Vinnies surprises Aussies with major announcement that's set to change the way you shop forever
One of Australia's favourite op shops has finally launched a digital store, offering 30,000 pre-loved fashion pieces - ranging from designer labels to popular high-street brands.
Vinnies has taken thrift shopping to a whole new level with its new platform, aptly named Vinnies Finds, making sustainable, affordable style more accessible than ever.
Every donated item has been carefully curated by a team of 25 staff and volunteers at Vinnies' warehouse in Sydney 's inner west, with shipping available nationwide.
With new men's and women's clothes, shoes and accessories dropping daily, shoppers can grab bargains on their favourite brands - including Burberry, Kate Spade, Christian Dior, Chanel, Zimmermann, New Balance and Nike and more.
With growing demand for second-hand shopping and vintage clothing - along with the rise of the thrifting trend on social media - it's no surprise that op shops have seen a huge spike in popularity in recent years.
And now, after more than 100 years of running brick-and-mortar shops, Vinnies is expanding its internet presence with its first-ever online store, offering tens of thousands of donated items, including pre-loved treasures and unique pieces.
'As shopping habits evolve in the digital age, our move online ensures Vinnies remains relevant and accessible. Today's consumers are seeking convenience, sustainability, and style, all in one click,' Vinnies NSW CEO Yolanda Saiz told FEMAIL.
'Going digital allows us to reach a wider crowd and keep up with the growing demand for eco-friendly options, all while giving pre-loved clothes a second life.'
Avid thrift enthusiasts can shop by category, brand, curated collection, price, or by using specific search terms, making it easy to browse and purchase second-hand menswear, womenswear, shoes, accessories, and jewellery.
'New items are uploaded daily, ensuring a constantly refreshed product offering. Items will be rotated seasonally so at the moment you will see a lot of Autumn and Winter wear, but you can also shop now if you want to get summer clothes for your Euro Summer trip,' Ms Saiz said.
'Shoppers can expect a carefully curated range of fashion that includes everything from everyday essentials to high-end designer pieces. You'll find well-known names alongside one-of-a-kind treasures you won't see anywhere else.
'Prices are designed to focus on quality and affordability, reflecting Vinnies' commitment to accessible fashion for all.
'Whether you're hunting for a statement dress, designer shoes, or a timeless vintage jacket, there's something for every budget.'
Not only will shoppers find great deals, but they will also be supporting a worthy cause with every purchase.
'Vinnies Finds combines the treasure-hunt experience of thrifting with the convenience of shopping online, all while supporting the work of Vinnies in communities across NSW,' Ms Saiz said.
'It's an affordable way to enjoy fashion while supporting sustainability and giving back to the community.'
The online inventory is managed at the Vinnies Finds warehouse in Stanmore, where a dedicated team - many of whom are fashion students or sustainability enthusiasts - pick and pack orders from Monday to Friday.
Shoppers are welcome to donate their pre-loved clothes to Vinnies for inclusion in the digital store, Vinnies Finds.
'The process is straightforward and ensures that only quality items make it online,' Ms Saiz explained.
'To donate, simply drop off your clean, gently used clothing and accessories at any Vinnies shop during business hours. A helpful rule of thumb is: if you'd give it to a mate, it's good to donate.
'Once your items are donated, each item is carefully sorted and assessed for quality. Suitable items are prepared for sale in our shops and online store. This includes photographing and cataloguing items for Vinnies Finds.
'By donating to Vinnies, you're not only giving your pre-loved items a new life but also supporting a sustainable and circular economy, all while helping those in need.'
The proceeds from these sales directly fund Vinnies' programs and services, supporting thousands of vulnerable individuals and families across NSW each year.
'What's exciting about launching Vinnies Finds is how it brings together purpose and convenience. It's not just about shopping, it's about making second-hand fashion easier to access, giving clothes a second life, and supporting local communities at the same time,' she said.
'It's also a big move toward a more sustainable future. By making it easier to buy pre- loved items, Vinnies is helping to reduce textile waste and support a circular economy.
'And while shoppers find great pieces online, they're also helping fund essential services like crisis accommodation, food support, and help for families doing it tough.'

