This cruise line has launched a completely nude cruise – and bookings are open now for 2026

Passengers have set sail on what may be the easiest holiday to pack for – a nude cruise.
The Big Nude Boat trip is run by nudist travel company Bare Necessities aboard Norwegian 's 2,300-person capacity Norwegian Pearl.
Body-confident cruisers departed from Miami on 3 February for an 11-day sailing that promises to take passengers back to 'bare-dise' with visits to Norwegian's private island on the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay, as well as St Lucia and St Maarten.
Bare Necessities said it aims to 'break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing-optional vacationing a viable and acceptable option.'
Onboard activities include a passenger talent show and LED parties, plus Norwegian Pearl has its own bowling alley, rock climbing wall, 16 dining options and 14 bars, including a whisky lounge.
There are some rules to follow though.
Passengers can be nude in public areas, such as the buffet and on-deck when the ship is at sea or anchored in a port (unless told not to).
But they must be dressed when the ship is docked in port, including on balconies, until the ship leaves and an announcement is made that nudity is again permissible.
Clothing is always required for meals in the dining rooms.
When sitting, passengers must be on a towel at all times while nude, and there are no photo zones around the pools and in dance venues.
Fondling and inappropriate touching is also strictly prohibited.
Bookings are already open for the 2026 sailing, also aboard Norwegian Pearl.
Departing from Miami on 9 February for an 11-day roundtrip, the sailing will visit the ABC islands – Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao – as well as Jamaica and Great Stirrup Cay.
Pricing starts from $2,000 (£1,600) per person.
Bare Necessities said: 'Whether you're a naturist veteran or new to nude recreation, this cruise provides an unmatched opportunity to embrace a clothes-free lifestyle in a fun, varied, and accepting environment.'
There are other cruise options for keen nudists.
Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas in February and November 2026, and one on Celebrity Silhouette in April 2026.

Celtic 'reopen talks' to sign January transfer target

The Parkhead club were linked with a move for the 21-year-old in the January transfer window, although it ultimately never came to fruition. Now, Celtic have reopened talks with Sarpsborg over the wide man, although no formal offer has been made yet, according to Sky Sports. There is also said to be interest in Orjasaeter from clubs in Germany and the Netherlands. Read more: Sky claimed in January that Celtic bid £4.6 million for the Norwegian, with his club holding out for £7 million. "I struggled to sleep," Orjasaeter previously said after his failed move to Parkhead. "I didn't know if I was going to be in Norway or not. I could have moved at any moment. I had to carry my passport with me everywhere. "When the window closed, I felt a sense of relief. I came to the conclusion that I was determined to stay in Sarpsborg and play here, because I didn't know if I was ready to leave yet. "Going abroad now is another level up. It had become more professional and everything. There were many thoughts going through my head during that period. "If I get a little more time in Sarpsborg, I think I'll mature and be ready for it eventually. "Of course, you will have a better life after your career if you have more money in your account, but you only live once. For me, it is just as important to have fun along the way. It is probably even more important "I have a lot of friends to keep me grounded. I think if I only had football, my head would explode! "I'm not much of a fan of football, but I love having it as a job. I couldn't have a better job than what I have. "But when I see that my friends are going on holiday or to ski at Easter, I get jealous. I'm not going to lie. "I hope that those clubs understand that not everyone can be the same. At the same time, I have my serious side too. And I think that kind of thing comes a little with age."

There will also be hydrolaunch slides that shoot riders into the air and the world's first sombrero slide, modeled after Mexico's iconic sombrero. The park will feature adventure pools and slides for younger kids too. At Splash Cove, another central neighborhood on the island, there will be the longest lazy river in the world. Along the hour-long float there are multiple entry and exit points and there will be a number of float up bars. Each tube will even have a cupholder for beverages. And for those who feel a little more daring, there is the option of venturing through a crazy section of the river that has twists and turns with waves, rapids and spins. In the centre of all of this is a 100,000sqft pool - which is one of 10 across the island. Smaller children will be able to enjoy Royal Caribbean's largest Splashaway Bay with the first-ever Splashaway Cabanas nearby. The cruise line has partnered with Legacy Entertainment - a US-based design firm responsible for theme parks and attractions - to create the waterpark.
