Mama Elephant Patiently Trying to Get Her Baby to Stop Playing With Humans Is Too Cute to Resist originally appeared on PetHelpful.
Baby animals are curious, mostly friendly little ones who enjoy interacting with others and learning about the world around them. And if you're a parent, you know how stubborn kids can be when they want to (or don't want to!) do something you're telling them to do. Daily Mail Animals shared this adorable video of a baby elephant who made friends with some humans on safari in Tanzania, and the baby doesn't want to leave them!
Watch as the mom does everything she can to get her little one to step away from the jeep, all while keeping her cool. At one point, she even tries the classic 'mom move' of walking away, hoping her baby will follow; does the situation look familiar to anybody else?!
That mom is all of us when our kids won't listen! There's no way that we would've been able to keep our hands to ourselves and would've desperately wanted to reach out and touch the baby's cute little trunk! And was it just us, or did it look like the baby was smiling? The whole thing was just adorable!Comment
Our hearts can't take all this cuteness! We weren't the only ones smitten with the baby elephant. Viewers left hundreds of comments on Daily Mail Animals' video and some of them were too cute. @stonerspartan got more than 17 thousand likes when they pointed out, "Omg her nose wave at the end, like, 'Sorry, my bad' LOL!" @inappropriatesalad agreed, "She waved like Sorry about that, kids ya know?'"
Viewer @Brittany added, "Mama tried the 'Fine I'm leaving then! Bye' LOL!", and another commenter shared, "The baby is like what the heck is this thing, and the mum is just like the thing is not for little elephants let's go. Like I can hear the 'But muuuuummm'...."
@llorien75 made us laugh out loud when she shared, "Makes me wonder why we judge each other so much. Moming is such a universal thing, even the elephants are using the same methods...and failing because toddlers are harrrrd LOL!"
Commenter @firefam2006 joked, "Mama elephant just made eye contact with the driver and said, 'Could you really just freaking drive away now please?'!"
Reading through the comments was just as fun as watching the video, and both things totally made our day.

Calico Cat Spotted 'Skateboarding' on Lazy Susan Gets Points for Creativity

Calico Cat Spotted 'Skateboarding' on Lazy Susan Gets Points for Creativity originally appeared on PetHelpful. When you have a curious cat at home, nothing is safe from their wandering paws. After all, cats love to climb, scratch, and squeeze into tight spaces, and when a cat is determined, not much can stop them. Luckily, many cats are also light on their feet and aware of their surroundings. They can be surprisingly nimble if they put their minds to it! Whether they're scaling walls or skateboarding on a Layz Susan like Marzipan the calico cat, our feline friends are parkour experts. Marzipan has been having the time of her life ever since her family brought home a new Lazy Susan for their table. It seems like a helpful tool to have for family dinners, but it's also the coolest new toy for this tri-colored cat and her fur siblings. Somebody call Tony Hawk, because this cat is about to give him a run for his money! Marzipan is a natural skateboarder, from the way she gains momentum to the way she tucks her body in to spin faster. "Be careful," a commenter warned. "If she spins too much, she might take flight." Flying cats would unleash a level of chaos the world isn't yet ready for, but fortunately, they're still fiction (for now, anyways). As another viewer pointed out, this Lazy Susan makes the perfect cat toy for felines with short attention spans. When they're done spinning, they'll have a blast pushing off all the dishes you place on the table to serve! Marzipan, the calico kitty, may be one in a million, but she's not the only one who likes using the Lazy Susan as a ride. Just ask her feline brother, Berlioz! These chaotic cats couldn't be any cuter, even if they make themselves comfortable on the dining room furniture. If that's the sacrifice needed to raise healthy, happy cats, then so be it! Why Do Cats Climb? It's no secret that cats love to crawl and climb. After all, that's why we have feline home accessories like cat trees and towers! Sometimes, though, this isn't enough to satisfy a curious kitty, which is why they make their own adventures as they go. Cats have always had a natural inclination to climb. This trait has been passed down from their wild ancestors, although some cats may be more persistent climbers than others. You might have a cat like Spider-Man, who enjoys scaling walls and reaching high places. Alternatively, you could have playful and curious felines that have swapped climbing for spinning!

