Kali Uchis has signed with Capitol Records ahead of the release of her fifth studio album, 'Sincerely.'
Uchis revealed the title of her upcoming project on Monday with a video teaser posted to social media, simultaneously announcing her new partnership with Tom March, chairman and CEO of Capitol Records. They will work in tandem under the new banner of Interscope Capitol Labels Group, allowing Uchis to continue her long-standing relationship with Matt Morris, executive vice president of A&R at Interscope Geffen A&M.

'Kali Uchis is not only a true artist with a unique vision and an incredible amount of talent — she's also a culture-shifting force of nature,' said March. 'Her music transcends boundaries and borders, and it's an honor and a privilege to continue to head into this new era together.'
Uchis released 'Orquídeas,' her highest-charting album to date (debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200), last year. The set was nominated for best Latin pop album at the Grammy awards and best pop vocal album at the Latin Grammys.
'Thank you all for the well-intentioned wishes on this journey, and thank you to my team! I have boundless gratitude for my silent ascent throughout the years and am very much looking forward to what's next,' said Uchis.
+ Sony Music Publishing has signed Sevdaliza to a worldwide publishing agreement. This announcement follows the reveal of her upcoming show dates — a series of performances in São Paulo, Mexico City, Los Angeles and Brooklyn.
Known for her innovative artistry and genre-transcending sound, Iranian-Dutch singer, songwriter, and producer Sevdaliza earned widespread acclaim over the past year with her groundbreaking single 'Alibi' ft. Pabllo Vittar and Yseult, which ranked as TikTok's No. 3 global song of 2024, spent 15 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 and scored her first-ever placement on the Billboard Hot 100.
'I am excited to expand my creative work in songwriting and composing on a global scale with the world's leading music publisher, and look forward to collaborating with their incredible roster of talent,' shared Sevdaliza.

Three songs from Netflix's 'KPop Demon Hunters' soundtrack are in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 songs chart for the first time. Climbing to No. 10 from it's previous No. 14 spot, 'Soda Pop' from the fictional Saja Boys — performed by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo and samUIL Lee — adds to the success already achieved by 'Your Idol' (currently No. 4) and 'Golden' (No. 2). In the last week, 'Golden' by Huntr/x — comprised of trio of Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — hit a high at No. 1, becoming the first leading single from an all-female K-pop group in the chart's 60-plus year history. 'Golden' sits at No. 2 this week with significant impact: 32.8 million streams, 11.6 million in radio impressions and 7,000. Gunna had the highest debut on the list with 'The Last Wun' arriving at No. 3 with 80,000 equivalent album units earned. Machine Gun Kelly follows at No. 4 with 'Lost Americana,' marking his seventh top 10 project at 63,000 units earned. Jonas Brothers enter at No. 8 with 'Greetings From Your Hometown' logging 39,000 album units. BabyMetal — with official members Su-metal, Moametal and Momometal — scores its first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 as 'Metal Forth' debuts at No. 9 with 36,000 units earned. Star power may be a given at the VMAs, but music royalty is coming out in full force this year. As MTV's 2025 Video Music Awards quickly approach, the TV channel and music video pioneer is sharing new details from the jam-packed ceremony, which celebrates the top songs and music videos voted on by fans. This comes after VMA nominations were announced on Aug. 5. Pop icon Lady Gaga leads the nominations with 12 nods, including video of the year, artist of the year and best album, while her "Die with a Smile" collaborator, Bruno Mars, follows closely behind with 11 nominations. While it's unclear if Gaga, who is currently on the road with her Mayhem Ball tour, will make a special appearance at the show, MTV has begun unveiling its lineup of performances. Additionally, the ceremony's coveted awards, which include video of the year, artist of the year and song of the year, are being expanded with new career achievement prizes.
