Dua Lipa Confirms She's Engaged To Callum Turner — & Talks Starting A Family

Dua Lipa has finally confirmed her engagement to Callum Turner. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner spent New Years Eve together, and based on the giant ring Dua's wearing on THAT finger, it looks like they could be spending the rest of their lives together too! This celebrity couple were first spotted together in January 2024, and immediately became my favorite couple, like, ever. Engagement rumors were flying by the end of the year, and thanks to some of Dua Lipa's Instagram posts, the internet is more convinced than ever that these two will be headed down the aisle. And in June 2025, Dua Lipa finally confirmed the two will be tying the knot soon. Here's what she had to say! Yes, Callum Turner and Dua Lipa are engaged! The actress tells that 'yes, we're engaged,' and that 'it's very exciting.' I don't know about y'all but I'm thrilled. 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling,' she continues, and they're in no rush. 'Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period. I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like, 'Oh, what would I wear?'' However, it sounds like Dua can't stop thinking about her ring. 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me," she adds. "It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' And will the couple be starting a family anytime soon? The singer admits 'it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take." 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens," she continues. "I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children." Dua Lipa and Callum Turner made their red carpet (er, blue carpet) debut at the 2025 Met Gala in complementary black outfits. Dua's sheer bodice and feathered skirt, plus her slick hairstyle, was giving contemporary flapper, while Callum looked dapper in a black suit and white tie. Peep Dua's ring on THAT finger! In a post celebrating the holidays, Dua Lipa posted a roundup of photos — led by a shot of her wearing a sherpa jacket and reindeer antlers. But as fun as her outfit is, the internet immediately focused on another detail: her new ring. It appears to be a diamond on a chunky gold band, and if you ask me, the ring's modern, glam look is the perfect vibe for the "Houdini" singer. "THE RING," one user commented, while another user said, "ENGAGED VIBESSSSSSSSSS," under another . And when Dua Lipa finally posted photos from her epic New Year's Eve celebration on January 3, a third user commented, "We all still waiting to see the 💍." TLDR; the singer's fans really want to know if she's engaged! But if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that this couple won't tell us unless they want to. And I'm here for it! Dua Lipa and Callum Turner keep their relationship pretty private (aside from some very cute walks), but according to one source, they've been "mad about each other" from the start. And it's clear because these two can't keep their hands off each other! "Dua and Callum are so in love and know this is forever," a source told in December 2024. 'They are engaged and couldn't be happier. Dua has had one of the best years of her career professionally and this is the cherry on the cake." "Callum is such a solid support for Dua and they make a wonderful couple," the source continues. "Their family and friends are so happy. It's been an amazing Christmas for them.' Stay tuned for the latest news on Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's engagement, and read up on ! This post has been updated.

Former MTV VJ Ananda Lewis dead at 52 after breast cancer battle

Ananda Lewis, the former MTV VJ and talk show host, has died after a six-year battle with breast cancer. She was 52. The Associated Press reported Lewis' death, citing her sister's Facebook announcement shared June 11. "She's free, and in His heavenly arms. Lord, rest her soul," Ananda's sister, Lakshmi Emory, wrote. Lewis' career began as a host on BET's "Teen Summit." She interviewed big names like Kobe Bryant, Tupac Shakur and the first lady at the time, Hillary Clinton, which later earned her an NAACP Image Award, according to The Associated Press. In 1997, Lewis shot to fame after she was hired as one of MTV's VJs, hosting "Hot Zone" and "Total Request Live." Lewis left MTV in 2001 and became the host of her own talk show, "The Ananda Lewis Show," which aired for one season. "She's free, and in His heavenly arms. Lord, rest her soul." Lewis told the AP in 2001 she faced backlash after leaving BET for MTV. "I wouldn't say in a strong way because I think most people who were in my fan base at 'Teen Summit' understand that growth is necessary. One of the main things we dealt with on a consistent basis, like the underlying theme of all the shows, is you've got to get out there and live your life," she said. "The bottom line is this is about you. So, how do you want to grow and whom do you want to develop into? My justification is that I say to kids, 'Be your best and take advantage of every opportunity.' So, I couldn't sit in a place of not taking advantage of an opportunity," she told the outlet at the time. In 2020, Lewis took to Instagram to share that she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. It advanced to Stage 4 last year. "This is tough for me, but if just ONE woman decides to get her mammogram after watching this, what I'm going through will be worth it. PRACTICE EARLY DETECTION. Share this with a woman you love. These 6 minutes could help save her life. I love you guys," Lewis captioned her video at the time. In her video, she noted that she was not getting routine mammograms due to her fear of radiation. Lewis later said doctors recommended a double mastectomy, but she opted for alternative methods. She eventually realized that was the wrong measure, becoming an advocate for being up to date with mammogram checkups. Lewis penned an essay for Essence in January and emphasized that "prevention is the real cure" when it comes to breast cancer. "We're not meant to stay here forever. We come to this life, have experiences — and then we go. "Being real about that with yourself changes how you choose to live. I don't want to spend one more minute than I have to suffering unnecessarily. That, for me, is not the quality of life I'm interested in. When it's time for me to go, I want to be able to look back on my life and say, 'I did that exactly how I wanted to,'" Lewis wrote. After walking away from her talk show, Lewis made appearances as a host on "The Insider," TLC's "While You Were Out," and A&E's "America's Top Dog."

