These terrorist activities are not just a proxy war: PM Modi exposes hypocrisy of Pakistan following Operation Sindoor
Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], May 27 (ANI): Hitting out at Pakistan and exposing their double standards post Operation Sindoor, PM Narendra Modi said that the terrorists killed in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor were given state honours in Pakistan.
He asserted that the Pakistani flag was draped over their coffins and they were saluted by the officials of the Pakistan Army. PM Modi further emphasised that the terrorists are no longer proxy wars.
'We can't call this a proxy war, as those who were killed after May 6 were given state honours in Pakistan. Pakistani flags were draped over their coffins, and their military saluted them. This proves that these terrorist activities are not just a proxy war -- this is a deliberate war strategy on their part. If they are engaging in war, then the response will be accordingly', PM Modi said.
Remembering the time of India's partition in 1947, PM Modi stated that Pakistan annexed a part of Kashmir with the help of terrorists. He said that if those terrorists had been killed that day and if Sardar Patel's advice had been accepted, then the series of terror activities in India would have stopped, which has been going on for the past 75 years.
'In 1947, Mother India was torn into pieces. The chains should have been cut, but the arms were chopped off. The country was divided into three parts, and the same night, the first terrorist attack took place on the soil of Kashmir. Pakistan captured a part of Mother India with the help of terrorists, in the name of Mujahideen. If these Mujahideen had been killed on that day and Sardar Patel's advice had been accepted, then this series (of terrorist incidents) that has been going on for the last 75 years would not have been seen. No matter how strong or healthy the body is, even a single thorn can cause constant pain--and we've decided that the thorn must be removed', PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister further exposed Pakistan's capability and stated that it cannot defeat India in war, due to which they have begun a proxy war. He asserted that the terrorists kept on attacking India, and the citizens tolerated every attack.
'When the need for war with Pakistan arose, India's military power defeated Pakistan all three times. Pakistan understood that it could not defeat India in a war. It started a proxy war against India. They kept attacking wherever they got a chance, and we kept tolerating it', PM Modi said. (ANI)

A day after INDIA bloc parties wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a special session of Parliament to discuss the developments following the terror attack in Pahalgam, the Opposition parties Wednesday hit out at the government for announcing the dates of the Monsoon session 'so much in advance' and alleged that it was done to dilute the demand for the special session. Barring AAP and NCP (SP) led by Sharad Pawar, all other INDIA bloc parties had signed the letter. The AAP is learnt to have sent a separate letter raising the same demand. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju Wednesday announced that the Monsoon session of the Parliament will commence on July 21 and conclude on August 12. Criticising the government action, Congress communication in-charge Jairam Ramesh said that 'usually the dates of the Parliament session are announced a few days in advance'. 'But this time, the dates were announced 47 days before the session began — this has never happened before,' Ramesh said. He alleged that the decision was taken by the government only to avoid the demand of the India alliance to convene an urgent special session of Parliament. 'Serious issues including the failure of the government to bring to justice the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack, impact of Operation Sindoor and the situation that arose thereafter and blatant politicisation of Operation Sindoor should be discussed in Parliament,' the Congress MP said. 'All these issues, which are of supreme national interest, will remain the focus of discussion during the monsoon session as well. After six weeks, the Prime Minister will have to answer some difficult questions,' said Ramesh. Samajwadi Party MP Javed Ali Khan said the government 'wants to dilute the Opposition's demand for a special session'. 'This is unprecedented,' he said. TMC Parliamentary Leader in Rajya Sabha Derek O'Brien said 'the government is scared'. 'Usually, a Parliament session is announced around 19 days ahead. This time, they announced it 47 days ahead. So scared,' said O'Brien. AIMIM chief and MP Asadduddin Owaisi said that during the Monsoon session, there must be a debate on the Pahalgam attack, the alleged security lapse, and those accountable for it. AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that the Monsoon session is a regular session, and the government was not doing any favours by announcing it now. 'We will continue our demand for a discussion in (Parliament) on the issues related to Pakistan,' said Singh. RSP MP N K Premchandran also criticised the government action.

