
Sidr seedling distribution begins in Sana'a's al-Husn district
Sana'a - Saba:
The distribution of Sidr seedlings commenced on Monday in al-Husn district of Sana'a governorate, as part of a larger project to plant 100,000 seedlings across the governorate.
District director Khalil Abu Alama stated that this initiative aims to expand Sidr tree cultivation due to its economic benefits, urging community participation for its advantages like bee pastures and soil protection.
Abdul Razzaq al-Makhrafi of the Eastern Sector Agricultural Cooperative Association noted that 2,000 seedlings will be distributed to farmers in the district, with 10,000 allocated to the sector's five districts for planting in valleys and along waterways.
The launch was attended by local officials and farmers.

Launching second phase of Sidr seedling distribution in Sana'a's districts
Sana'a - Saba: The Musanna Nursery in Manakha District of Sana'a province launched on Wednesday the second phase of distributing and transporting Sidr seedlings to the districts of Safan in the western sector, New Sana'a, and Bilad Rus in the southern sector. This phase includes 23,000 Sidr seedlings as part of the local authority's plan to implement a project planting 100,000 Sidr trees across all districts of the province. The project is carried out under the directives and support of the Governor and the supervision of the agricultural sector in Sana'a. Khalid Al-Sawari, Deputy Agricultural Officer of the District and Director of the Nursery, explained that the nursery has worked over the past months to produce more than 100,000 Sidr seedlings, along with other diverse plant varieties. He noted that the first phase included the distribution of 26,000 seedlings to districts in the southern, western, and eastern sectors. Al-Sawari praised the attention and support of the province's leadership and the agricultural sector for the Manakha Nursery, which has been a key step in improving production and providing all necessary agricultural requirements, including diverse seedlings. Sidr seedlings disruption starts in Khawlan district, Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba: The distribution of Sidr seedlings was launched on Monday in the Khawlan District of Sana'a Governorate as part of a project to plant 100,000 seedlings across the governorate's districts. At the inauguration, the director of the district, Raad Al-Jamli, explained that 2,000 Sidr seedlings will be distributed to development associations and development knights in the district's sub-districts. He urged everyone to participate, pay attention, and educate community members about planting seedlings, given their numerous benefits, such as bee pastures and soil protection and cohesion against erosion. He pointed out that the inauguration comes within the framework of the governorate's plan to expand the cultivation of Sidr trees in various villages, regions, and sub-districts, given their economic returns. Meanwhile, the directorate's agricultural official, Nabil Jaafar, called on development associations in the districts and Fursan Al-Tanmia to take the initiative to receive seedlings, educate the community about their importance, and plant them in valleys and along stream banks to use them as a food source for bees and pastures for livestock, contributing to the expansion of vegetation cover and increasing green space. The inauguration was attended by the heads of the Border Association, Hamid Al-Hadi, and the Green Association, Muhammad Al-Jamali, the directorate's coordinator of the Binyan Development Association, and local figures.
