Love Island's first bombshell is revealed and the American beauty is already in the villa causing a stir
Love Island's first bombshell has been revealed and she is already in the villa. ITV 's flagship show is already underway ahead of their season 12 launch on Monday as they have already started checking in the islanders. American beauty, Antonia Laites, who is a pool party girl from Las Vegas, is the first bombshell to check into the villa, according to The Sun. Antonia, who has also resided in Miami, is a sizzling brunette whose day-to-day is looking after the VIP cabanas at the lavish Fontainebleau Resort in Sin City. The Yank has reportedly strutted in on the first day to stir the pot for the islanders on the very first day. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. A source told the publication: 'Being Love Island's first bombshell of the series is a big deal and is always reserved for the sexiest cast members. 'In the past it's been the likes of Davide, Uma and even Ekin-Su on All Stars. 'Antonia landed as part of a huge first day and everyone is very excited.' Earlier this week, show host M aya Jama set pulses racing on Instagram as she teased the first-ever American bombshell. The Love Island host, 30, flaunted her legs in a silky white robe as she revealed to fans that she'd received a voice note from a mystery new islander. At the start of the clip, Maya playfully echoed the show's signature line: 'Oh, I've got a text... I've been expecting this one.' She then listened to the message, which teased: 'Hey Maya, I heard you want more twists. How about an American bombshell? Get ready, I'm on my way.' While the voice note didn't reveal their identity, it confirmed that for the first time ever Love Island UK is welcoming a U.S. islander into the villa. Maya wrapped up the teaser with a smile, saying: 'Alright, there's the sweet, sweet sounds of an American.' Love Island confirmed the full line-up of contestants joining the upcoming series earlier this week. The ITV2 dating show returns on June 9 and there looks set to be the usual mix of love triangles, bedroom trysts and messy breakups as contestants make their way to the island. This year's crop of hopefuls include a Declan Rice body double, fire breather and Maura Higgins lookalike and Maya will once again be at the helm after joining the popular dating series in January 2023. This year, the show celebrates a decade on screens and promises to have 'more twists and turns than ever before' in honour of their 10-year anniversary. The series, which has been streamed over two billion times on ITVX, has seen over 300 Islanders pass through the villa doors over the years, including the likes of Olivia Attwood, Dani Dyer, Chris Hughes, and Molly-Mae Hague. Earlier this week, a Love Island producer also revealed that this year's contestants could come face to face with their ex-partners in the villa. Speaking to The Sun, ITV's Mike Spencer-Hayter said: 'Do you know what I always say, the cast get released and then the ex's come forward. And that's how you get the bombshells. 'They will have to go through the process, but we have already a pool of really really good bombshells lined up. There's some people in that mix that are really under the radar as well. 'The casting team have been working for quite a while now. Gone to lots of different events and been out and about looking for people and I think they've done a brilliant job. We always have those killer bombshells to come in.' It comes after Mike revealed to the Mail that the first week of the new season will see 'something big' as they 'tear up the rule book' to liven up the hit show. Last year the show had a shock entry when TOWIE favourite Joey Essex, 34, entered the villa, to very mixed results from fans. When asked if they will be getting another former reality TV star or celebrity in as a contestant this year, Mike said something else will be a surprise. 'No former Love Islanders are coming in this year,' he said. 'Something big is coming in week one though. Not another reality star like Joey Essex. 'We've got a big week one planned. It's not a celebrity, but totally new. It's even different this year the way islanders will couple up. 'You can't rest on people loving the show, we have to keep it exciting. Tear up the rule book a bit.' Love Island is set to air on June 9 over on ITV2 and ITVX.

I'm proud to represent the Americans that look like me
The 21-year-old, now a two-time grand slam champion, says she wants to bring 'hope and light' to black Americans who feel under-represented. wow. this means so much to me truly….french open champion🥹i worked so hard for this moment and for it to have happened is insane. thank you God ❤️ and thank you everyone. this means the world…. I 'm still in shock honestly can't find the words but all I can say for now is… — Coco Gauff (@CocoGauff) June 7, 2025 'It means a lot and obviously there's a lot going on in our country right now,' she said. 'But just to be able to be a representation of that and a representation of, I guess, people that look like me in America who maybe don't feel as supported during this time period, and so just being that reflection of hope and light for those people.' Gauff won the WTA Finals in Riyadh in November, days after the re-election of US President Donald Trump. 'I remember after the election and everything, it kind of felt (a) down period a little bit,' she added. 'My mum told me during Riyadh, 'Just try to win the tournament just to give something for people to smile for'. 'So that's what I was thinking about today when holding that (trophy). 'And then seeing the flags in the crowd means a lot. You know, some people may feel some type of way about being patriotic and things like that. 'But I'm definitely patriotic and proud to be American and I'm proud to represent the Americans that look like me and people who kind of support the things that I support.' Gauff is scheduled to play at the Berlin Open, beginning a week on Monday, to kick off her preparations for Wimbledon. But she said: 'I haven't thought that far ahead. Obviously I'm going to take some days off, for sure. 'I'm signed up for Berlin right now. We'll see if I play or not. This part of the season is new just because of the fact that it's so short and I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but I'll have that conversation with my team and take their opinions and see what they think is best. 'For sure I'm going to rest and enjoy it and not go into training too quickly just because I feel like this stuff doesn't happen too often, so you've just got to enjoy it.'

