He had been sitting in the car for six hours waiting for a tow truck when the motor was caught on camera outside a bay.
Jeremy, 48, said: 'Thankfully, I was unhurt, but there is no way they knew that.
'The thing that shocked me was the inhumanity of it.
'Did it ever occur to them to ask if I was OK?'

The NHS apprentice manager hit the post when he was caught in the glare of another vehicle in a commuter car park near Edgware Tube Station, North London, at 6am on April 9.
Despite doing only 5mph, dad-of-two Jeremy says the post proved too firmly embedded to free his car and he had to wait for help.
It meant Jeremy missed an important meeting with his team, which sources apprentices for St Guy's and St George's hospital.
And he was angered when he received the penalty notice about a week later.

Jeremy, from Borehamwood, Herts, appealed the charge and received a brusque, three- sentence letter informing him he no longer needed to pay.
He said: 'I was livid when I received that letter.
My car gets ticketed every morning but I can't park anywhere else - city makes thousands in fees & I can't get a permit
"It was just robotic, no apology, nothing. What has the world come to?'
Jeremy remains annoyed neither the parking enforcement company nor passers-by showed him any understanding.
He said: 'I could have been concussed, anything.
'Two people in six hours stopped to check if I was OK, out of the hundreds that slowed to ogle the scene. A couple even laughed.'
UK Parking Control, which issued the fine, was asked to comment.

Our lives are being made hell by angry shoppers parking in our street… despite 500-space strong car park metres away

FURIOUS locals say their lives are being made a misery by Costco shoppers clogging up their street — even though there's a huge 500-space car park just metres away. Residents of Torrington Avenue in Advertisement 3 Locals claim abuse from Coventry Costco customers over parking issue Credit: Google 3 Locals say the situation gets worse on weekends and during Costco's busiest hours Credit: Google They've now begged the council for a residents-only parking scheme, saying the situation is unbearable — especially for those with kids or mobility issues. In a petition to the council, they said: 'Customers regularly use the street to park which at peak times not only means that residents struggle to find space but have recently also been facing verbal abuse and threats from customers.' They added: 'The current parking situation is especially an issue for those with small children and limited mobility as having to park further away constantly is a challenge. "Costco has over 500 spaces which is more than ample to meet demand, and there is no reason why customers and staff need to use the street at the expense of residents.' Some have even resorted to putting up cones and signs in a desperate attempt to keep spaces outside their homes clear. One resident, who didn't want to be named, said: 'It's chaos some days. "You get people blocking driveways and shouting abuse when you ask them to move. Advertisement Most read in Motors "It's just not right when there's a perfectly good car park sitting almost empty.' Despite the outcry, Coventry City Council looks set to reject the request. Officials say parking levels in the area simply don't meet the threshold needed for action. A similar bid for restrictions was made last year, also covering Torrington Avenue between the A45 and Eastcotes. Advertisement That too was knocked back after surveys showed enough spaces were still available. A council report explained: 'The parking survey conducted in response to that petition showed that the section of Torrington Avenue highlighted did not meet the parking availability criterion set out in the Council's Residents' Parking Policy (less than 40 per cent of spaces available during the daytime).' A follow-up check on Thursday 3 April 2025 reached the same conclusion — with 54 per cent of spaces free, well above the required threshold. The report concluded: 'As the recent parking survey shows that the number of parking spaces available during the daytime (54 per cent) still exceeds the criterion for consideration for a residents' parking scheme, the Cabinet Member is recommended to decline the request for a residents' parking scheme on Torrington Avenue between Eastcotes and the A45.' Advertisement The final decision rests with Councillor Patricia Hetherton, the cabinet member for city services, who will make the call at a meeting on Tuesday, June 11. Residents say they fear things will only get worse if action isn't taken soon. Some have even started discussions about installing private barriers or applying for dropped kerbs to stop people using their space. Another local added: 'We understand people want to save a bit of time by parking on the road, but it's not fair on us who live here. Advertisement "We just want to be able to park near our homes without having to deal with arguments or walk down the street with kids and shopping.' Despite the council's findings, residents say they'll keep fighting. They're urging others in the area to speak out and hope that pressure from the community might still sway the decision. The Sun has reached out to both Costco and Coventry City Council. Porsche unveils road-legal hypercar 50 years after original won world titles – but there's a catch

PORSCHE has shocked the motoring world by unveiling a new road legal hypercar. What's more is that it's spun off the a motor that's won multiple endurance Advertisement 2 Porsche has revealed a new road legal hypercar Credit: PA 2 It's based on a trailblazing motor that won multiple endurance racing titles Credit: PA The Porsche 963 RSP is unlike anything you can currently purchase - because only one has been made. It's a version of the manufacturers WEC and ISMA championship winning machine. And it's been built to mark 50 years since Count Rossi drove the trailblazing Porsche 917 from Zuffenhausen to Paris. Like that all-conquering motor, this one's been made road legal. Advertisement Read more Motors news Porsche's North American boss Timo Resch said: "How could we reimagine the 917's story in today's time? "The 917 from the story was every inch a race car – albeit one driven on the road – and we took the same approach with the 963 RSP. "It uses beautiful materials of the best quality available, but is still every bit a race car underneath." The 963 features significant changes over the car on which its based. Advertisement Most read in Motors In terms of the engine, the carmaker had to allow the 4.5-litre, twin-turbo V8 hybrid to run on regular unleaded rather than race fuel. While not an easy undertaking, the 918 Spyder-derived V8, e-motor and battery combo delivers a whopping 671bhp. Inside Taycan Turbo GT Porsche that can hit 200mph as SunSport's Isabelle Barker is taken for a spin by Formula E safety car driver The road height was also adjusted to make it suitable for general roads and the dampers softened. The control unit was reprogrammed too to allow for the headlights and taillights to operate closer to those of a motor on the road. Advertisement But its the interior that departs most from the original race car. In the entirely bespoke cabin, you'll find soft tan leather with a single piece driver's seat clad with additional cushioning and a fixed headrest. You'll find a special panel next to the driver that stores the steering wheel as well as a helmet and car aficionados will spot the nods to the 917. The biggest tribute comes in the form of the exterior colour that's the same 'Martini Silver' as Count Rossi's 917. Advertisement This one's been painted too, a unique challenge because of the carbon fibre and Kevlar bodywork. The bodywork also had to be modified to cover the wheel arches, headlights and tail lights added as well as closed-off banking plates on the rear wing and mounting points for the license plates. An enamel Porsche badge can be found on the nose and proper wet road tyres wrapped around 18 inch racing wheels. ONE-OF-A-KIND 'SPECIAL' MOTOR The 963 RSP gets its name from the involvement of American auto racing team owner Roger Searle Penske on the project. Advertisement Resch explained he called on Penske for "support" in the car's construction, with the racing expert ensuring the classic race car's character was not changed for the new model. The Porsche boss said that as Penske's involvement increased, the company realised he would be the perfect, and only, customer for the car. So while it was never intended to be a fully road-legal 963, Porsche received an exemption from the EPA in the US as it understood "how special" the car is. Despite this, it is not a fully road-registered car - and it needed special dispensation to run in France at the Advertisement For now, the car is expected to remain one-of-a-kind, with a Porsche spokesperson telling
