A doctor under investigation for the murder of her lover was instructed by her husband to delete a video that captured the attack, Brazilian authorities have revealed.
Ivan Bonotto, 35, was stabbed March 22 at a bar in Sorriso, Mato Grosso that is owned by the gynecologist's partner before he died after going into cardiac arrest on April 13.
Bonotto was rushed to Sorriso Regional Hospital, where Dr. Sabrina de Mello arrived four minutes after he was admitted, according to the Mato Grosso Civil Police.
Dr. de Mello, a mother-of-two, was dressed in scrubs and told security that she was there to visit Bonotto, whom she described as a friend.
The physician was seen on video walking behind the hospital staff as they hurried him to the operating room and deleting text messages and the footage of the fight that Bonotto recorded on his cell phone.
Dr. de Mello told investigators that she erased the messages and video because she was looking to 'protect the victim.'
On Tuesday, authorities arrested Dr. de Mello, on charges of procedural fraud and obstruction of justice. Tacca was taken into custody for masterminding the attack while his friend, local businessman Danilo Guimarães, was arrested for killing Bonotto.
Bonotto was a good friend of Tacca and often stayed at the family residence.
A selfie taken by Dr. de Mello showed Bonotto drinking a beer and a smiling Tacca in the background.
'Thanks for the visit,' the doctor's caption read.
Two other captions read: 'They go, I don't' and 'Excellent company.'
Another photo taken by the gynecologist showed her, Bonotto and Tacca at a pool.
Surveillance video footage showed Bonotto visiting the home March 9 and kissing the doctor in the garage.
They spent some time inside the residence before they walked out and kissed again.
After learning that one of his closest friends and his wife were romantically involved, Tacca lured Bonotto to his bar, where he and Guimarães faked the scene of a fight, which Bonotto is said to have captured on video.
At one point, Guimarães attacked Bonotto and stabbed him multiple times.
Tacca presented himself at a police station and told investigators that he did not know Bonotto and that the brawl was sparked by drinking at the bar.
Guimarães indicated that he was involved in the fight, but that he stabbed Bonotto to protect himself.
Mato Grosso Civil Police chief Bruno Brança said they discovered that Tacca and Guimarães remained at the bar and spoked for 'one minute and 42 seconds.'
'After the person [Guimarães] left, the bar owner waited another 11 minutes, with the victim in critical condition, to take him to the hospital,' he said.
'The claim that he had called the police and fire department is false. There was no connection in the records.'
'What we know is that the story about a bar fight is a lie,' Brança added. 'There was no fight, no self-defense, no racist abuse. What happened was an attack from behind, which we believe was planned.'

Police appeal for information after video shows Tommy Robinson standing next to an 'unconscious man' at London's St Pancras Station - as he yells 'he f***ing came at me, bruv'

