Alleged Pam artist's bizarre court antics
Jack Gibson-Burrell dropped to the ground and performed one of the comic book character's iconic poses before running down the street and feigning an attempt to climb the side of the Melbourne Magistrates Court.

Police allege Mr Gibson-Burrell is the artist behind a series of high-profile graffiti incidents depicting a cartoon bird in jaw-dropping locations across the city.
The former Yarraville resident was arrested on January 30 and initially charged with 59 offences.
But in court, Magistrate Michelle Mykytowycz noted there were now 208 charges listed against Mr Gibson-Burrell.
During a bail application in February, where the accused man was freed to live with his grandmother in Geelong, police revealed Mr Gibson-Burrell had been under surveillance for more than 200 hours in 2024 and early 2025 as they worked to build a case against him. 'The accused is currently one of the most prominent graffiti artists in Australia,' Senior Constable Scott Nicholls alleged.
'The accused has committed, and will continue to commit burglaries to gain access to whichever locations he desires, and will frequently abseil to vandalise property with graffiti.'
The court was told Mr Gibson-Burrell's lawyer, Mick Milardovic, had filed paperwork to prepare for a committal hearing — where a magistrate would hear the case and decide if there was sufficient evidence for it to go to trial. Mr Milardovic intends to question six witnesses, five police and one civilian, in the two-day hearing set down for February 2.
Mr Gibson-Burrell's bail was extended and he will return to court on that date.

The hearing was pushed back to September 1 by magistrate Michelle Hodgson after prosecutor Louis Andrews flagged the police officer's wife had expressed reluctance to give evidence. 'The prosecution has to consider whether or not to make an application for that witness to be treated as unavailable,' Mr Andrews said. Police are on the hunt for a brazen thief who broke into a home in Melbourne's east and carefully stole four luxury cars. including a $1m red Ferrari, over three hours. Detectives have released an image of the Ferrari, which sports a distinctive black and white stripe down the centre of the bonnet, as they call on the public to help them catch the thief. The man stole four luxury cars from a home in Balwyn North last week. 'It is understood a man gained entry to a property on Greythorn Rd about 1.30am on August 15,' the police said. 'Once inside the property, the man stole four sets of car keys, a wallet and air pods. Man stabbed in head in home invasion: cops
Two teenage boys are among the people arrested after a man was stabbed in the head and face during an alleged home invasion in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Two young children were inside the Kew East home at the time. Police allege five unknown people smashed a large window of the house on Oxford St at about 4am on Sunday. A husband and wife inside the house were woken by the sounds of smashing glass, and soon confronted by the alleged intruders. Three people, including a teenage boy, have been arrested after an alleged violent home invasion. The wife was taken to a room where two children, aged two and three, were sleeping. 'The husband was then stabbed multiple times to the head, face and arms,' a police statement read. It is further alleged one offender returned to their car, while the other four got into the occupants' BMW. 'The stolen BMW was located dumped on Christie Street in Deer Park,' police said. The man was allegedly stabbed in the head, face and arms during the alleged invasion. Two boys, aged 16 and 17, and a 24-year-old Caroline Springs man are being interviewed. Police are still searching for others allegedly involved. Two other adults who were at the home at the time, aged 69 and 70, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The two children and another adult did not suffer physical injuries.
