
Greek man says he was attacked by tennis star Tsitsipas's family dog: ‘It felt like a bear bite'
A man in Greece on Tuesday said he needed stitches after allegedly being bitten by the family dog of tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The 71-year-old claims he was attacked outside a cafeteria in the coastal Athens suburb of Vouliagmeni on Monday.
'It felt like a bear bite... It ripped through my trousers,' the man, whose name was not published, told news portal NewsIT.
'Blood was flowing and I fell to the sidewalk,' he said. Bystanders helped him up and one of them took him to hospital.

The man said he had identified Tsitsipas's mother, Julia Salnikova, as the owner of the dog, which was on a leash.
'We know them, they've lived in Vouliagmeni for years,' he said.
'She took the dog away and swore at me,' he added.
A police statement said the man had filed a complaint against Russia-born Salnikova, who represented the Soviet Union as a tennis player in the 1980s.
Greece's top male tennis prospect and a former world number three, Tsitsipas, 26, is currently ranked 19th globally. He lives full-time in Monaco.

Road closed and man arrested after violent incident in city street

"A 35-year-old man from Morriston has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent. He is currently in police custody. "A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident. His injuries are not thought to be life-changing. "A road closure was put in place during officers' attendance. Grandville PD: Child, mom hospitalized after sedan trapped under trucks
GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Bystanders pulled a child from a car that was rear-ended and then trapped under two pickup trucks, police say. It happened at the intersection of 28th Street and Ottawa Avenue in Grandville around 4:55 p.m. Friday. The Grandville Police Department said in a release that the initial report officers got was of two trucks on top of each other and an injured child. Police say a westbound pickup truck failed to stop for traffic lined up at a red light and rear-ended a sedan. The sedan was shoved forward under another pickup in front of it. The pickup that hit the back of the car came to a rest on top of it, the release said. A child in the back seat of the car was trapped, but freed by bystanders before emergency responders arrived. The child was taken to the hospital. Police did not indicate house serious the child's injuries were. Video shows 3 juveniles wanted for throwing "possibly battery acid" on woman in West Philadelphia, police say
Philadelphia police are searching for three juveniles accused of throwing a caustic substance – possibly battery acid – on a woman, who then had to be taken to the hospital. Police released surveillance video that shows a woman walking on South 51st Street in West Philadelphia Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. According to police, the woman said she was walking down the street when a chemical was thrown on her, severely burning her face and body. Authorities described the chemical as a caustic substance. The woman was brought to the hospital for further evaluation, however, her current status is not known. After the assault, investigators said the juveniles shown in the video then got on the El at 52nd Street and got off at 60th Street. The video released by police doesn't show the assault itself, but rather captures the juveniles after the incident. Anyone who was in the area on Sunday when the attack happened or knows any information about the incident is asked to call police at 215-686-8477.
