I cleared my local Asda of an £8 cleaning essential going for nearly 4x less – but trolls say I should ‘share' them

A BARGAIN hunter has come under fire after proudly showing off her mega haul of £2.50 cleaning essentials.
Asda customer, Mandy Ward, was slammed after she cleared the shelves and filled the shopping trolley the boot to the brim with cut-price laundry products.

According to the thrifty shopper, the popular supermarket was running a deal which meant she only paid a mere £2.50 for the branded liquid detergent.
The popular brand usually goes for an eye-watering £7.98 at the store, so Mandy managed to save nearly 4x the original price.
In her post, the money-saving shopper explained she had spotted someone else raving about the epic deal on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.
All chuffed with the monster haul, she said: ''Thank you so much to the person who posted about the Persil bottles for £2.50.
''It was only the blue one.''
She confessed to leaving the store with no more stock, writing: ''I cleared my Asda out (Boston). Will share with friends and family and the local food bank.
''The price on the shelf was still showing as £7.98, I used the Asda Scan & Go App to check the price which came up as £2.50,'' said Mandy who had bagged more than a dozen liquid detergents.
'Wow! Why clear them out'
But while Mandy vowed to donate some of the cleaning essentials to help struggling households, the mega haul sparked fury amongst Facebook users.
Since being shared online, the post has racked up close to 300 likes in less than 24 hours, with a further 249 people flooding to comments - where it was a mixed bag of reactions.
One wasn't so convinced by what Mandy claimed she'd do with the cut-price items.

''Which store? So we know not to go,'' wrote another who thought they'd be met with empty shelves.
''Wow! Why clear them out? Let sum1 else get a share,'' someone else slammed the money-saving shopper.
The household items you're not cleaning often enough

Computer Keyboards and Mice: Use compressed air to remove debris. Wipe with a disinfectant wipe.

She said: Lol I bought 12 earlier left 5 on the shelf and no I'm not sharing.''
If you're keen to snap up the discounted detergent but your local Asda has been cleared out, one shopper revealed that a rival supermarket was running a similar deal.
''They do a 2 pack of these in home bargains around £5.69 so only 69p more.''