Police have launched an investigation after a man was left unconscious at a busy London railway station last night. Paramedics rushed to St Pancras Station at around 8.40pm and the man was taken to hospital with 'serious injuries'. Footage circulating online shows right-wing activist Tommy Robinson pacing back and forth beside the unresponsive man lying face-down on the floor. The right-wing political activist had earlier posted footage of him handing out flyers inside the station for an upcoming 'free speech' protest on September 13. He later appeared to be walking in the background as security were called to help the unconscious man. As stunned bystanders look on, one Good Samaritan can be heard urgently shouting: 'Can we get some help over here!' But Robinson, visibly agitated, throws his arms in the air before turning and walking away down a staircase, repeatedly protesting his innocence: 'He f***ing came at me, bruv. He come at me bruv, you saw that.' The British Transport Police (BTP) has since launched an investigation into the alleged assault at around 8.40pm on Monday. 'Officers attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening,' a BTP spokesperson told MailOnline. 'Overnight the investigation has been ongoing and officers have been making arrest enquiries.' The scuffle comes just hours after Robinson posted a video to his X account, claiming he was in London preparing for what he called 'the biggest free speech event the world has ever seen.' In the clip, Robinson said: 'Today we have walked the route of our event on September 13, where we will be meeting at Waterloo Station.' He added: 'Make your plans. We are having a festival of fun, of British identity, of celebration of every single bit of it.' Despite his history of clashes with the law, Robinson claimed organisers had been 'working with the police' and described their approach as 'very cooperative', insisting: 'We have a good relationship with them, we want fun, they are not our enemy.' Robinson has become a lightning rod for controversy in recent years, often leading far-right rallies and protests across the UK. He was unable to attend his previous high-profile protest, 'Unite the Kingdom', last October after being remanded in custody. Union Jack-waving crowds gathered in Whitehall at the time, chanting 'Oh Tommy Tommy' and 'We want Starmer out' while demanding Robinson's release. Many demonstrators wore 'I am Peter Lynch' badges - a nod to the 61-year-old who died in prison after shouting abuse at riot police outside a hotel housing asylum seekers. Others waved flags reading: 'RIP Peter Lynch. Political prisoner.' Videos of Robinson were played out to the crowd, in which he railed against so-called two-tier policing and Ulez charges, as plumes of cannabis smoke drifted through the air. In October, Robinson was sentenced to 18 months in prison after breaching a High Court injunction from 2021 that barred him from repeating false claims about a Syrian refugee. He admitted 10 breaches of the order. In May, his sentence was reduced by four months by the High Court. Robinson, who was previously due to be released on July 26, applied to purge his contempt, with his lawyers telling the court he had shown a 'commitment' to comply with the order. The British Transport Police is urging witnesses or anyone with footage of the incident to text 61016 quoting reference 655 of 28 July.

EXCLUSIVE Gage Wilson vanished from his Mullumbimby home at dawn. Search parties found his ute crashed into a tree - but no trace of him. Now his heartbroken family has a chilling theory about his mysterious fate

A grieving family is demanding answers one year on from the mysterious death of Gage Wilson whose body was found almost three months after he suddenly vanished. Mr Wilson, 31, was last seen at his Mullumbimby home in far northern NSW about 5am on May 18, 2024. His abandoned white ute was later found crashed into a tree on Koonyum Range Road in Wilsons Creek, less than 10km away in the Byron Bay hinterland. Family, friends and the local community searched for three months until Mr Wilson's remains were found on August 4 at an abandoned property 1km from the ute crash. Almost one year on, the circumstances of his death still remain shrouded in mystery. Now his sister Niki Manidakis has broken her silence to reveal her sinister fear that Mr Wilson was brutally murdered. On the eve of the first anniversary of his body being found, the family has now been told an inquest into his death will be held in the coming months. But Ms Manidakis is adamant her brother met with foul play, and insisted: 'This doesn't feel like a tragic accident - this feels deliberate and staged.' 'I have no doubt in my mind that Gage was murdered,' she told Daily Mail Australia. 'I can't say more than that right now out of respect for the coronial process, however I believe the truth will come out. 'I think the question we keep coming back to is: Why wasn't more done? Why hasn't Gage's case received the urgency and attention it deserved from the start? 'There are pieces of this that don't make sense and until we have answers, we're left questioning everything.' Within the first two days of the hunt for Mr Wilson, police found his clothing, but no other trace of him. The family then coordinated searches, organised volunteers, chased leads and raised awareness until their worst fears were realised three months later. Ms Manidakis spent weeks spearheading the search while pregnant with her fourth child. 'Instead of being able to rest or grieve, I found myself desperately searching for my brother alongside my family,' she said. 'This meant the responsibility fell entirely on us. Our persistence and hard work - not the police - led to Gage being found. 'We had to organise volunteers, coordinate mapping, spread awareness, chase leads, all while in survival mode.' Gage's death rocked the entire family, she said. 'Emotionally, we're still in limbo. There's trauma, a million unanswered questions, and a deep sadness that's settled into everything,' Ms Manidakis said. 'It's not something you ever truly recover from.' She is hopeful that a new public appeal and the upcoming inquest will finally shed some light of the tragic mystery. 'Our family needs closure, and Gage deserves justice,' she said, ahead of National Missing Persons Week which coincides with the anniversary of the discovery of his remains. 'The community deserves to feel protected and to trust that if someone they love goes missing, their case will be taken seriously. 'Gage wasn't just a name on a list. He was a person, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a grandchild and he mattered.' Ms Manidakis has now launched renewed appeals on social media for information about her brother's death. 'Nothing about what happened makes any sense,' she posted. 'His body was found in a place that had already been searched. 'To date, police have not said they've ruled out foul play, and neither can we.' Ms Manidakis also listed the names of dozens of men who vanished or died in similar circumstances in the Byron Bay region since 2019. Mr Wilson disappeared almost five years to the day after Belgian backpacker Theo Hayez, 18, who vanished after leaving Cheeky Monkeys bar in Byron Bay on May 31, 2019. His remains have never been found. 'This isn't over and I won't stop,' Ms Manidakis added. NSW Police was unable to comment on whether foul play had been ruled out. 'As the matter is before the coroner, no further comment can be made regarding the investigation,' a spokesman said. 'The officer in charge of the investigation continues to offer assistance to the family.' Ms Manidakis urged anyone with information to come forward. 'If you know something but you're scared to come forward, I understand. But this is bigger than fear,' she said. 'You don't have to be publicly involved. You can remain anonymous. Please contact me directly or speak to Crime Stoppers. 'Any piece of information, no matter how small, could help bring the truth to light.' A GoFundMe page set up for Mr Wilson at the time of his death described him as 'a unique individual with a wonderful, generous heart', leaving loved ones with 'profound disbelief and sorrow'. 'Gage was a gentle, free spirit, with a deep love for peace, nature, and humanity. We can only hope that his final moments were as serene as his soul,' it added. 'This is our worst nightmare, and our hearts ache for other families of missing loved ones in the Byron Shire area. We send our love and strength to those who are grieving alongside us.'

