Fans were able to watch Episode 1 early on YouTube during a live stream. Showrunner
Dallas Jenkins
announced that a few episodes will continue to stream on YouTube before their Prime Video release. Episode 3 will stream live on YouTube on June 18 at 8:00 p.m. EST. Other YouTube streaming dates for remaining episodes have not been finalized.
Viewers who do not use Prime Video will still be able to watch the show for free. Season 5 will be available on The Chosen App from September 13, 2025. This release date is 90 days after the season's debut on Prime Video.

In reply, the Nobody Wants This star stated that he "tried real hard" for the part. "It was like 1999, I auditioned for it, I wanted it, I didn't get it. But I would've loved it," he added.
