She also made history as the first WNBA player to notch 20 rebounds in three consecutive games, all while setting a new single-season record for rebounds per game with 13.1.

On May 2, in Chicago's first preseason game ahead of this upcoming season, Reese posted 15 points and 10 rebounds in just 17 minutes against the Brazlian National Team.
Additionally, Reese is currently fourth on the oddsboard to win Defensive Player of the Year at FanDuel (+2000), sitting behind last year's MVP A'ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

DraftKings, Circa Sports win Missouri mobile gambling licenses: What to know, what's next
The Missouri Gaming Commission has announced its selection of the companies that will receive for the state's two available direct mobile sports betting licenses. In a press release on Friday, the commission said it awarded the state's lone two untethered sportsbook licenses to DraftKings and Circa Sports. That means the companies can operate independently in the state without needing to first partner with a casino or sports team. "The Commission considered many factors before the two applicants were chosen," Missouri Gaming Commission Chairman Jan Zimmerman said. "It was a difficult decision, but the Commission is only able to grant twolicenses." Gambling company FanDuel was not awarded an untethered license despite contributing millions to the campaign to legalize sports betting in the state. In response, FanDuel announced it has entered into a new market access agreement with soccer club St. Louis CITY SC. What's the difference between tethered and untethered? Missouri offers two types of sports betting licenses – untethered and tethered. With untethered licenses, sportsbooks can operate in Missouri independently and are able to keep 100% of their revenue, less a 10% state tax on gross gaming revenue. Meanwhile, a tethered license requires sportsbooks to partner with either a Missouri-based casino or a Missouri-based professional sports team. Companies also have to share their revenue with their market access partner, and are subjected to the same 10% gross gaming revenue tax. The deadline for tethered license applications is Sept. 12. Is sports betting legal in Missouri? After voters narrowly approved Amendment 2 during last year's general elections, Missouri became the 39th state to legalize sports betting. This added a constitutional amendment allowing both in-person and online sports wagering. Although sports betting is technically legal, it has yet to be implemented. Sports betting will truly go into effect once the state's gaming commission finishes setting up regulations, as well as grants licenses to participating sports betting operators. When will sports betting be legal in Missouri? According to the Missouri Gaming Commission, sports wagering is officially set to launch in Missouri on Dec. 1. Fourteen sportsbooks are expected to be operational in the state by that time. ESPN star Stephen A Smith rips Browns rookie for 'very dumb' comments about media
ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith ripped Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel after the rookie took a shot at the media following the team's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Gabriel's initial remarks about "entertainers" and "competitors" during the game on Saturday were initially thought to be about Shedeur Sanders. However, he clarified during the postgame press conference that the remarks were about the media. Smith said on "First Take" he knew the comments weren't about Sanders. Still, he called Gabriel's comments about the media "stupid." "I never believed he was talking about Shedeur Sanders. I totally believed him when he said he was talking about the media. I wanna get that out the way first," Smith said. "I think when you heard the comparisons, I think the comparisons were emanating from the media more than anybody else. … Having said that, Dillon Gabriel, respectfully, it was stupid. A very dumb comment to make. "First of all, in every walk of life far beyond the parameters of the football field people are competing. We compete here on television. You compete with radio shows. You compete on Wall Street. You compete on Madison Avenue. Everything, especially in America as it pertains to a capitalistic society, involves competition. To the victor goes the spoils. Jimmy Johnson said it best, 'I will be very, very consistent in treating you as inconsistently as possible. Those who produce get treated differently than those who don't.' What he said echoes the mentality of all of America, practically and most certainly, the world as we see things being globalized more and more every day." Smith said, to him, the comment was a reverberation from the pressure Gabriel was feeling in his quarterback battle with Sanders. He warned the former Oregon Ducks star that he better be prepared for the increased level of scrutiny coming his way. "It was a stupid, idiotic, immature comment because clearly you were feeling the heat because a lot of people were talking about how Shedeur should be QB No. 2. But I know he wasn't talking about Shedeur Sanders," Smith added. "He was talking about the media. But here's the problem – you've now heightened the level of scrutiny coming your way because the media, including myself, heard what you said. "So, in other words, 'it's entertainment – it's not competition.' Really? So, when you go out there and you compete like trash, because you will have days when you look like that, we're going to remember those comments and we're going to remember the shot that you took at the fourth estate, which is the media institution." Gabriel was 13-of-18 passing with 143 yards and an interception. The Browns named Joe Flacco the Week 1 starter and now the battle is on for the backup spot.
