Miri Technologies to make NAB Show debut with X510 network router
Miri is also rolling out a new "Try Before You Buy" programme to allow potential customers in the United States to test the X510 in their environments before purchase.
Miri Technologies is gearing up for its first-ever booth appearance at the NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas. Exhibiting in NAB's 'Premiere Park' section, the company will highlight its X510 dual-cellular bonding network router, designed to provide robust, high-performance internet connectivity for live streaming, newsgathering and remote production. To enhance customer confidence, Miri is also introducing a 'Try Before You Buy' programme, allowing US customers to test the X510 in real-world environments before making a purchase.
In today's fast-paced media landscape, uninterrupted internet access is critical. However, many locations still struggle with service disruptions and inconsistent speeds, leading to lost revenue and missed opportunities. The Miri X510 router tackles these challenges by merging multiple wired and wireless connections—including 4G, 5G, Starlink and Wi-Fi—into a single, stable bonded link, ensuring seamless performance even in remote areas with weak network coverage.
At the core of the X510's performance is Speedify, a channel bonding solution developed by Connectify. The router supports up to seven direct connections, including integrated 5G/4G modems, Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi connectivity and USB support for external modems. Its automatic failover system ensures continuous internet access, even if one provider goes offline, while its ability to bond 4G LTE and 5G helps users navigate network congestion in crowded venues.
For those needing extra bandwidth, Miri's Speedify Pair & Share function enables connection sharing from up to 20 mobile devices, creating a total of 27 contributing links for internet resilience.
The X510 supports Miri's new NetConnect+ multi-carrier data plans, which intelligently switch between major carriers and regional networks as needed. Customers can also use their own SIM cards, offering greater flexibility for those with specific data contracts. This feature is particularly beneficial in high-density environments like press conferences, where multiple journalists may rely on the same networks.
Compact and adaptable, the X510 is suitable for rack mounting, desktop use or field deployment. Unlike video encoders that limit transmission to specific codecs or protocols, the X510 handles all types of data, from live streams to general file transfers. Additionally, built-in encryption secures traffic, allowing users to select preferred Speed Servers from global locations to optimize performance and meet data sovereignty requirements.
To help customers experience the X510 firsthand, Miri Technologies is rolling out a five-day trial programme for US users. Those who choose to purchase the router at the end of the trial will have their fee—minus shipping—credited toward their purchase. Customers can test the X510 using Miri's NetConnect+ data plans or their own SIM cards, ensuring the router meets their specific needs before committing to a purchase.
Ryan Brenneman, CTO of Miri Technologies, said: 'Customer reaction to the Miri X510 router has been tremendous, and we can't wait to showcase its unique advantages to NAB Show attendees in Las Vegas. The X510's ground-breaking feature set, purpose-built design and unmatched flexibility truly set it apart. We're positive that users will appreciate its benefits once they experience them first-hand, and our new 'Try Before You Buy' programme lets them do so in their own environment so they can purchase with confidence.'
The Miri X510 router is currently available in the United States and Australia, with expansion to additional global markets planned throughout 2025.

I don't know if we will anymore," the president said."He said the most beautiful things about me. And he hasn't said bad about me personally. That'll be next. But I'm very disappointed."Trump's comments extended a decline in Tesla world's richest man, a key figure in the Department of Government Efficiency's (DOGE) cost-cutting initiative for several months, has blasted the bill, not long after he said he would spend less time in the White House and more time with his companies. On his social media platform X, Musk has called on Congress members to kill the legislation, calling it a "disgusting abomination.""It more than defeats all the cost savings achieved by the DOGE team at great personal cost and risk," Musk, the largest Republican donor in the 2024 election cycle, said on X on leadership of DOGE and his alignment with the Trump administration have put off some Tesla buyers. Sales of his EVs have slumped in Europe, China and key U.S. markets like California, even as overall electric vehicle purchases continue to has slowly started to separate himself from the White House in recent weeks, stung in part by the wave of protests against Tesla."Elon's politics continue to harm the stock. First he aligned himself with Trump which upset many potential Democratic buyers. Now he has turned on the Trump administration," said Tesla shareholder Dennis Dick, chief strategist at Stock Trader other businesses, SpaceX and Starlink, dominate their respective markets, but have also come under scrutiny due to Musk's relationship with two businesses often serve as the default choice for commercial launches and satellite internet deployment, and foreign governments have also increasingly looked to Starlink, with regulatory approvals smoothed by Musk's shares are down 12% since May 27, roughly coinciding with his decision to pull back from Washington stock has been on a roller-coaster ever since his endorsement of Trump in mid-July 2024 in his re-election bid, gaining 169% from that point through mid-December. That was followed by a 54% selloff through early April as a "Tesla Takedown" protest movement House of Representatives version of the budget bill proposes largely ending the popular $7,500 electric vehicle subsidy by the end of 2025. Tesla and other automakers have relied on incentives for years to drum up demand, but Trump promised during the transition to end the could face a $1.2 billion hit to its full-year profit, along with an additional $2 billion setback to regulatory credit sales due to separate Senate legislation targeting California's EV sales mandates, according to J.P. But the company is still the most valuable automaker worldwide by a long shot - carrying a market value of $1 trillion, far surpassing Toyota Motor's market value of about $290 billion. Reliance, Airtel group challenges 'low' India satcom fee which can help Starlink
NEW DELHI - A group representing Indian telecom giants Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel has said their businesses will suffer if India prices satellite spectrum at "unjustifiably low" rates that benefit satellite internet services such as Elon Musk's Starlink. India's telecom regulator in May proposed satellite service providers pay 4% of their annual revenue to the government for offering services. Starlink had lobbied India not to auction spectrum but just assign licences in line with a global trend, saying it is a natural resource that should be shared by companies. The Cellular Operators Association of India in a May 29 letter to the telecoms ministry sought a review of those pricing proposals, saying traditional players pay higher upfront auction charges for telecoms spectrum which make their payments to the government for spectrum roughly 21% higher, when compared to what satellite players would pay. "Price per MHz should be equivalent or at least comparable for both, especially when used to reach the same consumers for identical services," said the letter, seen by Reuters. "Satellite services can offer competitive and affordable alternatives to terrestrial broadband," it added. Reliance, led by Asia's richest man Ambani, and Airtel didn't respond to Reuters' request for comment. Starlink was not immediately available for comment. A senior Indian government source told Reuters on Wednesday the telecoms ministry is still reviewing the pricing recommendations made by the regulator, adding such industry concerns have been raised in the past. Telecom players like Reliance Jio are concerned they will be offering similar wireless broadband services as satellite providers but paying much more, said an industry source with direct knowledge of the situation. Reliance and others have spent nearly $20 billion in recent years to get 5G spectrum via auctions to offer telecom, data and broadband services. Ambani's company unsuccessfully lobbied New Delhi for months to auction satellite spectrum, and not allot it administratively as Musk's Starlink wanted. Though Reliance and Airtel have signed distribution deals in March for Starlink equipment, they will continue to compete with Musk's offerings to customers once launched.
