Thai woman flicks cockroach off tourist's head; it was his pet. Watch
A seemingly well-intentioned act quickly spiralled into a bizarre scene on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, when a local woman tried to help a tourist by flicking what she believed was a cockroach off his head, only to discover it was his cherished pet.
The unexpected incident was first shared by the Facebook page Kamphaeng Phet Complaints and quickly went viral across all social media platforms. In the video filmed near Pa Tong Beach, the woman is seen approaching a male tourist, her eyes locked on a large cockroach sitting atop his head. Thinking she was doing him a favour, she instinctively flicked the insect away.
To her shock, and the confusion of onlookers, the tourist reacted immediately, visibly distressed. 'That's my pet!' he exclaimed in English, removing his balaclava mask in frustration as the cockroach tumbled to the ground.
As the insect crawled across the pavement, the man bent calmly and extended his hand. The cockroach then slowly makes its way back toward him, clearly recognising its owner.

'I think this man has abandoned many of his pets in my country's houses. Please come and take them with you,' a third user reacted. 'World is getting wild day by day,' a fourth user said,
According to historyfacts.com, while common pets like dogs and cats dominate most households, some of the most beloved pet categories include animals like a chinchilla, a ferret, a fancy guppy, a cockatiel, or even a six-toed Norwegian Lundehund.
