SB19 Owns 20% Of A Billboard Chart with 'Dungka!' and 'Dam'
SB19's 'Dungka!' debuts at No. 7 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, giving the group ... More another top 10 hit from Simula at Wakas. SB19 has been one of the hottest musical acts in the Philippines for several years now, and certainly among the top-performing commercially. While the boy band began expanding outside the Asian nation with its past project, the last few months have been especially significant, as the outfit's new short album Simula at Wakas shows that the misicians have absolutely developed an audience in Western markets, such as the United States.
Another single spun off from the band's new EP has not only become a commercial success in America, but a top 10 smash for the vocal troupe – another one.
'Dungka!' debuts on the World Digital Song Sales chart this week. The cut launches at No. 7 on the purchase-centric tally. SB19 scores the top start of the week on the 10-spot ranking, and the Filipino boy band's latest focus track is one of only two new arrivals this time around. The other, 'Will Ye Go, Lassie Go,' is credited to Lola Kirke, Peter Dreams, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden and Jack O'Connell, all of whom are actors (and singers) in the blockbuster movie Sinners. That tune enters at No. 10, in last place.
This frame, SB19 fills a pair of positions on the World Digital Song Sales list. As 'Dungka!' starts at No. 7, the first single taken from Simula at Wakas, 'Dam,' kicks off its third week on the ranking, reentering at No. 4. Earlier this year, 'Dam' became the group's first champion on this Billboard tally.
SB19 first appeared on the World Digital Song Sales chart in 2023, making history when 'Gento' arrived. That tune spent just one frame at No. 8, earning the group an initial top 10 bestseller.
This week, SB19 claims 20% of all the spots on the World Digital Song Sales ranking. The Filipino male vocal troupe is the only non-solo musical act to occupy more than one position.
Soloists Jack O'Connell, Brian Dunphy, and Darren Holden — actors and singers from Sinners — also fill two slots. As 'Will Ye Go, Lassie Go' debuts, 'Rocky Road to Dublin' is also still present on the tally. The latter tune opened in third place last frame and now climbs to No. 2.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Should Get Its Most Important App Soon
Switch 2 The Nintendo Switch 2 is out and has sold millions of copies already. Its game roster is mostly reprised hits, with only a few truly new entries (Mario Kart World), but owners also want the handheld to be able to do more than just play games. As it stands, there is no YouTube app on the Nintendo Switch 2, mirroring the issue that the Switch 1 had for a long while. The original Switch was launched on March 3, 2017 and it did not get the much-requested YouTube app until November 8, 2018, over a year later. Nintendo and Google are apparently both trying to avoid that kind of lengthy wait this time around. The YouTube team app responded to a fan asking about the issue, and got a response: I'm not sure a list of other devices that play YouTube is helpful here. The timeline here is 'soon,' which I take to mean less than a year like we saw with the Switch 1. I am amazed that Nintendo has been making this console for probably half a decade and once again it launched without key dedicated video apps, YouTube included. I'm not clear on how they can get CDPR to tireless work on making Cyberpunk 2077 work well on the Switch but they can't figure out how to get YouTube or Hulu on the system for launch. It's bizarre. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Right now you can transfer the old YouTube Switch app to the Switch 2 but…it doesn't work, so that's not any sort of workaround. This is one of those things where I think we give Nintendo too much slack about, the fact that the console can launch with almost no actually new games and not even a ton of standard apps that it should have for day one. But hey, it's Nintendo and Nintendo always gets passes. Hopefully we hear more about this soon from a source other than what a help account bot, but I have to believe it's a priority on at least Google's side, if not Nintendo's. There's no way it can take as long as it did last time, right? Right? Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.

Nintendo Is Delaying the ‘Legend of Zelda' Movie, but Only a Little Bit
Hoping that you'll still be oohing and ahhing over your new Switch 2, Nintendo has a teensy little bit of bad news: the Legend of Zelda movie is being delayed. The good news is that it's not for that long. Taking to Twitter rather than the Nintendo Today app this time, Shigeru Miyamoto released a brief statement confirming that Wes Ball's live-action Zelda movie will now release just over a month later than planned, on May 7, 2027. This is Miyamoto. For production reasons, we are changing the release date of the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda to May 7, 2027. It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it… — 任天堂株式会社 (@Nintendo) June 9, 2025 'For production reasons, we are changing the release date of the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda to May 7, 2027. It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it can be,' the statement reads in part. 'Thank you for your patience.' The release date, and now this changed one, is pretty much all we've definitively heard about the Zelda movie since its shock announcement from Nintendo and Sony Pictures back in November 2023. Although recently rumors have begun to swirl about potential casting, so much of just how one of the most beloved gaming series of all time is going to make the leap to live-action (outside of the occasional funky TV ad, that is) remains to be seen. We'll bring you more on Sony and Nintendo's plans for the Zelda movie as and when we learn them.
