Woman killed in Midlands tractor crash as man arrested
The motorcyclist, aged in her 50s, collided with a tractor on the A449 Ross Road shortly after 10.30am yesterday, July 19.
She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving following the fatal crash.
He has since been released under investigation as police enquires continued.
West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses of the incident to contact the force.
It said the woman was travelling on a Honda CBF 500 motorbike along the A449 from Ledbury, towards Preston Cross roundabout.

The tractor driver was driving a John Deere tractor towing a trailer containing seed drill.
He was leaving a farm waiting to turn right onto the A449 towards Preston Cross Roundabout, the force added.
PC Danny Somner of West Mercia Police said: "Our thoughts are with the woman's loved ones, following yesterday's tragic collision.
'We're keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage to support our investigation.

The driver of the van, a 40-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail. Enquiries are ongoing and witnesses are now being urged to come forward. Dangerous U-turn that went viral leads Kluang police to driver who nearly caused crash (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — Police have arrested a 51-year-old local man for driving against traffic at a busy junction in Kluang, Johor, following a viral video clip showing the incident. The 24-second video, which was circulated on Facebook, shows a Proton Exora being driven against the flow of traffic at a slip road near Taman Megah. According to Kluang police, the incident occurred at around 4pm on Aug 4 at KM57.4 of Jalan Batu Pahat–Mersing. The man was seen exiting Taman Megah and dangerously using the incoming lane at the slip road in an attempt to join the Mersing-bound traffic. His actions nearly caused a collision with another car entering the same road. Traffic enforcement officers from the Kluang district police headquarters arrested the suspect on Aug 6 after identifying him from the video. Police said the suspect tested negative for drugs following a urine test. The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which carries a maximum five-year jail term and a fine of between RM5,000 and RM15,000 upon conviction.
