Mukesh Rishi says Salman Khan is just misunderstood: 'He's incredibly friendly, we drank together'; recalls working with Amitabh Bachchan

Rishi hasshared screen space with Salman in many movies and shared a great bonding with him. He recalled how Salman was so friendly, as opposed to the kind of things people say about him and his mood swings. He said that Salman is misunderstood.
Opening up on it, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mukesh said, "Salman was someone I did two or three films with. He's incredibly friendly and always took the initiative to create a fun atmosphere in the evenings.
After pack-up, plans would be made to go out, maybe to a restaurant or a pub. That's the kind of bond we shared. Sometimes we'd even exercise together. There was a real sense of camaraderie."
He added, "I never experienced any mood swings from him. We never had a moment that felt off. Over time, of course, life changes, and distance grows as people stop meeting, stop attending parties, and stop working together. But I never saw that side of him.
In fact, people often misunderstand."
When asked if he's every partied with Salman, Rishi said, "Yes, we did drink together."
Meanwhile, Rishi has also shared screen space with Bachchan. Talking about him, he said, "I've done three to four films with Amit ji. There was always a respectful working relationship. He wasn't the kind to engage in lengthy conversations, but the rapport was always there. Love and respect can't be forced, they come from the heart."
When asked about his experience with
Akshay Kumar
, he added, "The conversations were limited to what happened on set." However, his revelation about Aamir Khan was quite the opposite of the usual perception about the star. Many think that perhaps Aamir would be in his shell or serious while working on a film, but Rishi said, "Wherever four people are sitting, his chair will find its way there," he laughed.

FEFKA's B Unnikrishnan shares update on Unni Mukundan and Vipin Kumar dispute: ‘It's settled'

As reported by Asianet News, FEFKA General Secretary B. Unnikrishnan confirmed that the two parties were brought together for a discussion and that the matter was amicably settled. He stated that the organization had not received any formal complaint against Vipin, and reiterated that no actresses have filed complaints either. 'The matter is outside our scope now…' B. Unnikrishnan further clarified that the union would not intervene in the police complaint filed by Vipin against Unni Mukundan. He also dismissed Unni's previous remarks that Vipin was never his manager and that complaints were pending against him within the organization, stating those claims were inaccurate. 'The matter is outside our scope now, as it is with the police,' he added. Vipin Kumar had earlier alleged in his police complaint that Unni Mukundan physically assaulted him after he posted a social media message praising Tovino Thomas's film Narivetta. According to Vipin, the actor was reportedly frustrated over the lack of film opportunities post-'Marco', and reacted aggressively during a confrontation. 'Without imposition, we will learn. Don't impose, because this is ultimately education and we must take the shortest route to education… and not put hurdles in its way,' the actor said. 'And English seems to be fair enough. You can do Spanish also, or Chinese. But I think the most practical thing where the shortest route to that is that we have 350 years of English education, slowly but steadily. So when you suddenly replace it, it's all over again. You make unnecessarily many people illiterate, especially in Tamil Nadu. What about my language? Am I not one of the 22 (official languages)? These are the questions that are coming.' Tamil is one of the 22 official languages of the country, apart from Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili and Dogri. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) had said it would not let 'Thug Life' release unless Haasan apologised for his Kannada-Tamil comment at a promotional event in Chennai. His banner Raajkamal Films International filed a plea before the Karnataka High Court seeking protection for the release of the film, which sees him reuniting with Mani Ratnam after 'Nayakan' in 1987.
