Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer, 34, shares rare glimpse of her 66-year-old billionaire husband during family beach getaway to the Hamptons
Princess Diana 's niece took to Instagram on Monday to share a fleeting glimpse of her billionaire beau, 66, during a sun-soaked trip to the affluent summer destination.
The 34-year-old model and aristocrat, who is the eldest daughter of Earl Charles Spencer, shared a carousel of enviable snaps from the picturesque getaway.
Kitty's eagle-eyed followers were quick to spot her rarely-seen partner in a sweet clip with their daughter Athena, two, at the beach.
The video showed Kitty and her South African-born businessman husband holding the hands of their little girl, who was born in April 2023, as they paddled in the waves.
Kitty, who looked casual in jeans shorts and a white T-shirt, swept her blonde locks back in a hair clip as she accessorised with designer sunglasses.
Her husband Michael looked summery in a blue linen shirt and matching shorts as he held Athena's hand in the water.
Elsewhere in the Instagram carousel, Kitty shared several pictures, including one of her and her mini me daughter relaxing on the sand in matching knit jumpers, which featured the American flag.
In another snap, the blonde beauty can be seen in the garden tending to flowers with her lookalike daughter.
Lady Kitty has kept her relationship with the fashion mogul largely out of the public eye, rarely sharing photos of him on social media and choosing to step out solo for most red-carpet events.
The couple wed at the Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, a stunning country mansion with views of Rome, on July 24, 2021.
The celebrations stretched across four days and were attended by close friends, including the pop star Pixie Lott and the Marchioness of Bath. An expert estimated the day itself would have cost in excess of £1million.
Photographs shared at the time gave snapshots of the day, including the bride's wardrobe of bespoke Dolce & Gabbana gowns, including her wedding dress.
The model caught the eye of business tycoon when they met through mutual friends in 2018.
Lady Kitty has made a name for herself in the fashion world, as a spokesmodel for Dolce & Gabbana, who supplied five dresses for her wedding, and walking in several Fashion Weeks across the globe.
Meanwhile, Michael knows a thing or two about fashion as well, being the chairman of the Foschini Group, which owns British high street chains Whistles and Phase Eight.
The tycoon is believed to be worth £80million, with a £19million property in London and another home in his native South Africa, where his wife grew up after her Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer and his first wife, Victoria Lockwood, divorced.
Michael comes from wealth, thanks to his grandfather's furniture retail business, which was founded in the 1930s.
Stanley Lewis, Michael's father, bought a stake in the closing retailer Foschini Group in the 1980s, with Michael later taking his place on the Foschini Group board.
The tycoon has been the board's chairman since 2015 and presides over a vast retail empire.
Michael, who is five years older than Lady Kitty's father, wed his first wife in 1985, and the pair welcomed three children before eventually calling it quits.
It is thought that the businessman and Kitty met through friends in 2018, with their relationship being made public when the pair were spotted leaving a New York hotel together in 2019.
He proposed to the society model shortly before Christmas 2019 and their engagement became public in January 2020.
His three adult children from a previous marriage attended his and Lady Kitty's Italian nuptials in 2021, and the socialite is understood to have formed strong relationships with her husband's children.
Michael and Kitty had their first child together in April 2023, and they shared a rare glimpse of their daughter Athena to mark her second birthday this year.
Kitty took to Instagram to share a heartwarming message about her little one alongside a series of intimate family snaps.
The little girl has a stock of blonde hair just like her mother and was shown running on beaches, on an Easter Egg hunt and toddling through London.
'Two years of you lighting up our world, my darling Athena.
'You are sunshine and joy and all things magic. My little girl forever.
'How proud I am to be your mummy. I love you more than you could ever imagine or I could ever articulate,' the model, who is a first cousin of Prince William, wrote.
Alongside the beautiful message, Kitty shared several pictures including one of her dressed in a white crotchet co-ord as she held her little girl, dressed in a blue and white dress, as they walked along the beach.
In a second black and white picture, the socialite bent down on the sandy beach and could be seen beaming as she chatted to Athena - who she secretly gave birth to in April last year.
And that wasn't the only birthday message for the toddler who received equally charming posts from her aunts Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia.
In a separate social media post Eliza, 32, shared a picture of her elder sister playing with Athena on a beach in Cape Town, where the family grew up.
