Black Sabbath's Classic Hit Reaches A New All-Time High
Most of Osbourne's songs and full-lengths are on the decline, which isn't unusual at this point in the grieving process, but one track from his group bucks the downward trend and climbs to a new peak decades after its release.
'War Pigs' Climbs to a New Chart Peak
'War Pigs/Luke's Wall,' a double single of sorts, rises on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, Billboard's ranking of the most consumed hard rock-only tunes in the United States. The Black Sabbath classic lifts a single spot from No. 6 to No. 5.
As it climbs, 'War Pigs/Luke's Wall' hits a never-before-seen high point three frames into its time on the consumption-based tally.
Black Sabbaths's Three Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart Hits
Black Sabbath has seen three tunes hit the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, and all of them debuted within the last month. 'Paranoid' stands out as the group's only No. 1, while 'War Pigs/Luke's Wall' ties 'Iron Man' as the band's second-highest-charting tune – or lowest.
Previously, 'War Pigs/Luke's Wall' was the lowest-peaking Black Sabbath cut on the roster, but it now shares that distinction with 'Iron Man.'
'Paranoid' Remains the Band's Longest-Running Win
It also advances in terms of longevity. 'Paranoid' has spent five frames on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, while Black Sabbath's climbing tune earns a third stay, pulling out of a tie with 'Iron Man,' which only held on for two stints.
'War Pigs' Lives on Multiple Billboard Charts
'War Pigs/Luke's Wall' lives on half a dozen Billboard charts, all of which are focused on rock in one way or another. The cut only climbs on the Hot Hard Rock Songs tally, though it keeps at No. 6 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales list. The Black Sabbath favorite slips on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs, Rock Digital Song Sales, and Hard Rock Streaming Songs charts at the same time.
'War Pigs' and 'Luke's Wall'
'War Pigs' was released in 1970 as part of Black Sabbath's Paranoid album. In the United States, the song's instrumental outro is specifically called 'Luke's Wall,' so in America the track is credited as 'War Pigs/Luke's Wall.'

Fans Are Saying They've Never Seen Taylor Swift Be So "Open" And "Intimate" With A Partner Like She Is With Travis Kelce, And My Heart Might Truly Burst
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making fans around the world blush after watching their new viral interview. After countless requests, Taylor finally appeared on her boyfriend's podcast, New Heights, alongside his cohost and brother, Jason Kelce. This marked Taylor's first-ever podcast appearance, and, boy, did she make a lasting impression on audiences. The multi-Grammy winner laughed, cried, and gushed while chatting about an array of topics like reclaiming the masters to her records, falling for Travis, life after the Eras tour, details about her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, the album artwork, baking, and so much more. It was a jam-packed conversation, which is why it lasted for more than two hours. Related: During the discussion, viewers couldn't help but notice how "comfortable and safe" the "Fortnight" singer appeared in the interview. They noted the vulnerability in her responses and the effortless way Travis and Taylor would flirt with each other. So much so, that at one point during the interview while they were discussing their relationship, Jason jokingly felt like he was intruding on something very intimate and asked, "Should I leave?" "This podcast has done a lot for me," Taylor exclaimed. "It got me a boyfriend. Ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago." If you didn't know, Travis attended Taylor's Kansas City Eras show in 2023, hoping to meet the star, but when he didn't, he publicly "threw a man tantrum" about it on his podcast as he bluntly admitted that he wants to date her. 'It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like: 'I wanna date you,'' she said. '[It] felt more like I was in an '80s John Hughes movie, and he was standing outside of my window with a boombox saying: 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet.' I was like: 'If this guy's not crazy, this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.'' Fans loved how open and transparent she was being, adding that they'd never seen Taylor like this before. Related: Here's what some people said online: "I don't think the Kelce brothers realize what a true gift this was for fans. I've never heard Taylor speak so openly and candidly for so long." —@chemistryflavored "This podcast made me realize I dont think ive ever heard taylor talk this much or in a natural setting ever." —@laurenbartley425 Related: "The best thing about this entire podcast isn't even the album announcement, it's just seeing Taylor so freaking happy and comfortable with some who clearly cares about her so much!" —@GOTGames "Full disclosure, I was a bit annoyed that this sports podcast was going to have a pop singer on it. I was going to skip it. I have NEVER been this engrossed in anything for 2 hours in my entire life. Friends, is it crazy for a 54-year-old dude to be googling, 'What is a Swiftie and how can I become one?' I laughed, I got angry (at her not owning her music), and I got choked up. Seeing two people genuinely in love (when all