Air quality in city satisfactory, more rain likely
New Delhi, Aug 10 (PTI) The national capital on Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius, 7.8 notches below the season's average.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorm with rain and the maximum temperature expected to settle around 29 degrees Celsius.
Relative humidity was recorded at 95 per cent at 8:30 am.
The air quality was recorded in the 'satisfactory' category at 9 am on Sunday, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 68, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor', and 401 to 500 'severe'. PTI SHB DV DV

Delhi weather today: Light rain, thunderstorm likely in capital on Monday
Delhi is likely to receive rain, along with thunderstorm on Monday, with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to settle around 34 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius, the IMD said. Apart from rain on August 11, the capital is also expected to receive downpour from August 13 to August 15. Maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to remain between 33-35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will remain between 24-26 degrees Celsius. Rain, thunderstorms likely in Delhi as Himachal reels under monsoon fury
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday. The minimum daytime temperature is expected to range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is likely to remain near 33 to 35 degrees Celsius. Of these, 212 are in Mandi district and 92 in neighbouring Kullu, PTI reported. Since the onset of the monsoon on 20 June, the state has recorded 116 deaths and 37 missing in rain-related incidents, with estimated losses reaching ₹1,989 crore. Himachal Pradesh has so far experienced 58 flash floods, 30 cloudbursts and 54 major landslides.