Punjab: Youtube Influencer arrested for leaking information to Pak ISI
Chandigarh, June 4 (UNI) In a significant breakthrough against espionage networks threatening national security, Punjab Police's State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) SAS Nagar has arrested a YouTube influencer for spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav on Wednesday. The arrested accused, identified as Jasbir Singh alias Jaan Mahal (41) of Village Mahlan in Rupnagar, has been operating a YouTube channel 'JaanMahal Video' with over 11 lakh subscribers, ostensibly posting travel and cooking vlogs. Director General of Police Yadav said the accused, Jasbir Singh, has been found associated with Pakistani Intelligence Operative (PIO) Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa, part of a terror-backed espionage network. He also maintained close contact with Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra— arrested for spying by Haryana Police, and Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a Pakistani national and expelled Pak High Commission official. He said the investigation has revealed that Jasbir attended the Pakistan National Day event in Delhi on Danish's invitation, where he met Pakistani Army officials and vloggers. The accused has also travelled to Pakistan on three occasions in 2020, 2021 and 2024, and came into direct contact with ISI officers, who subsequently cultivated and recruited him to carry out espionage activities within India, he added. The DGP said after Jyoti Malhotra's arrest, accused Jasbir had attempted to erase all traces of his communications with these PIOs to avoid detection. Further investigations are underway to dismantle the broader espionage-terror network and identify all collaborators, he added. AIG, SSOC SAS Nagar Dr Ravjot Grewal said that police teams have received reliable input about Jasbir Singh alias Jaan Mahal being in touch with many Pakistan-based entities, including agents of the Pakistan intelligence agency ISI and has been providing sensitive information about the movement of Indian Army and other inside activities of the country to Pakistan. Acting swiftly, teams of SSOC SAS Nagar launched an intel-based operation and arrested suspect and recovered his mobile device, she said. She said around 150 Pakistan contacts have been retrieved from the initial mobile phone forensics of the arrested. These included mobile numbers of Pakistan ISI agents, Pakistan High Commission officials and other Pak-based entities. In a bid to cover his tracks, the accused had deleted crucial digital evidence, including chats, contact records, and documents exchanged with Pakistani intelligence handlers from his mobile phone, said the AIG, while adding that technical recovery and forensic examination are underway to retrieve deleted data and information leaked through him. She said that the investigation has revealed that the accused, Jasbir, used this platform as a cover to share sensitive information about Indian Army movements and activities with Pakistani handlers. The AIG said accused Jasbir had got introduced with Jyoti Malhotra through Pakistan embassy officials at an event hosted by Pakistan embassy in 2024. Both Jasbir and Jyoti also visited Pakistan together. Further investigation is in progress to identify potential accomplices, digital communication trails, and foreign linkages, she added. PM Modi Sets Strategic Roadmap In First Council Of Ministers Meet After Operation Sindoor
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, setting the tone for the government's immediate and long-term strategic agenda, including national security, water policy, and public outreach. This meeting also marked the first such high-level gathering following India's strong military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed multiple innocent lives. According to sources, the meeting saw a detailed briefing on Operation Sindoor, India's retaliatory offensive against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Defence Minister Rajnath Singh opened the session by providing an overview of the operation, after which Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan delivered a comprehensive presentation on its execution and strategic impact, sources said. Under Operation Sindoor, India struck nine terror camps, with subsequent action countering Pakistani offensives across multiple sectors. The government in the meeting also reviewed pressing issues related to developmental projects. The Ministry of Jal Shakti gave a detailed presentation on India's water management strategy, including a status update on the Indus Waters Treaty and other key infrastructure projects. According to sources, the presentation covered both India's diplomatic positioning and internal preparedness on water sharing and conservation, especially concerning cross-border rivers. Presentations were also made by other ministries, focusing on critical sectors ranging from infrastructure and energy to social welfare. Ministries were instructed to align their communication strategies with the government's larger public engagement goals. Importantly, all ministers were directed to take the government's achievements over the past 11 years directly to the people. The Prime Minister stressed the need for unified messaging and on-ground outreach to showcase development work and reforms under the NDA regime. With the strategic and administrative roadmap laid out, the Council of Ministers now enters what is expected to be a crucial phase of implementation and public engagement in PM Modi's third term.