we heard all season is this relationship isn't real, it's a marketing scheme, etc., etc.) gave me a feeling I did not know I could have. I've always thought the Kelce brothers were just dudes with dope jobs. Like they would chug beers with you if you met them. They don't act like famous people. Taylor seems the same. This showed ALL of their human sides and I loved every minute of it!! I am now a Taylor Swift fan as well. Well done girl!!!" —@sdreed70 "The way Travis just SO intently listens to her when she —@samanthaclapp "Getting Taylor 'Professional Yapper' Swift on a podcast that won't have trick questions and with people she's comfortable with is what the fans needed." —@bananak1o "It feels like I'm not suppose to be hearing this conversation. It's so natural and so safe like we're all sitting in their kitchen listening to her talk. All 1.3 million of us." —@jrraiderscheer3760 Related: "We really owe a lot to Travis. We never get to see this side of Taylor. He's made her feel safe in a way that she can share this way." —@sarahgondos "As a die hard Taylor fan since 2008 I'm so shocked to see her like this. I honestly thought we'd never see her this candid and especially not with a boyfriend, talking so openly about their relationship. I'm in awe. But then this made it so clear that this is what she always wanted, she never wanted secrecy and crazy borderline obsession with privacy, she wanted this, she'd just never found a man that had loved her enough and loved her right. I'm so happy for her, words can't explain." —@isasch123 And with more than 30K comments on the video, the majority of them looked like these. This is this week's ForbesWomen newsletter, which every Thursday brings news about the world's top female entrepreneurs, leaders and investors straight to your inbox. Click here to get on the newsletter list! F illing in for Maggie this week—hi! I'm Erin Spencer Sairam, senior contributor and 50 Over 50 reporter, and I'm excited to be in your inbox today. Let's jump right in. The week began with a billionaire-sized pop culture mic drop. After a string of social media posts sent Swifties into a speculating frenzy, the pop star officially announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl . The news comes hot on the heels of Swift leveraging her $1.6 billion fortune to purchase the rights to the master recordings of her first six albums. Speaking of billionaires, this week, Forbes released its Next Billion-Dollar Startups 2025 list. First launched in 2015 and produced in partnership with TrueBridge Capital, the list spotlights rapidly growing venture-backed startups with the potential to become unicorns. Currently, just 13% of the world's billionaires are women, but this year's Next Billion-Dollar Startups list includes several women to keep an eye on. Among them is Loyal founder Celine Halioua, who has raised $135 million from top investors to develop canine longevity pills. As Amy Feldman notes, Halioua is currently in conversations with the FDA and has cleared several early hurdles. Senior dog owners, like myself, will be watching closely to see if the startup gets the green light to hit the market. Cheers! PEDRO OLIVEIRA FOR FORBES Angela Davis is managing billions, not in stocks or crypto—but in trees. Timberland, one of the oldest investments on earth, is quietly emerging as a must-have in modern portfolios. Between its biological yield, carbon credit potential and ability to grow when the stock market doesn't, it's one of the most interesting asset classes you've probably never considered. Davis, current president and incoming CEO of Campbell Global, currently oversees 1.4 million acres across the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. Managing her $10 billion timber empire is hands-on work (think bug monitoring, fire suppression and even bear deterrence strategies across a 45-year tree cycle), but it's a long-term bet wealthy investors and institutions are increasingly buying into. Forbes is searching for the next class of 30 Under 30—and nominations for the U.S. and Canada close in less than a month. Are you next? Or do you know someone creating the next Instagram, Stripe or Spotify? Nominate them (or yourself) here. The Checklist 1. Think twice before you scrub your social media accounts. Between the Trump Administration declaring private accounts a red flag for foreign students and prospective employers using AI to find fake applicants, the old rules of polishing and making your accounts private are becoming obsolete. Here's what you should do instead. 2. Own the (virtual) room. Remote work has unlocked new levels of flexibility, but it also comes with the challenge of being seen. When you're not physically present in the office, your contributions can sometimes fly under the radar. According to a study by Live Data Technologies, people who work from home are promoted 31% less often than their in-office counterparts and are 35% more likely to be laid off. Make sure you stand out with these five tips. 3. Think of your energy as a luxury item. On Wednesday, Taylor Swift joined Travis and Jason Kelce on their podcast New Heights to discuss the singer's upcoming album. During the episode, Swift offered these words of advice for blocking out unwanted noise and setting boundaries in an era of constant connectivity: 'You should think of your energy as if it's expensive, as if it's a luxury item. Not everyone can afford it.'