Todd Chrisley breaks social media silence after 2 years: Here's what he said

Todd Chrisley breaks social media silence after 2 years: Here's what he said Show Caption Hide Caption Todd Chrisley speaks after Trump pardon, release from prison Reality TV star Todd Chrisley made his first public statement after he and his wife Julie received a pardon from President Donald Trump. Todd Chrisley has broken his social media silence for the first time since he went to prison for bank fraud and tax evasion. On June 12, the 56-year-old "Chrisley Knows Best" star took to Instagram to celebrate one of his children's achievements. Youngest son Grayson Chrisley, 19, made the dean's list after his first semester at the University of Alabama. "God is good all the time, @graysonchrisley," Todd captioned his post. "I love you to the moon and back and we couldn't be more proud, you have shown great character and fortitude and stood with your lord and savior amidst the fire and came out the other side never smelling of smoke, you are proof of (God's) word." The caption continued, "Stand tall, stand true and stand for your fellow brothers in Christ. I love you Gray Gray." More than 14,000 undergraduate students who earned a GPA of at least 3.5 made UA's dean's list in the spring semester; those who earn a 4.0 end up on the president's list. Fall semester enrollment totaled around 34,000 students, with spring enrollment numbers not yet released. Where does Grayson Chrisley go to college? Older sister Savannah Chrisley, 27, announced Grayson was moving to college in January. She shared clips from move-in day, captioning the post, "And just like that… my baby brother is off to college. Moving Grayson into the University of Alabama this weekend has been one of the hardest and most beautiful moments of my life. The past two years, Gray had every reason to give up, but instead, he showed up for himself and for the people he loves." Savannah continued, "We've never been apart… ever. And my heart feels like it's shattered into a million pieces. But my overwhelming sadness is matched only by the pride I feel watching him chase his dreams." What happened to Julie and Todd Chrisley? Todd's post came more than two weeks after he was released from FPC Pensacola in Florida, where he'd served more than two years of his nine-year prison sentence, following a full pardon from President Trump. When asked during a May 30 press conference whether he had any remorse for the crimes for which he was convicted, Todd said, "I'd have remorse if it was something that I did." In June 2022, Todd and wife Julie Chrisley, who portrayed themselves as real estate tycoons in the South on their USA Network shows, were found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks in Atlanta out of more than $36 million. The pair was accused of running a scheme that, through fraudulent loans, defrauded the IRS and committed tax evasion. Julie Chrisley was additionally convicted of obstruction of justice and wire fraud. Trump pardons reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley President Trump called Savannah Chrisley from the Oval Office in the White House to tell her he wanted to pardon her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. Todd Chrisley was initially sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie Chrisley received a seven-year sentence, and both reported to their respective federal prisons in January 2023. On May 27, Trump called the Chrisleys' middle daughter, Savannah Chrisley, to let her know her parents were "going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow." When Savannah took the podium at the May 30 press conference, she announced that the "Chrisley Knows Best" stars would be returning to reality television. Filming has apparently already begun on a new show that will document the reunification of Todd and Julie Chrisley.
