Prisoners' Affairs Authority: Detainees in Gilboa Prison Suffer from Severe Cold and Starvation

The Prisoners' Affairs Authority reported in a report that conditions in Gilboa Prison are still bad and have become more severe after the start of the Israeli war of extermination against our people in Gaza and the West Bank on October 7, 2023, as detainees suffer from severe cold and systematic starvation.
The Authority's lawyer reported in her report that prisoner Ibrahim Adnan Harb (48 years old) from the town of Iskaka "Salfit District", has been detained since 10-5-2023 and is in Section Three, Room No. 12 in Gilboa Prison, where he spent nine and a half months there before being transferred to administrative detention for 4 months with its renewal for another 4 months. He suffers from diabetes and takes three insulin injections daily, and has lost 14 kilograms of his weight due to malnutrition.

NGOs: Aid entering northern Gaza insufficient

WHO: al-Amal hospital in Gaza out of service
Rome – Saba: Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced on Tuesday that al-Amal Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip is out of service. In a post on X platform, Ghebreyesus said, "al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis is currently out of service due to increased attacks by the Israeli army in its vicinity," according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa). He noted that the hospital is no longer accessible, leading to more preventable deaths. The UN official explained that the hospital is no longer able to receive new patients, despite the presence of many in need of medical care. He noted that with the closure of Al Amal Hospital, Nasser Hospital is now the only hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, with an intensive care unit. Ghebreyesus added, "We once again call for an immediate ceasefire, the protection of health facilities, and unhindered access to essential medicines and medical supplies." Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs: Deliberate medical neglect of those afflicted with "skypox" in Megiddo prison
Ramallah – Saba: The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission said on Tuesday that "skypox" is widespread in Megiddo Prison, due to the prison administration's delay in providing the necessary medication to infected prisoners. The Commission quoted its lawyer, speaking in a statement during a visit to a number of prisoners in Megiddo Prison, as saying that prisoner Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel Razzaq (32 years old) from Tulkarm is being held in Section 3, Room 1, at this prison. He was arrested on April 25, 2024, and remains detained. He has a court date scheduled for July 13. The Commission stated that the prisoner suffers from "skypox" and that boils have begun to appear on his body. He has not yet been given any antibiotics or medication. It is worth noting that he lost approximately 15 kilograms of weight after his arrest and was beaten during his arrest. Regarding the general situation in the prison, the Commission reported testimony from prisoners visited by the Commission's lawyers, stating that hot water was not provided daily. Regarding shampoo, three bottles were distributed per week, in addition to one roll of tissues per prisoner per week. The prisoners agreed that, depending on the mood of the jailer on duty, prisoners were assaulted, beaten, and humiliated, and sometimes subjected to repression for the most trivial reasons.
