The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar, has commenced the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Driver Constables under Advt. No. 02/2025. Candidates can apply for the posts at csbc.bihar.gov.in till August 20, 2025.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 4361 vacancies. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, pay scale, and other details available in the notification below:

Applicants from Bihar state/ Female candidates SC/ ST category are required to pay a fee of Rs 180, whereas Rs 675 applies to other category candidates.

At the rear, it features redesigned LED taillamps with smoked effect, a gloss black panel between the tail lamps, and 'Triber' badging on the boot lid. Furthermore, it also gets a revised bumper and skid plates at the rear as well. The new Triber will be available in three new colour options: Amber Terracota, Shadow Grey, and Zanskar Blue. Inside, the cabin now features a dual-tone dashboard, an 8-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Renault has also added LED cabin lighting, new upholstery, and a digital instrument cluster. In terms of practicality, the third row can be removed entirely, freeing up to 625 litres of boot space. The key equity indices continued to trade with minor gains in morning trade as investors assessed stock-specific triggers amid Q1 earnings announcements. The Nifty traded above the 25,100 level. Auto shares gained after declining in the past trading session.. At 10:25 AM ST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex advanced 162.30 points or 0.20% to 82,350.08. The Nifty 50 index rose 46.90 points or 0.19% to 25,107.90. In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index shed 0.26% and the S&P BSE Small-Cap index fell 0.18%. The market breadth was negative. On the BSE, 1,492 shares rose and 1,865 shares fell. A total of 166 shares were unchanged. Buzzing Index: The Nifty Auto index added 0.98% to 24,111. The index declined 0.74% in the past trading session. Centre Supports Over 18.84 Lakh EVs Under FAME Schemes: Minister

New Delhi: The government has supported a total of 18,84,905 electric vehicles (EVs) under the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid and) Electric Vehicles in India (FAME India) schemes till June 30 this year, the Parliament was informed. Under the FAME-II scheme, the government supported 16,29,600 vehicles. The FAME-II scheme sanctioned a total of Rs 912.50 crore for installation of 9,332 EV PCS, out of which 8,885 EVPCS have been installed (as on June 30), said Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha. The FAME schemes were applicable all across the country, including tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The FAME-I Scheme duration was 2015-2019 and the duration of FAME-II scheme was 2019-2024. Under the FAME-I scheme, 2,55,305 EVs were supported by the government, the minister informed. Under FAME-I, approximately 520 charging stations/infrastructure were sanctioned with an amount of Rs 43 crore. The key objectives of FAME-II scheme are to encourage adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles by the way of market creation, demand aggregation and other related activities; promote domestic technology for development of electric vehicles and its components ecosystem and promote manufacturing of Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) and hybrid vehicles within the country by the way of supporting manufacturing ecosystem. It also helps in creating strong, globally competitive, viable and self-sustaining xEV industry and contributing to country's efforts for low emission intensive economy as agreed in COP 21, the minister said. The National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) 2020 is a National Mission document providing the vision and the roadmap for the faster adoption of electric vehicles and their manufacturing in the country. As part of the NEMMP 2020, the Ministry of Heavy Industries formulated the FAME India scheme in 2015 to promote adoption of electric/ hybrid vehicles (xEVs) in India.