Tommy Robinson shouts ‘you saw him come at me' as man lays unconscious on floor after St Pancras ‘assault'

TOMMY Robinson has been filmed in an angry row while a man lies face down at a train station - with cops making "arrest enquiries" overnight. Video shows the far right activist being confronted by a bystander on the concourse at St Pancras Station in London yesterday evening before cops swarmed the scene. 6 6 6 Robinson walks down the steps towards the platform while another man can be heard saying "quick, quick, can we get someone here quick" to staff. Robinson then comes back up the stairs and appears to tell the bystander "he come at me bruv, you saw that, he come at me" before the clip ends. The other man can be heard saying "quick, quick, can we get someone here quick" to staff. A bystander is heard shouting "Tommy, Tommy" in the background Cops say a man was taken to hospital with "serious injuries" and an investigation continued through the night. It is not thought any arrests have yet been made. Photos show forensic officers later at the scene, taking DNA samples from the handrail down to the platform, with blood stains visible just above the stairs. Paramedics had reportedly used a blood transfusion bag to treat the alleged victim. British Transport Police told The Sun this morning: 'Officers were called to St Pancras station just after 8.40pm yesterday (28 July) following reports of an assault. "Officers attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening. "Overnight the investigation has been ongoing and officers have been making arrest enquiries." A witness said around eight police vehicles were lined up outside on both sides of the station after the incident. They told LBC: "I saw an unconscious man being worked on by paramedics – they erected curtains around him. "They were trying to resuscitate him – and there was what looked like a blood transfusion bag. "The station was still open as normal while the incident was being dealt with." Earlier in the day, EDL founder Robinson - real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - filmed himself at the station where he was handing out flyers for an upcoming protest. His video, posted on X, was titled "Spreading the word". He can be heard encouraging a man off screen to attend, saying: "Make sure you bring your friends, bruv... it's gonna be massive, man." It's understood an argument had broken out at the station. A BTP spokesperson said yesterday: "Officers are aware of an incident tonight (28 July) at St Pancras station and are investigating. "If anyone has any information regarding the incident please text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 reference 655 of 28 July." The Sun has contacted the Met Police and London Ambulance Service for further information. 6 6 6
