year includes the likes of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3 Episode 3 Recap: Engagement Reveal Ends In Chaos
Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Belly (Lola Tung) in THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY Photo: Erika Doss © ... More AMAZON CONTENT SERVICES LLC Wedding bells are ringing, but not everyone is celebrating. Last week's two-episode Season 3 premiere brought heartbreak, lots of drama and a surprise proposal that left many fans reeling. The next new episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty is now streaming on Prime Video, so here's a full recap of everything that went down. As a quick refresher for what happened last week, Belly is finishing up her junior year at Finch College and preparing for a magical summer in Cousins. Jeremiah is supposed to graduate but can't due to missing credits, meaning he'll have to be a super senior and take classes in the fall. This complicates Belly's plans after she learns she's been accepted into the Paris study abroad program for the fall of her senior year. Belly and Jeremiah's relationship has had its ups and downs over the past four years, but nothing could have prepared viewers for what happened next. At a frat party, Belly overhears a girl named Lacie claiming she hooked up with Jair in Cabo during Spring Break. Technically, Belly and Jair were on a break at the time after an argument — but they got back together as soon as he returned, and he never mentioned that he had slept with someone else. Belly breaks up with Jeremiah and struggles to come to terms with how he could have done something so hurtful, even though he believed they were no longer together. But her feelings begin to shift after Steven gets into a serious car accident. Jeremiah waits overnight at the hospital while keeping his distance. After Steven wakes up from his coma, Belly and Jelly reconcile. He proposes to her outside the hospital and she says yes. The engagement news will likely come as a shock to everyone — especially Belly's ex and Jeremiah's brother, Conrad, who is studying to become a doctor at Stanford. He had planned to visit Cousins for his mom's dedication but backs out after securing a coveted summer clinical residency alongside his pre-med friend, Agnes. However, the residency doesn't last long: Conrad gets himself fired after refusing to take a break upon hearing about Steven's accident, which leads to him mislabeling blood vials. Spoilers ahead for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 1. Episode 3 begins with Jeremiah and Belly in post-engagement bliss. He finally gets down on one knee and officially proposes with a tiny ring in his dorm room. Jeremiah tries to keep their engagement a secret until the weekend in Cousins — until he starts shouting it from his dorm window for everyone to hear. Belly breaks the engagement news to Taylor, and her best friend does not take it well. When Belly reminds her that she was the one who encouraged her to forgive Jeremiah after the cheating incident, Taylor clarifies that she meant talk to him, not get married. Still, Taylor reluctantly promises to keep the engagement a secret. As for Taylor, she's still heartbroken over Steven ending their situationship in the previous episode. He's now recovering from the accident at home, secretly squeezing in work sessions despite being on bed rest. Agnes checks in with Conrad after he gets kicked out of the summer program. He's considering applying for another position at Garth Lab, this time working in research rather than with patients. Meanwhile, Belly returns home after finishing her junior year. During the car ride, her dad suspects she might be onto him about hooking up with her mom, but in reality, she's lost in thought about the engagement she's hiding. Conrad doesn't want to go to Cousins for his mom's dedication, but Agnes urges him to face his feelings. When he tells her she doesn't know what it's like, she responds, 'Do you mean I have no idea what it's like to be in unrequited love with someone who's never going to feel the same way back?' — hinting at her romantic feelings for him. She explains that she stuck it out and worked through it, and that's exactly what Conrad needs to do to normalize the situation with Jeremiah and Belly. Taylor visits Belly and apologizes for how she acted earlier at the coffee shop. Belly asks her to be her maid of honor, and she accepts. Taylor even pulls out an old scrapbook they made filled with their dream wedding inspiration. She tells Belly that she's going to need her, because once Laurel finds out, it's going to be a full-fledged apocalypse. Belly meets Jeremiah at the dedication at the women's shelter and tells him her dad won't be able to make it, which is a bummer, since she wanted her whole family there when they shared the news. Conrad took Agnes advice and shows up at the dedication, taking Belly and Jeremiah by surprise. She and Jeremiah decide to hold off on announcing their engagement and keep the day focused on Susannah. But Belly changes her mind. During dinner with their families, Adam and Laurel go around sharing their kids' accomplishments and bright futures. When Adam refers to Jeremiah as a super senior and downplays his future plans, Belly steps in and says that Jeremiah actually does have big plans — and so does she. In fact, they have big plans together. 'We're getting married… in August,' Belly announces. Laurel immediately asks if it's a joke. Adam turns to Jeremiah and demands to know what he's dragged Belly into, while Steven asks if they're being serious right now. Laurel then asks if her daughter is pregnant, and Belly and Jeremiah say no. Laurel tells Belly that if they wanted to take the next step — like moving in together or fostering a cat — that would've made more sense, but marriage is too much. Adam tells Jeremiah he hopes he doesn't think he's getting his mother's ring, and Jeremiah replies that he didn't expect it. Conrad is basically just sitting there in shock, while Laurel abruptly cancels the entire dinner… just as the seafood tower arrives. Belly and Jeremiah get up and walk out of the restaurant together. Jeremiah says they'll come around (they have to, right?). Laurel pulls Belly into the car, and everyone leaves separately. Conrad is the last to leave the restaurant, his face filled with confusion, maybe regret, and definitely shock. They knew their parents' reactions would be intense, but did they expect the announcement of their marriage plans to blow up this badly? That said, their families' concerns aren't unwarranted: they're both young, Belly hasn't explored life outside of the Fisher brothers and Jeremiah still needs to get his life on track. It will also be interesting to see more of Conrad's reaction in the next episode, because this definitely wasn't the definition of 'exposure therapy' Agnes had in mind. The next episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 airs on Wednesday, July 30. Check out the full release schedule below.
