Oleksandra Lavrynenko was at the hospital after just giving birth. 'We woke up and heard a very loud whistle. My husband and I got up and quickly went to our little one, and at that moment there was a hit and the windows shattered,' she said.
They rushed to shelter one-day-old Maksym underground.
'It was very scary, because I was so full of adrenaline that I probably forgot that I had stitches. Now I am slowly recovering from the shock,' Lavrynenko said.
'It is very difficult and scary to give birth at this time,' she said, laying next to her son.

Nine people were injured in Kharkiv and an apartment building was also damaged in the attack. One person died and at least five more were injured as a result of various Russian attacks over the past day in the surrounding region, governor Oleh Syniehubov said.

The rate of COVID-19 hospitalization for children under 2 years is the highest among pediatric age groups, and for children aged 6-23 months, it is comparable to people aged 50-64 years, the group said on Tuesday, citing CDC data. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services earlier this month said it is reinstating a federal task force for safer childhood vaccines after a 27-year hiatus.

Traveler from Cuba stopped at airport after shocking find in bottle
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported an incident involving a traveler arriving from Cuba at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The federal agency used the case to issue a warning on Friday on social media after seizing a bottle containing what it described as a 'biological substance' whose importation into the country is regulated. After an inspection by CBP agricultural specialists, the bottle was ultimately confiscated, according to Jud Murdock, CBP's Director of Field Operations in Houston. 'All biological materials imported into the United States must be documented, labeled, packaged, marked and declared in accordance with applicable international, federal and state regulations,' CBP stated. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in delays in importation, civil or criminal penalties, and/or the seizure of the biological materials, CBP said. A Finnish politician has been found dead after reportedly committing suicide in the country's parliament, according to local reports. Eemeli Peltonen, 30, a first-term member of parliament for the left-wing Social Democratic Party (SDP), had been suffering from a kidney disease and was on sick leave when he took his own life on Tuesday morning inside Finland's Parliament Building in the capital Helsinki, Finnish outlet YLE reported. Police were called to the parliament just after 11 a.m. on Tuesday after reports that an MP had committed suicide inside the building, and Peltonen was identified later.
