Jersey Bulls end season with win after title disappointment
Bulls tried to put the disappointment of the previous 24 hours behind them as they came out to their highest attendance of the season.Those at Springfield, who had been there anticipating a league title celebration before their points deduction, saw few clear cut first-half chances despite the islanders having the better of the play. Karl Hinds had a shot deflected wide while Luke Campbell went close with a header from a corner shortly before half time as Jonny Le Quesne's follow-up was saved. Campbell went close from a Fraser Barlow free kick 10 minutes after the restart while Luke Watson headed a Barlow delivery against the post five minutes later.But the deadlock was broken soon after as Lorne Bickley broke through, and while goalkeeper Harry White saved his effort, Joe Kilshaw was there to slam home the rebound.
Goalkeeper Piers Roche did well to deny Sandhurst with 19 minutes to go before Bulls had a series of chances in stoppage time.The islanders hit the post before Bickley brought two excellent close-range saves from White while Francis Lekimamati hit the bar. But while Bulls earned their 30th victory of the season, it was Redhill who were celebrating as they look to have won the title.

FA throw club OUT of the FA Cup after ‘ridiculous mistake' leads to clash being postponed
A CLUB have been thrown out of the FA for a "ridiculous mistake". Guernsey FC drew 1-1 with Bedfont Sports Club on Saturday in the extra preliminary round. 2 It was their first competitive match of the 2025-26 season for the Green Lions. And it was also their first FA Cup match for eight years due to financial troubles. But Tuesday's replay in London did not go ahead as planned. That is in reference to fellow Channel Island side Jersey Bulls being docked three points for fielding a suspended player. The punishment denied Jersey the Combined Counties Premier South league title - but they did still get promoted through the play-offs. The first round proper of this season's FA Cup is on the first weekend of November, with Premier League and Championship clubs entering in the third round in early January. Footy fans are mourning the death of Danny Peacock, who was a cult hero with Western Suburbs and the Gold Coast Seagulls before finishing his career in England with Bradford. Peacock, 57, was found at a Toowoomba motel in Queensland on Thursday. The sad development follows the break-up of his marriage earlier this year. Peacock made his first-grade debut with the Magpies in 1988, and was a crowd favourite due to his speed. Next was a move to the Seagulls three seasons later, before finishing his time on Australian shores with the South Queensland Crushers in 1996. In the twilight of his career, Peacock was a standout for the Bulls in England before retiring in 1999 due to a knee injury. On the field, 1997 was also a year to remember for Peacock, who was named in the Super League 'Dream Team' following a strong debut season with the Bulls playing in the centres.
