Before UFC 319 lands in Chicago, the UFC APEX takes center stage once again this Saturday with a fight night card headlined by a compelling middleweight clash between Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez . With a mix of seasoned veterans and rising prospects, this event has all the ingredients to be an under-the-radar gem that might surpass expectations.Dolidze enters the bout riding a three-fight win streak across two divisions, most recently earning a dominant decision victory over Marvin Vettori to improve his record to 15-3. Since moving to middleweight, he's posted six wins in nine appearances, showcasing his durability and knockout power. On the other side, Hernandez is one of the division's most consistent forces. Tied with Caio Borralho for the third-longest active win streak at middleweight, Hernandez extended his streak to seven with a hard-fought victory over Brendan Allen in February. The 31-year-old has steadily improved, refining his approach with every outing and proving he belongs among the elite. Both fighters are on upward trajectories, and Saturday's main event could serve as a springboard into contender status. With title contenders Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev both ahead in the pecking order, a win here would position either of them for a high-profile matchup in the stacked 185-pound division.