Socceroos star Rhyan Grant lists his gorgeous $1.65million beachside pad in Bondi on the market
Socceroo Rhyan Grant is set to put his gorgeous Sydney beachside flat under the hammer later this month with hopes of a $1.65million sale. Located in North Bondi, the two-bedroom one-bathroom 'garden apartment' is a mere 900 metres from one of the world's most famous beaches. Positioned on the ground floor of a small block of five flats, Rhyan's two-story pad boasts an entertainment deck and stunning ocean views. No price guide has been included in the listing. However, The Daily Telegraph reported on Tuesday that agents behind the sale expect the 34-year-old Sydney FC captain could fetch as much $1.65 million for the spacious apartment. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Built across two-levels, the lower ground floor features the kitchen and main living areas that opens out to a private garden and alfresco dining area. The upper floor, meanwhile, is host to both bedrooms and features a balcony and study nook. Other highlights include a stone kitchen with mosaic tile splashback and an updated bathroom. It comes after Grant recently shut down any talk of retirement. After making his A-League debut in 2008 and chalking up over 300 career appearances for Sydney FC, the former Socceroos star has no plans to walk away just yet. 'I have a contract for next season, and I know I'll be 35, but the body feels great,' the veteran player told Daily Mail Australia in April. 'I'm keen to keep going, beyond that who knows....I would like to apply my knowledge from over the years, so coaching could be an option.' Grant's impressive career includes a stint with the Socceroos squad since 2018. He wowed fans in 2020 when he scored the winning goal in the grand final match between his Sydney FC side and Melbourne. Grant shares a 16-month-old daughter, Bobby Peach, with his partner Dani. Soon after welcoming his bundle of joy, the dynamic soccer star spoke about fatherhood. 'I've got a little girl who's a few months old, keeping me on my toes and giving me some sleepless nights, so that's been fun trying to navigate,' Grant shared on the Sydney FC site last year.

Jilted Married At First Sight stars Sierah Swepstone, Adrian Araouzou and Morena Farina break their silence after being snubbed from the 2025 Logie Awards
Married At First Sight's 12th season has had no shortage of drama both on and off the screen, but tensions reached a peak after certain castmates were snubbed from the 2025 Logie Awards. Now, the jilted reality stars are breaking their silence regarding the ceremony's cold shoulder. Sierah Swepstone, Adrian Araouzou and Morena Farina spoke to Chattr about being snubbed from TV's night of nights and lifted the lid on all the drama behind the scenes. 'I have removed myself from anything MAFS-related or TV-related,' Adrian said, adding that had distanced himself from the show's social events, Instagram and castmates. However, the former TV groom did reveal that he'd be open to attending the event if an invite found its way into his letter box. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Morena sung a similar tune, saying that she hadn't been invited to the Logies, but was not surprised considering she had been excluded from most events related to the show. She also let slip of tensions amongst the MAFS participants, adding that she'd rather avoid people who 'unfairly' shut her out. 'Attending the Logies would be an honour and a privilege, though I'll be honest, I'd prefer not to be seated at the table with the MAFS cast season 12,' she said. Controversial bride Sierah, who was embroiled in a cheating scandal with fellow ousted groom Adrian, claimed that her snub was a form of 'victim silencing'. 'Channel 9 completely barred me from any media opportunities and anything associated with it because of what they allowed to happen to me while I was there,' she sensationally alleged. On Monday, the MAFS cast descended into a frenzy ahead of the 2025 Logie Awards, after learning that only a small handful of them would be invited to the glittering ceremony. Set to take place on August 4 in Sydney, the event will once again be hosted by Channel Seven, leaving some Channel Nine stars sweating over their invite status. Daily Mail Australia revealed that only a few of this year's breakout stars made the cut, despite MAFS 2025 scoring strong ratings and widespread attention. Those tipped to attend include Jamie Marinos, Awhina Rutene, Rhi Disljenkovic, Jeff Gobbels, Tony Mojanovski, Ryan Donnelly, Carina Mirabile, Eliot Donovan, Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias. All ten stars have remained in good standing with Nine and have been spotted at recent promotional events, making them the obvious choices to represent the show and network. Should Channel Nine be feeling generous Katie Johnston and Ashleigh Ackerman will also be considered. Meanwhile, relationship experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla will once again attend the awards to officially represent the series, while Mel Schilling has been invited but is yet to confirm her appearance. Insiders say the decision to limit the guest list has caused serious tension within the cast. 'Everyone's panicking and desperate to go,' one source told Daily Mail Australia. 'Some of them acted like saints during filming thinking it would secure them a Logies invite – now they're hearing they didn't make the cut and they're furious.' Despite still being together, Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice also won't be receiving an invite following their controversial stint on the show. Perth groom Paul Antoine, Tim Gromie and Veronica Cloherty also didn't make the list. 'There's already drama bubbling behind the scenes,' the insider continued.

But I truly believe his light and legacy will continue shining brightly above. 'Rest peacefully, Koby. You will be missed, always.'
