NYT ‘Strands' Today: Hints, Spangram And Answers For Saturday, June 7th
Today's NYT Strands hints and answers Credit: New York Times Looking for Friday's Strands hints, spangram and answers? You can find them here: I'm back for real this time. I tackled a couple of my colleague Paul Tassi's Strands puzzles earlier this week as he attended to some big family business, but now it's my turn to guide you through this week's uncovering of words. It's the weekend! Let's dive right in. Strands is the newest game in the New York Times' stable of puzzle games. It's a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we're given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day's theme. Spoilers ahead. Read on for today's theme and some hints to help you uncover today's words. Instead of giving you the first two letters of each word, today I'm giving out three hints instead of two. Today's Theme: I am what I am Hint: Unfortunately, this is not a reference to Popeye the Sailor Man. Clue: This is actually about you. I'm Popeye the sailor man!' but alas, this was not the case. The words were all about the self, and when I found that word I tracked it backwards to BEYOURSELF, today's spangram. Most of these were pretty easy. HUMAN, SOUL, PERSON. The trickier ones were MORTAL and INDIVIDUAL, but overall this was one of the easier Strands I've tackled recently.