Dressed only in a white shirt with her blonde locks falling over her shoulders, Kitty reached out to her daughter who wore a matching white Broderie Anglais dress.
Eliza also shared a close up black and white photo of Athena feet in the sand and wrote alongside the adorable snaps: 'Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweetest little love. You are my whole heart, and I love and cherish you more than you will ever know. Thank you for giving us the greatest gift @kitty.spencer'.
Taking to her Instagram story the model also poked fun at her sisters kitty and Amelia, sharing a picture of the toddler in a pink toy car.
She wrote over the picture: 'Already better than her mummy and aunties'.
And Eliza's twin sister Amelia also got in on the action sharing previously unseen family pictures including a black and white one of little Athena climbing up some steps while her mother Kitty holds her hands.

Kristin Davis opens up about having ‘disordered eating'
Kristin Davis disclosed on her podcast, Are You a Charlotte?, that continuous discussion about her body during her time on Sex and the City caused her to develop disordered eating. She recounted that co-star Sarah Jessica Parker once suggested she had body dysmorphia, a notion Davis initially dismissed, believing it was due to public perception of her 'pear-shaped' figure. Davis confessed to engaging in extreme dieting, including an instance where she fainted in a car park, as a result of the intense scrutiny and pressure regarding her appearance. She also shared that fans would often comment on her not being 'fat' when meeting her, which she understood as a compliment but felt was in comparison to Sarah Jessica Parker. The Sex and the City spin-off, And Just Like That..., is set to conclude after its third season.

US Vice President meets The Apprentice's Tom Skinner for ‘BBQ & a few beers' as Vance ‘set for breakfast with Farage'
US Vice-President JD Vance has met The Apprentice's Tom Skinner for a barbecue and some beers ahead of his breakfast with Nigel Farage. President Donald Trump's deputy had spent the weekend with his friend and foreign secretary David Lammy at Chevening in Kent before enjoying the party with Skinner on Monday. 4 4 4 The pair have bonded in recent weeks over social media, culminating in the "invitation" to the event with the vice-president. Writing on social media this evening, Skinner said: "When the Vice President of the USA invites ya for a BBQ an beers, you say yes. "Unreal night with JD and his friends n family. He was a proper gent. "Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh." Pictures from the night show the pair smiling and showing thumbs up, with Skinner dressed in a shirt and tie while Vance opted for a more casual short-sleeve shirt. This comes ahead of a meeting between the US vice-president and Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage tomorrow. The pair will have breakfast in the Cotswolds as Vance enjoys both business and pleasure during his UK summer holiday. Already, Vance has held meetings with a number of other political figures during his trip, including Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick. He had tried to set up a meeting with his friend Kemi Badenoch but their schedules were not compatible. Vance has shown an increasing interest in Reform UK, with it being reported in July he had asked Peter Mandelson about the party, noticing that "they're doing very well". Other attendees at Monday's barbecue were Cambridge academic James Orr and Tory MP Danny Kruger. Describing the image of Vance and Skinner at the event, the former Apprentice star said: "Here is a pic of Me and Vice President towards the end of the night after a few beers. "I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops. "Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh." Skinner has found himself catapulted to fame over recent years, following his appearance on The Apprentice in 2019. More recently, his posts on social media have struck a chord among many, with some urging him to run for political office. His meeting with one of the most powerful political figures globally could be a natural stepping stone towards that. VANCE HOLIDAYING ACROSS UK JD Vance 's trip to the UK has seen him travelling through the Cotswolds and southern England with his family. The vice-president, his wife Usha, and children Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 3, were seen travelling together in an extensive motorcade. Some locals were left disgruntled, however, as he visited a posh farm shop in the area - leading to a number of road closures and security checkpoints manned by police with sniffer dogs. His 18-strong motorcade caused disruption around Chipping Norton as the VP visited the Daylesford Organic farm shop. Several large black SUVs carrying people believed to be Secret Service agents were seen parked on the driveway. It came after a meeting with Foreign Secretary David Lammy at Chevening House in Kent on Friday. The pair are understood to have forged an unlikely friendship, even spending time with each other's families outside of business meetings. During their meeting, the VP urged Britain to avoid the "very dark path" of silencing free speech. He warned that the West has grown "a little too comfortable with censoring" during his press conference with the foreign secretary. He said: "I think the entire collective West, the transatlantic relationship, our Nato allies, certainly the United States under the Biden administration, got a little too comfortable with censoring rather than engaging with a diverse array of opinions." Mr Vance has previously slammed Britain for enforcing some of the toughest restrictions on free speech globally. In February, during a televised meeting between Sir Keir Starmer and Donald Trump in the Oval Office, the Vice President flagged that "infringements on free speech" are now impacting not only Brits but also American tech firms, "and by extension American citizens". Vance's latest tirade comes after the UK launched a divisive new Online Safety Act which targets children's social media usage.

