Aldi reintroduces temporarily discontinued Mamia nappies
Aldi is the fourth-largest supermarket in the UK, and consumer champion Which? has named it the UK's cheapest supermarket for the past four years.
The supermarket giant has discontinued several products recently, much to the disappointment of shoppers.
Some of these discontinued products include:
Discontinued UK chocolates and sweets
Aldi reintroduces temporarily discontinued baby products
Aldi also "temporarily" discontinued several of its Mamia nappies recently due to a "logistical issue".
The main products affected, according to shoppers, were the size 7 and 8 Mamia Ultra-Fit Nappy Pants.
Others have reported visiting several Aldi stores and finding all the nappy shelves empty.
Sorry about this. This product was temporarily unavailable, but should be back in stores soon 💙 — Aldi Stores UK (@AldiUK) April 25, 2025
Shoppers have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their complaints and ask Aldi why these nappies were out of stock.
One person, posting on X, wrote: "Hi @AldiUK is there a supply issue with your pull up nappies? I've tried three stores over the last few days with no joy.
"I am looking for 8s."

A third person commented: "@AldiUK Is there a stock issue with the Mamia pull up nappies in a size 7?
"I've tried 5 stores, 2 in Wales, and 3 in England…..but all of the nappy shelves are completely empty."
I have had confirmation that this item was temporarily discontinued but was introduced back and rolling into stores from 07/04/2025. Please keep an eye out Rhys ❤️ — Aldi Stores UK (@AldiUK) April 15, 2025
While this shopper said: "@AldiUK Is there a shortage of your Size 7 Nappy Pants?
"I've tried 5 stores so far and not found any. We've always used Mamia nappies! Any help appreciated!"
Despite shoppers still reporting some difficulties finding the previously discontinued baby products, Aldi has revealed it has begun rolling out stock of the nappies to stores across the country.

Aldi selling new fruity bubble teas but shoppers startled by price
Two new bubble tea flavours from The Juice Company have been spotted on the shelves of Aldi – but shoppers have been left startled by the amount of sugar in them and the cost Bubble tea is a highly popular drink in the UK now. The tea-based beverage, often containing chewy tapioca balls, milk, and flavouring, originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s. However, it is now a staple on the UK high street and is even served by the likes of Costa Coffee. So it's no surprise that supermarket Aldi has jumped on the trend and is offering some new fruity bubble tea flavours in-store. Two new bubble tea flavours from The Juice Company were spotted on the shelves of Aldi by popular account NewFoodsUK, who shared their finding on their Facebook page. One of these ready-to-drink flavours was passion fruit and mango, while the other was wild berry and blueberry. However, although a lot of supermarket shoppers seemed excited about the drinks, with hundreds of people liking the post and tagging their friends in it, others were stunned by one detail – the amount of sugar in them. The packaging showed that the drinks each contained 40.1g of sugar each in them, which is nearly half (45%) of your daily sugar recommendation. One person exclaimed: "40g of sugar," followed by a shocked emoji as many others liked the post. Another Facebook user replied: "Think I will pass." Someone else meanwhile wrote: "Ridiculously high in sugar," while a third person also pointed out the sugar content. A fourth also sarcastically added: "Not a lot of sugar in them at all..." As well as the sugar content, some people also weren't impressed with the price, which many claim is £3.99. One shopper moaned: "£3.99 for them… daylight robbery," while another agreed: "£3.99 thought it was a bit overpriced." However, someone else argued: "Had one yesterday from one of my local Aldis in the area and £3.99 for it wasn't bad price to be fair." Despite the gripes, many people admitted they 'couldn't wait to try them', meanwhile someone else who'd already had a taste shared their view, writing: "Tried the passion fruit one yesterday it was nice." Aldi has been contacted for comment. The news comes after another Aldi drink that 'lowers cholesterol and blood sugar' has been hitting budget supermarket is now selling a kombucha drink, which is also known for its immune system and gut health-boosting properties. Being sold at £1.69, shoppers can buy a 330ml bottle of The Juice Company Kombucha in stores. The nutritional drink is available in three flavours - including passionfruit, ginger and lemon and wild berry.