Molly-Mae Hague admits 'it all feels a little bit full circle' as she reacts to her 2019 Love Island audition tape while Tommy Fury makes his long-awaited return to her vlogs
Tommy Fury has finally made his grand return to Molly-Mae Hague 's YouTube vlogs for the first time since the couple's shock split. After months of rumours that they had rekindled their romance, the couple finally confirmed they were back on by going Instagram official last month with a loved-up family snap with their daughter Bambi, two. But Molly-Mae, 26, has insisted that the pair are taking it slow this time around, with the boxer, also 26, still not moving back in to her Cheshire mansion, and not being shown on her vlogs - until now. Her latest video diary released on Saturday, saw Tommy back on camera again, announcing: 'The wanderer has returned! Like nothing ever changed.' And the couple looked as loved-up as ever, as they cosied up together and burst into a fit of giggles, before Tommy even leaned in for a kiss and bid Molly goodbye with an 'I love you'. And Molly-Mae even reflected on it feeling 'a little bit full circle' as the pair caught a glimpse of the beginning of their love story, as they watched Love Island anniversary special. To mark 10 years of the show, ITV aired a one-off Love Island: Decade of Love last week, where they celebrated Molly-Mae and Tommy as one of their biggest success stories. The pair fell for each other in front of the nation during series five in 2019, before going on to welcome daughter Bambi and get engaged in 2023. But fans were shocked when they announced they'd split on Instagram in August, with Tommy later revealing Molly ended their romance over his excessive drinking. In a telling moment, as he watched the anniversary special with Molly, Tommy admitted that he 'missed' the villa life, where they 'had no worries'. He said: 'Do you know what it is? Genuinely, I miss that place. I do miss it, because you had no worries in there, you didn't have a phone - which you know I love. You had your own clique in there, you got on with people, it was good wasn't it?' However, Molly-Mae confessed: 'It was good, but I mean I wouldn't be in a rush to go back.' While she acknowledged the meaningfulness of Tommy returning to her vlogs, while watching Love Island, saying: 'How funny that this is your first time back on the vlog in a substantial amount of time and I'm watching a decade of Love Island. It all feels a little bit full circle right now.' To mark 10 years of the show, ITV aired a one-off Love Island: Decade of Love last week, where they celebrated Molly-Mae and Tommy as one of their biggest success stories (seen on show in 2019) Meanwhile, she was left 'feeling sick' and admitted she'd 'given myself the ick' as she watched back her audition tape for the show for the first time on the special. She explained to her fans: 'Basically Fran [her manager] got an email a few weeks ago saying that they were doing a 10 years of Love Island programme to celebrate the 10-year anniversary. 'They said that my audition tape is going to be shown and Fran was like "Is there anyway we could see the audition tape before it gets put on TV considering Molly hasn't seen this in coming up to seven years?" 'I've never actually seen it, because it obviously it was filmed and I never got to see it, I actually forgot that even one existed to be honest. 'And it's about to be on TV in a minute and I have literally zero idea what to expect, because I've never seen it before and I'm actually really scared as to what I'm going to say, what I'm going to ever look like, or sound like. 'Maybe they might not show mine, but I think they will because Fran got told they definitely are going to and they said we can't show you a sneak peek.' Molly-Mae then gasped in shock at seeing a sneak peek, saying: 'Ah I've just seen a little bit of it! What am I wearing? Oh my gosh. I feel sick. 'I'm wearing like a black frilly blouse and I'm doing this thing with my tongue. I've just given myself the ick and I've only seen two seconds of it. I'm actually going to vomit.' The clip includes footage of Molly admitting: 'The last guy that I was with told me that I was too much for him to handle, whatever 'too much' actually means…'
