Sonakshi Sinha On Her Dream Role With Hubby Zaheer Iqbal: ‘Two Of Us As Villains…'

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has come a long way in her career. Having made her acting debut with the action film Dabangg opposite Salman Khan in 2010, she has portrayed her acting skills in a number of films including Lootera, Akira, Ittefaq, as well as web series such as Dahaad and Heeramandi. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, the actress portrayed a dark and negative character for the first time. She garnered immense praise for the performance. Now, in a recent interview, Sonakshi said that she is glad filmmakers are thinking out-of-the-box, and exploring more unique ways to present her as an actor. She also said that she wants to play a villain, along with her hubby Zaheer Iqbal, with both of them pitted against everyone.
Sonakshi is pleased that filmmakers now perceive her in a different way. She told Bombay Times, 'I am glad that directors have started thinking out of the box in terms of presenting me as an actor, and I am grateful for that. As a creative person, I go for stories, roles and ideas that really stir something in me."
Sonakshi also expressed her wish to share screen space with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple previously worked together in the 2022 film 'Double XL'. Although they are eager to collaborate on another project, they have a unique concept in mind for it. Zaheer says, 'Sonakshi and I should both play negative roles." Sonakshi added, 'Yes, the two of us as villains pitted against everyone."
Zaheer said that he loves watching Sonakshi in negative roles. He admired her performance as the scheming Mallikajaan in Heeramandi. Zaheer commented, 'I love seeing Sonakshi in negative roles, especially in a series like Heeramandi. I think she looks damn cool. Also, she has an eye for those characters. In real life, though, I can't be serious with her. If she looks at me angrily, I break into laughter."
In other news, Sonakshi Sinha is currently down with viral fever. Yesterday, Zaheer shared a video on Instagram in which she is seen in an unglamorous moment, battling a bout of viral fever. Zaheer captured the moment with a hilarious twist, and captioned it with a witty line: 'This girl has gone viral!"

Ed continued, "I was with my dad on tour, which is a rarity to get so much one on one time with him. Me and him got a flight to Kolkata, then a 5 and a half hour drive to his home town. We arrived, went on a barge down the river which was stunning, then got a scooty back to the studio where we finished the song,' wrote the 'Galway Girl' hitmaker. The experience was personal for Sheeran, who called it a 'core memory' he'll always cherish with his father. He added, 'Arijit taught me Punjabi and how to pronounce it all properly, and showed me Sitar. We then had dinner, and scooted around the village to see the sunset and moon with my dad. was a proper core memory i'll always cherish with my father, and i'm honoured to have created in this way with Arijit.'