Naughty Goldendoodle Sneaks Into the Bath for Playtime & It's Too Cute

Naughty Goldendoodle Sneaks Into the Bath for Playtime & It's Too Cute originally appeared on PetHelpful. No one said raising a puppy was easy! And a new video online is proof of that fact. Kate probably expected a little mischief when she got a Goldendoodle puppy. But alas, her new dog is definitely a 'menace to society' and now she has people cracking up online. There are things about puppyhood that they don't warn you about. And this was one of them! All Kate wanted to do was clean up after her kids took a bath, but boy did she get a surprise instead. You could tell the dog was up to no good even before the woman turned into the bathroom. 'This dog is an absolute menace to society,' the woman said in the footage. Poor Kate hadn't drained her kids' bathtub yet and the Goldendoodle took advantage of it. She'd made her own personal splash pad in the bathroom! Which was fun for her but was probably not exactly thrilling for Kate.'What are you doing?' the woman asked from behind the camera. 'Oh, just playing around in the tub. Do you want to join?' we can imagine the pup saying. 'Are you living your best life?' the woman teased. Yep, you could certainly say that for sure. 'Oh Stormi Jean, you're such a goober,' she kidded. The comments section absolutely loved Kate's little troublemaker Goldendoodle. What a little sneak! 'Once she realized she wasn't in trouble she went for it!' joked one person. 'I love that you're letting it enjoy the moment,' someone else praised. 'God forbid a girl wants to practice her spelling whilst getting clean,' joked a third person. 'Where did you get a self washing dog? They got that on Amazon?' kidded another commenter. Do Dogs Like Baths? You may have noticed that some dogs love their tub time (or maybe they just like making a mess!), but some dogs really don't like taking baths. Even dogs that like other bodies of water might not love baths. It really depends on the dog and the breed. Some dogs might even get totally spooked from the bath! So be gentle with your dog and take your time. Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos. Grouchy Orange Cat's Attitude Proves He's Not a Fan of Mornings

Grouchy Orange Cat's Attitude Proves He's Not a Fan of Mornings originally appeared on PetHelpful. Just like many of us, some animals aren't exactly morning people, er, pets. Take Waffles, an orange cat with a serious case of the Mondays. He was snuggled up in bed with his humans when his canine sister, a Golden Retriever named Maple, came cheerfully in to say good morning. But Waffles wasn't having it. His day—and ultimately his week—seemed to go downhill from there. Watch to see all the things that put Waffles in a mood, like his humans daring to get out of bed before he decides it's time, the presence of the 'spare human,' and having to constantly remind Mom when it's time for dinner or snacks. Let's just say Waffles has some strong opinions about how their days should go, and he isn't afraid to let them all know! We get it, Waffles! We don't know many people who enjoy getting up in the morning, especially people and pets who are morning people! Commenter @Eliza was on the same page: "Waffles looks so grumpy in the morning, can relate to that feeling!" @Osquire the Osquin felt the same way, too, "Waffles is 100% correct about mornings."Funny Reactions to Grouchy Waffles the Orange Cat Commenters got a kick out of grouchy Waffles' reaction to the world around him, too. @Grizzly Adams pointed out, "Awhh Maple was trying so hard to be low energy in the morning LOL!" @millaroo agreed, "Poor Maple always catching some skippity paps," while @KIMY added, "Love how Maple doesn't take Waffle's annoyance personally!" @Rosanna shared, "I wonder if Maple thinks that Waffles' hissing is his version of the little huff dogs do to show they're only playing. I love her annoying little sister energy!" Commenter @J wasn't wrong when he said, "I feel like the spare is making more inroads toward being taken seriously by Waffles." @alkman did not agree, admitting, "Spare is getting on my nerves tbh..." @Ceciliaaaa responded, making us laugh with, "Waffles propaganda LOL!" @Rachel Baker cracked us up with, 'I'm with Waffles on the excitable morning energy. No thanks!" @Tortuga pointed out, "Waffles woke up and chose violence LOL!" @Mohammed H Abed wasn't wrong when he shared, "Waffles acting like he's paying the bills and owns the place!" There's really nothing cuter than a grouchy cat!
