MILWAUKEE - Four people were injured in a shooting in downtown Milwaukee early Sunday morning, June 8, 2025.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, at about 2:47 a.m., four people were shot in the area of Vel R. Phillips and McKinley.
Three 22-year-olds and one 21-year-old were all taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Champaign man hospitalized in Saturday night shooting
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A 21-year-old Champaign man was hurt after a shooting on Saturday. Officers with the Champaign Police Department responded to the area of Giboney and Tower Streets around 10:40 p.m. after a report that shots had been fired nearby. Police were able to locate an area with evidence of gunfire in the 1400 block of Clock Street. 22-year-old Danville man dead after motorcycle crash Around the same time police were searching for evidence, a man who had been shot walked into an area hospital with wounds in the arm and torso. Police said the man received medical treatment and is hospitalized in stable condition. After investigating, police learned that the 21-year-old was driving through an alley near Clock Street when unknown subjects fired at his vehicle, hitting him in the process. Police were able to find one vehicle that was damaged in this incident. Champaign police remained in the area for several hours to collect evidence, and search for witnesses and video footage that could help the investigation. No arrests have been made as of Sunday afternoon, and the investigation is ongoing.
