Commerce elementary student dies in crash
COMMERCE, Okla. — A Commerce student was killed on Monday in a fatal crash, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The 9-year-old juvenile's name has not been released. Commerce Public Schools sent the following statement:
The patrol said the cause of the crash is under investigation, but what is known is that the fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on South 490 Road, approximately seven miles west of Commerce.
Douglas Gray, 67, of Miami, was driving a 2018 Can-Am Defender. He and his passengers, Kaytelin Freeman, 31; Rodney Freeman, 36, and Noah Williams, 19, all of Miami, were not injured.
The child was flown by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa where he died, the patrol said.

Mayes County woman killed in car crash
PRYOR, Okla. – A 91-year-old Mayes County woman died from injuries she received in a May car crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported on Wednesday. Bettu Giles, of Pyror, was involved in the two-vehicle crash on May 29 and was flown by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head, trunk, and external injuries. OHP: Kasey Alert issued for 50-year-old Garfield County man
GARFIELD COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued a Kasey Alert for a 50-year-old Garfield County man. According to OHP, 50-year-old Donald Brasher was last seen driving a White Chevy Pickup truck with Oklahoma tag JSS555. The truck has large orange blinkers on the front and a silver toolbox in the back. Brasher is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
