Iran's next war with Israel will be final one – RT source (EXCLUSIVE)

Russia Today14 hours ago

Iran's next military conflict with Israel will be the 'last' one for the Jewish state, as Tehran now understands its arch-enemy's weak points, an anonymous source in the Islamic Republic has exclusively told RT. They also claimed that Iran still has numerous advanced missiles in its stocks, which can penetrate Israeli air defenses.
Israel attacked Iran earlier this month, alleging that Tehran was nearing completion of a nuclear bomb. Aside from targeting Iran's nuclear and military facilities, the Israeli airstrikes killed hundreds of people and a number of senior military commanders as well as scientists believed to be involved in the country's nuclear program.
On June 22, the US joined the bombing campaign by striking three Iranian nuclear sites, including uranium enrichment facilities in Natanz and Fordow.
Tehran, which denies pursuing a military nuclear program, retaliated with a barrage of kamikaze drones and missiles, striking both Israeli territory and the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
The 12-day war ended in a US-brokered ceasefire, which has so far held.
An 'informed source in Tehran' reached out to RT on Monday, saying that 'Iran will make the next war with Israel its last war.' The unnamed person stated that during the latest escalation with Israel, Iran had 'found the [Israeli] regime's weak point.'
They further claimed that the Islamic Republic still has 'tens of thousands' of 'new generation missiles,' and would 'fire at least hundreds of missiles at Israel daily,' in case of a new military confrontation.
According to the source, the Iranian authorities have 'unprecedented social support' from the population at home, as well as Iranians living abroad, to use a 'historic opportunity to permanently neutralize the Israeli regime's threat'.
They insisted that while the Islamic Republic's leadership is well aware of the fact that the US would likely come to Israel's rescue, should it once again engage Iran militarily, Tehran 'will overcome this challenge.'
Commenting on Iran's retaliatory strikes against both Israel and the US, the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed that Tehran's military response had 'practically knocked out and crushed' Israel. According to the senior cleric, 'the Zionist regime would [have been] completely destroyed,' if not for the US intervention.
In recent days, US President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with more strikes if Washington concludes that it continues to pursue its nuclear program.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has similarly not ruled out further strikes against Iran.

Syria could drop demand that Israel return the Golan Heights

Former warlord Ahmad al-Sharaa, who seized power in Syria last year, may abandon the country's claim to sovereignty over the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in exchange for normalized ties with West Jerusalem, according to a report by Lebanese media. Israel captured a large portion of the 1,800 square kilometer region of Syria's Quneitra Governorate during the 1967 war and effectively annexed it in 1981. Amid the turmoil during al-Sharaa's rise to power, the IDF seized additional territory. The IDF has also carried out multiple airstrikes against Syrian troops loyal to the current government, which West Jerusalem said were intended to protect the local Druze population, an ethnoreligious minority community which inhabits the contested region. Lebanese broadcaster LBCI reported Monday that the two countries could normalize relations as part of a broad agreement. Under the proposed deal, Israel would recognize al-Sharaa's legitimacy, withdraw troops from areas seized since his December takeover, and agree to Syria's military presence near its borders with Israel and Jordan, with certain restrictions. In exchange, 'Israel is expected to secure full sovereignty' over the Golan Heights, LBCI said, citing sources familiar with Syrian affairs. The report added that internal hardliner opposition, including from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham – the jihadist group formerly led by al-Sharaa – could derail the effort. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said Monday that Israel will maintain control of the Golan Heights under any future peace arrangement with Syria. Al-Sharaa has sought international recognition since ousting President Bashar Assad. Under former President Barack Obama, the United States aimed to remove Assad through a combination of sanctions and covert support for anti-government armed groups labeled 'moderate rebels.' On Monday, President Donald Trump lifted most US sanctions on Syria in order to facilitate the flow of foreign aid for the country's reconstruction.

Iran warns Ukraine of ‘consequences' over recent comments

Tehran has summoned Ukraine's charge d'affaires and delivered a formal protest over remarks by Ukrainian officials in support of the recent US-Israeli attack on the country. The move was announced by Iran's Foreign Ministry on Monday. Earlier this month, Israel attacked Iran, claiming that Tehran was nearing completion of a nuclear bomb. Washington later also joined the bombing campaign. Iran denied the allegations and retaliated. The 12-day war ended in a US-brokered ceasefire last week, which has so far been observed. In a statement on its official website, the ministry denounced what it called 'unjustified comments made by some Ukrainian officials regarding the Zionist regime's and American aggression against Iran.' 'By supporting the military aggression of the Zionist regime, Ukrainian officials have in fact ignored Ukraine's international legal obligations regarding respect for the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and the four Geneva Conventions,' Shahram Farsai, the head of the First Eurasian Department, told the Ukrainian envoy. The Ukrainian diplomat reportedly assured Iranian officials that the protest would be conveyed to Kiev without delay. Iranian authorities warned of 'consequences' if what they described as repeated 'hostile and provocative actions' continued. The Iranian Foreign Ministry did not name specific Ukrainian officials or statements. However, during the 12-day war, Kiev officially condemned Iran's June 23 missile strike on the US Al-Udeid air base in Qatar. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry claimed that Tehran was closely cooperating with Moscow and that they were jointly 'destabilizing the Middle East and Europe.' In an interview with Sky News last week, Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky also described Kiev's relations with Tehran as 'very complicated' and criticized Iran for supporting Russia. Zelensky expressed support for the US-Israeli strike campaign, calling it 'a powerful and correct move.' Iran and Moscow have repeatedly stressed that their growing cooperation is not aimed against third parties and is intended to ensure peace and stability and to maintain their independence and sovereignty.