Shrek 5 release date is delayed until 2027 as fans say they all 'know why'
The release of Shrek 5 has been delayed until summer 2027. The upcoming DreamWorks' movie — whose teaser was slammed by fans — has been pushed back six months, moving from December 23, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Upon hearing the news, initially reported by Variety, fans commented online that they 'know why' the beloved franchise's latest installment has been stalled. 'We all know why,' Instagram user @taco_chacos wrote, while @solomon_br0 demanded, 'Fix that animation.' Eagle-eyed viewers called out the studio earlier this year after they noticed changes to Shrek's appearance. They accused animators of giving the titular character 'rhinoplasty, lip filler, cheek implants, and a jaw shave' among other tweaks. Upon hearing the news, initially reported by Variety, fans commented online that they 'know why' the beloved franchise's latest installment has been stalled Another person reacted, 'Good! Hope that means they're fixing the animation and writing.' Someone else addd confidently: 'They're changing the character design, we all know that.' 'Hopefully this means they're changing the character design,' another moviegoer echoed. And @zenskittles contributed, 'Still time to change the character designs,' with crossed fingers. @emilyjeffri wishfully wrote that the delay is to 'hopefully make the animation look somewhat similar' to the previous movies. Others urged the studio to take its time while making adjustments to the project. 'Take your time DreamWorks. Take your time,' @maxhechtman advised. @adamcanterbury94 shared a GIF that read: 'That's okay, I'll wait!!' Variety reported that 'the studio didn't give a reason for the hold-up,' but Deadline attributed it to the summer being a 'better' season for the debut. @emilyjeffri wishfully wrote that the delay is to 'hopefully make the animation look somewhat similar' to the previous movie It's the second delay for the film, which was originally slated for a July 2026 release. The new Shrek flick will be the first film in the main series since Shrek Forever After was released in 2010 and sees Zendaya join the cast as the titular ogre's daughter Felicia. Meanwhile, Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz will return to lend their voices to Shrek, Donkey and Fiona respectively. Eddie has suggested that Shrek 5 will be packed full of comedy just as the preceding films have been. The 64-year-old actor told Extra in June: 'I've recorded some great stuff. You know, we don't get a full script when we do the Shrek movies. We get the dialogue that we're doing for each session. And I know I've been doing some really funny stuff.' Eddie explained that he will only get to see his co-stars at the premiere of the movie as all of his voice work for the picture was done alone. He said: 'At the end of the movie or when the movie comes out, we see each other at the premiere, but we don't see each other the whole movie. 'It's all just you by yourself and a microphone.' The Hollywood fixture revealed that Donkey is getting his own standalone film that will begin production in September. Asked if Shrek 5's animation is being worked on now, he told ScreenRant in July: 'No, they're still doing voiceover stuff. We're still in the booth, and literally, we're still doing Shrek. 'We start in September on Donkey. We're doing a Donkey one, and that'll be three years from now, but we're about two years into Shrek 5. Still in the booth and about to start Donkey in September.' The Beverly Hills Cop star confirmed that Donkey will be getting in his own film in the same way that Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) has previously and that the picture will see him have his 'own little story with his dragon wife.' 'They've written this funny story. We're doing that, starting that in September,' he reiterated. The prospect of Shrek 5 was first discussed by Illumination founder Chris Meledandri in 2023 as he expressed hope of reuniting the original cast for the movie. The film producer told Variety: 'We anticipate the cast coming back. Talks are starting now, and every indication that we've gotten is there's tremendous enthusiasm on behalf of the actors to return.'
