Authorities in western Washington are actively searching for a missing 21-year-old man with autism who went missing in the Arlington area on Sunday.
Jonathan Hoang left his home on 114th Drive Northeast between Sunday evening and Monday morning without a jacket, his own shoes, and his phone.
ARLINGTON, Wash. - Authorities in Washington are searching for a 21-year-old man with autism who went missing in the Arlington area on Sunday.
Jonathan Hoang was last seen at 7:30 p.m. on March 30. According to a family member, Hoang left his home on 114th Drive Northeast between Sunday evening and Monday morning without a jacket, his shoes, and his phone.
Hoang is possibly wearing black slip-on shoes, a t-shirt and pants. He is also autistic, but is verbal and can hold a conversation.
Hoang's family says this is not typical behavior for him, and are worried he may have gotten in a car with a stranger.
Snohomish County, King County, and Island County deputies, along with Search and Rescue crews, are actively looking for Hoang. They ask anyone living nearby to check home surveillance cameras.

Man arrested after hours-long search in Poulsbo, WA charged with murder
The Brief Laird Dinsmore, 35, is charged with first-degree murder and assault for allegedly killing James Foster in Poulsbo, WA. Dinsmore reportedly confessed to shooting Foster and firing at SWAT officers during his arrest. The motive remains unknown, but Dinsmore allegedly stole items from the property where Foster was working. POULSBO, Wash. - Kitsap County prosecutors have charged a man who was arrested after an hours-long search with first-degree premeditated murder and first-degree assault. Laird Dinsmore, 35, is accused of killing 50-year-old James Foster outside a home on Big Valley Road Northeast in Poulsbo on June 4. James' brother has started a GoFundMe to ask for help, writing, "Hello family, friends, and community. I am Aaron Foster, the brother of James Wayne Foster whose life was needlessly taken from him in a horrific crime in Poulsbo, Washington last week. Our family is asking for help raising the funds for a proper burial. We thank you with grateful hearts in advance for donations and prayers. He will be put to rest at Fraola Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington." The backstory According to court documents, Dinsmore confessed to murdering Foster with a rifle and to shooting towards SWAT team members when they were trying to arrest him in Snider Park on Wedneday. No motive was given in the court documents, but detectives say Dinsmore is believed to have stolen items including a rifle from the home where Foster was staying on the property, and working as a caretaker while it was being renovated. Detectives say a surveillance camera shows Dinsmore walking up with a rifle and firing twice at Foster, who was bent over working on an electric wheelchair, then jogging towards him and firing again. He then walked toward a motorhome, checked the rear window, walked back and allegedly shot Foster's lifeless body one more time. He then walked down the road and accessed Foster's truck. Foster's body wasn't discovered until June 7. Dinsmore was arrested on June 12. Missing fishing boat found underwater off the coast of Cape Cod
It's a tragic ending to a search that had been ongoing this week, the sunken white hulled Seahorse was spotted about two miles off Brewster beaches by a recreational boater just before 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. Shawn Arsenault, 64, left his slip at Rock Harbor marina in Orleans Sunday morning to go clamming with his girlfriend. "He's been a fisherman all his life. He's ran many boats from New Bedford to Provincetown," said his brother Paul Arsenault. "He told me he wasn't coming back until he got his 30-bag limit." That usually takes only a day, but when his white Ford pickup truck was still in the marina parking lot two days later it raised concerns, including reports of unusual behavior the day he left the harbor. "The fact that he didn't come in with the tide that evening wasn't necessarily alarming. The curious part was that the day he left the harbor he was discarding waste off the side of the boat," said Orleans Harbormaster Nathan Sears. The harbormaster says his boat had recently been running rough, but repairs seemed to put him back in business. "The community has been reaching out, giving hugs and saying prayers. We all just miss him so terribly," said Melissa Phillips. Arsenault's brother says his concern has grown by the minute and had this worry all along. "I'm beginning to think I'll never see my brother again," he said.

Body of missing boater from Knoxville recovered from Douglas Lake
The body of a Knoxville man was recovered June 10, two days after he went missing while boating on Douglas Lake. Search and recovery teams found the body of David Simanca Molina, 22, at a depth of approximately 81 feet in the Muddy Creek area of Douglas Lake, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said in a news release. Witnesses said Molina was not wearing a personal flotation device when he entered the water from a pontoon boat around 1:30 p.m. June 8 and did not resurface. His death marks the 11th boating fatality in Tennessee this year, according to the release.
